Who said the Blue Jays were the more successful franchise in the 90s? There is a difference between saying you aren't jealous of another team and saying my team was more successful.

In this game, there really isn't much else to talk about. And I am starting to feel bad for the defense. You've got an eight minute drive, then your offense comes out for about 30 seconds before sending you back on the field. We could have the battle of the shutouts next week, though, Pats-Eagles. Who will score their first points of the season? Find out next week.

I think going with a Polanco group might be overkill. He already has had two IIRC. Placido's Domingos and Lake Placido. And those guys who set up the field were great. I doubt management would let them become regulars, though, it is probably a little too dangerous for their liking.

What a fucking disgrace. First of all, Andy Reid, you have a 245 pound of muscle QB. So on the one yard line, let the QB sneak it at least once you stupid fuck. Second of all, the fucking checkdown passes are a joke. Throw the ball more than 5 fucking yards and maybe you will open up some room. Instead of every defensive player starting within two yards of the line. Offensive line - blows McNabb's passing - blows Coaching - blows Play calling - blows I don't care if they come back to win, they deserve to lose this game badly. I kind of wish the score was 20-0 so they would realize how shitty they have been. 10-0 doesn't look that bad in the box score. Hollis Thomas has looked good though. And...um...it is time to start looking for Tra Thomas' replacement. Yeah, I ran out of positives.

Millwood facing the Braves has not been the best thing so far this year. And no fan group can beat a bunch of guys wearing full suits to a baseball game in the middle of the summer. That takes some fan dedication.

If anything happened backstage that would make Benjamin go off on Bradshaw like that, it is really time to fire Bradshaw. I don't care if he is the locker room enforcer, which is bullshit BTW. Get a future ME pissed at the business or keep around a bully who never has done anything more than tag team matches and drink? Tough choice.

And I give it about 20 posts before we get "IT ISN"T ALWAYS A DAMN CARRY!"
-
I don't recall Angle ever carrying someone to a 4 star match. Bret/Bulldog is the only remote 5* carry job I can think of.

Prediction: Bradshaw hazing joke in three posts. And is the Shaniqua in drag crap a bigger dig at Benjamin or a dig at Shaniqua?

Test was over, somewhat, a few weeks ago it seemed. But when they just kept his feud with Steiner going and then hit the eventual reset by sending Stacy back, that killed him off. Now anything he gets is just woman-beating cheap heat.

They are just cutting to the chase at this point. They are gunning for Eli Manning in the draft.
-
And I would make a joke about which AFC contender the Texans beat, but really at this point the Phins collapses are just sad.

Remaining seconds 4th down TD pass > remaining seconds FG Of course if I could have watched any game today, I would have liked to see the Lions/Cards game. That one looked the most entertaining.

You figure there are a lot of people with their hand in the pie. Distributors, theaters, actor points, director points, and probably a few other things.

With Burgess now out for the year, I was a little concerned. But with signing Marco Coleman and the Giants lackluster play, those worries are gone.
-
At least after today, unless they completely fall arart, I am confident that the Eagles will be getting a top 2 seed. Winner tomorrow gets the 1 seed, loser gets the 2 The Giants played like junk, they lucked out by facing Warner. The Packers are out, Minnesota doesn't concern me, and who else is there?
-
Yeah, I was just bored today by three crappy games and a game with a ton of officiating bullshit. I missed having my team on.
-
It's weird having your team start the season on MNF. On one hand it is good, because it means your team is good. But by the time Monday rolls around, a bit of the opening weekend luster has worn off. Of course by 9:00 tomorrow night I doubt I will think the same way.

Studios only receive about 55 percent of the total. So while it made it's money back, it hasn't made the studios money back.
-
It cost 42 mil total. So by the time they get foreign and DVDs done, the studio will have made their money back. I can't believe Pirates is still hanging around, that movie could be around til December with how weak upcoming releases look.

Christ I was having a heart attack over the last 5 minutes. If Derrick Mason would have gotten one more yard I would have lost in my money league. And I was beyond pissed about that TD bullshit call.
-
Did Al Harris get called for any pass interference penalties in that game?

Braves fans don't seem to be the most creative though. Sheff's Chefs? Come on now. And the worst part is that the team is playing into the fan groups, giving out chef hats. Do you know why those work so great in Philly? Because they are FAN groups. Fans come up with them, fans participate, the team appreciates. That's it. BTW, The Pratt Pack owns all.

I wouldn't exactly call the Braves winning just one world series out of 11 chances a failure. The baseball playoffs are the hardest to get to, so to get there 11 times in a row is an achievement. That said, if I was a Braves fan, I would be disappointed considering some of the teams they have had.

There is no excuse for letting a pitcher average less than 10 pitches per inning. I don't care if you are a hacking team, by the 6th inning everyone should be taking at least one pitch per at bat. And I think Halladay will get the Cy Young. Since the AS break, Halladay seems to have been getting a little more publicity than Loaiza. That streak he had of three months without a loss will help him, people like streaks.
