    ESPN Predictions

How is Mike Williams coming along up there? I would imagine he is going to be a key to their whole offense. With Reed instead of Price, the opposition will probably start throwing an extra man in the box and the tackles will have to be able to handle one-on-one matchups. If he can't handle it yet, they are screwed with Bledsoe back there.

    ESPN Predictions

Seattle played a great half dozen meaningless games at the end of last season. If that doesn't spell playoffs I don't know what does. Now they may play well this year, but until they perform I am not putting them ahead of S.F. or St. Louis. Matt Hasselbeck: Perform in real games and I will buy into the hype. But some people are predicting 4000 yards passing this season? Give me a break Koren Robinson: Potential top 10 receiver. Darrell Jackson: I want to see how he rebounds from his Mr. Potato Head stint last year. Shaun Alexander: Yes, he will give you 1400 yards on the season with 15-18 TDs. Unfortunately it will mostly come in 5-6 games. He needs to stop being a 30 carry 250 yard game to 25 carry 50 yard next game roller coster ride. Defense: Line is nothing special, LBs are solid, Springs' injury kills their secondary. Trufant will probably start or see significant time and rookie CBs always seem to struggle. And their schedule is nothing to sneeze at. New Orleans - tough game at Ariz - win St. Louis - win at GB - loss SanFran - win Chicago - Win at Cincy - trap game, loss Pitt. - tough at Wash - tough with hurting secondary Detroit - win at Baltimore - loss Cleve - tough at Minn - tough at St.Louis - probably split series call this the loss Ariz - win at SanFran - loss So take out Arizona, since SF and StL play them as well, and they have a tough road ahead.

Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Season 7

Didn't Buffy kill the crazy vampire in the episode where she had her powers taken away by tricking him into drinking holy water?

    Pats cut Lawyer Milloy

I don't think what the Pats did is as bad, because usually don't the players get a bigger signing bonus in renegotiated contracts? So if the player is getting more upfront, guaranteed money it isn't too bad. I do think it is cowardly to claim he was a product of the system, as opposed to saying they think the players they signed will help them more than Milloy. God damn that is a big chunk of money to lose next year.

    Pats cut Lawyer Milloy

I am not going to weep for their cap situation when they signed Roosevelt Colvin (one of the top three FAs this offseason), Rodney Harrison (top 5 FAs), and just traded for Ted Washington. Decisions have to be made between players and if Milloy wouldn't renegotiate to their liking he is obviously going to take the fall.

    Triple H-Goldberg Unforgiven Build

Nah, Goldberg won't join HHH, he will join Evolution once HHH leaves. Goldberg beats HHH for the title. Orton beats Goldberg for the title boots HHH. HHH wins rumble, Goldberg joins Evo. HHH beats Goldberg at NWO. HHH beats Orton in WMXX ME.

    worst angles ever

The bulid-up for the WCW Beach Blast PPV (?) has to be up there. Vader and Sid in flip flops, Bulldog and Sting playing with orphans, a midget with a bomb, how could you go wrong with that?

"Hey Paul Wight, yer a nasty bastard and yer momma said so." That right there makes up for the Bossman/Big Show angle.

    ESPN's Monday Night Countdown

Has anyone really liked Berman for a while? It seems that people like him for the first year or two they watch him, then they turn.

    worst angles ever

I would go with anything involving the KISS Demon, just because of how much money it cost them to use him. It may not be the worst, but I think it is the worst in a dollar per crap sort of way.

At least with Robocop you get some crossover effect. With Katie Vick you get: "Oh my god, I screwed her brains out."

The No Mercy 2003 Promo Poster

Awful logo, and I don't like the SD logo being in there. It just messes up the black and red flow, and it is really unnecessary. I like the picture and design though.

From City To City, Looking at WWE Fans

I have to agree with this. It seems as if the ECW generation around here is dying out completely and the casual fans are the ones going. The last few events in Philly I haven't even noticed the Hawaiian shirt guy which is a bad sign. Philly will always have an edge to it, but it won't really stand out from any other northeast city anymore. Funny how this discussion about the northeast fan was going on in the sports folder last week.

    Triple H-Goldberg Unforgiven Build

Not really... It tells the Marks that goldberg *MIGHT* win because they don't know the turmoil with Goldy and WWE They would never believe WWE would let goldberg go... It ruins it, because it tells everyone that he WILL win. Either he wins or yet another stipulation match will get ignored in the end somehow.

Hollywood Tells Hunter: You're No Austin or Rock

If Jericho got a high profile movie role he could sodomize HHH in the middle of the ring, instead of vice versa. Jericho in movies makes Vince money, making Vince money means you rule the company.

Hollywood Tells Hunter: You're No Austin or Rock

Actually wasn't there talk that CBS wanted to turn Austin's character from Nash Bridges into it's own spinoff.

Who is your last man on the bench though? Seems weird that you would give up a starting QB over whoever that is. Granted Stewart won't provide much, but he at least has a job for now.

    Don't look now...

A mini-tournament would rule the fucking world. I don't think the Phillies are going to be a part of anything like that though. After Bowa's went ballistic on them they are either going to rally and win it outright or fall completely apart and get Bowa fired.

I'm finally done with WWE for a while.

"Now, we have Jericho CONSTANTLY going over Nash" Man, I enjoyed this one. Jericho constantly goes over by getting powerbombed at every opportunity. Then winning the hair vs. hair match by playing pinball off Nash, but he did win cleaner than expected. Then in the EC Jericho cleans up HBK's leftovers before getting powerbombed yet again. And how did a Suckbag/HBK comment lead to an analysis of the fans reaction to Goldberg/HHH?

The ONE and ONLY fantasy football thread

If you start 3 WRs then nevermind. See if a Stacey Mack or Amos Zereoue type slipped through and are available on the waiver wire. I doubt you will find a back on the waiver wire better than Duckett, unless it is a small league. So you might as well stay put for now and not trade your WRs at least until Smith is back from suspension.
