    WrestleMania XX

By the looks of that, then no it won't live up to the hype. I would be shocked if it does live up to all of the hype, because it would have to be the best PPV ever, to meet expectations. I can't imagine there being such as drastic change in the next few months to result in a better product. Throw in a desperate plea for buyrate by throwing an Austin match and a Rock match on the card, but the best I can still hope for is a decent PPV.

You have to say broken "freakin" neck though.

    Baseball Preview for Today

I am not worried about the reaction of the fans this weekend. Between the Vet festivities and the better than normal year it should be good. I think there will be a shorter leash if they come out and lay an egg like they did in Florida. And Pat Burrell might feel something from fans (his average is easy to blame the end of the season on from a fans perspective). The reaction I am going to be most interested in, is for Millwood on Sunday. I wonder if he will get the "Please come back" standing O.

    Baseball Talk

Yeah, my cousin has to work now because a guy called off for a funeral. And everyone else is either not a baseball fan or jerking off to the thought of Saturday being the first day of bow hunting season.

    Baseball Talk

Jesus christ I hate the Phillies. 6-0. I was content. It was a good season that was coming to an end. Then the comeback. Dangling the carrot out there just to yank it away again. FUCK. And people wonder why Philly fans are nuts. Off topic, Spiff or Al, I have an extra ticket to Saturday's game, either of you want?

WWE Notes From The 9/27 Torch

I want the Rock to get enough stroke in Hollywood that he gets casting people to bring in HHH for auditions. I would love to see something about HHH auditioning all around town and getting nothing, while Rock just sits back somewhere and laughs.

    No Mercy Matches

You sick freak for even thinking of something like this! Come on now. HHH likes to fuck muscle bound people in the ass, and Vince has been dying to get at Steph.

Raw sucks up to our troops

So the WWE is trying to get people to care. What is wrong or partisan about that?

    ESPN.com NFL Power Rankings

"And the Eagles don't have a back that's going to pound out 42 carries either" That made me chuckle. At the rate they are going I don't think any RB is going to get 42 carries on the season. 19 carries on the season so far for the RBs total. It could be fun, in a perverse sort of way, to watch Drew Bledsoe tear Lito Sheppard completely apart.

Raw sucks up to our troops

There is a difference between not believing and not caring in voting. Give people a reason to vote and they will. Even the people who use their right not to vote, because they don't like any choice, still believe in voting.

WHOOOOO! The Eagles have a prayer.

Power rankings suck when your team blows. Any word about Travis Henry, for this week, yet?

Raw sucks up to our troops

"So WWE shouldn't be partisan towards voting because the majority of the people don't agree with it. " And the hits just keep on coming.

    No Mercy Matches

This match is going to be their honeymoon. Throw in HHH as the special guest, get all three of them rolling around together, and you have what appears to be their dream scenario.

Raw sucks up to our troops

When you join the military you sign a contract. This isn't like the sports world where you can holdout and not live up to your contract. In the real world, businesses will sue for breech and the government will jail your ass for breaching their contract.

    IS TSM Still Fun?

Between the baseball season ending and the football season I think the Sports folder is pretty kick ass right now. So I enjoy it.

"Or you can explain why people in the military are forced to go to war." This quote is thisclose to being sigworthy.

    Clarrett sues NFL

I will ditto Bored's sentiments. A big injury results in constant, "oh what could've been" comments from analysts and Clarett becomes a bigger legend then he could ever play himself to be. I want him to come in and bomb so people realize that young kids aren't ready for the pro game.

Good to see Jericho may be playing the fool in the end again. I was worried they had gotten a clue for a sec.

    MLB MVP Voting

"After games of May 29, the Rangers were still within two games of .500 (25-27). Then, over the next 3½ weeks, they hurtled right off the AL West cliff. They went 2-20 in their next 22 games -- a stretch of Tigers-like baseball that blew up the season. If we could say, "At least that wasn't A-Rod's fault," we could look at his MVP candidacy in a whole different light. But that isn't the case. He went 2-for-23 with runners in scoring position during that time. He hit three homers and drove in seven runs (one fewer than Jason Bay drove in Friday in one game). In the first 16 games of that span, he had one homer and two RBI. So as the ship sank, he sank with it. It really wasn't until his team's season was essentially over that he began compiling many of these alleged MVP numbers." Ok, so by the way the article looks at it, Arod came up short when needed. But isn't it just as easy to say that when he slumped (which everyone will during a season) the Rangers played Tigers like baseball, not the other way around? So while we may exaggerate other people, without Arod the Rangers actually are the Tigers.

    Fantasy Football

I'm not trading Stephen Davis without getting a good running back in return. I have WR depth, I don't have any running back depth.
