Certainly the emotional toll would have a bigger impact. But I still don't think a reasonable excuse for not being punished is to just feel guilty. Where would the line be drawn between who you kill, how important they were to you, etc.?

I think it is perfectly reasonable to want to see him go to jail. Just because he is going to feel guilty, doesn't mean he should get off scot free from actual repercussions. Drunk or not he acted recklessly and it led to the death of another person.

Seems like it is always the other guy who gets the worst of these things. I was thinking what would be worse: to find out Heatley was drunk and was impaired and stupid or to find out he was sober and just knowingly stupid? Side note, Heatley did tear his ACL and MCL so he is likely out for the year jail or not.

It still irritates me beyond belief that Braves fans would let the Cubs fans overrun the stadium like that. The Braves should be sentenced to 30 years of cellar dwelling to teach the fans a lesson.

You guys are worrying too much. I'll start planning my pick within 4-5 picks of my spot. If you plan any earlier you are going to get upended anyway. It isn't like a live draft where you only have a few minutes to adjust to other picks.

Probably the fact that it is the final game they figure why would you pull a guy pitching great. But with how many pitches he threw in Game 1 and the fact their is a 4 run lead I would yank him. If you can't count on your bullpen to protect a 4 run lead for 1 inning you aren't going very far anyway.

In a 16 team league I would be a little surprised if he made it past the 2nd and completely shocked if he made it past the third.
