The Olsen's at this point could have anyone who doesn't like them killed off.

15 years from now? She'll be needing it when she is 18 years and 1 minute old IMO.
-
Wasn't it her parents that fucked it up? (She'll still get the blamed though)

I'll go with Bynes, because I think Duff will suffer from too much too soon. While Bynes is able to do her thing with a smaller audience and evolve. I was so ready to avoid this thread completely.

If that is the case then I will change my view of him, but I am going on what I have seen and I just don't see the same attitude about him. As for the business man look and approach I think it robs the team and fans of the special feeling about a team. Take the 1993 Phillies for example. They weren't a good team talent wise, but they all clicked and they were all average joe type of guys and it made people love them when they did succeed.
-
I don't care if his look is a step up. If the Jason Giambi in Oakland was the real Jason Giambi and he changed himself to go play with the Yankees then he sold out.
-
I wouldn't take a TE until the 3rd (only if ALL good RBs are gone) or the 4th. And if you don't get one of the top three I wouldn't take one until I filled all the QB, WR, and RB spots.
-
Every A's game I saw he looked like he was smiling and joking with teammates. Everytime I see a Yankees game he just looks business like, does his job.
-
Jason Giambi is the biggest sell-out I can ever remember. I don't mind taking the money and going to a perennial winner, but he completely changed himself to do it. Gone is the hair, gone is any sembelence of having fun.

"They once booed Santa Claus in this city, but fans claim he deserved it because he appeared to be drunk." From a CNNSI.com article A better example to use against Philly would be to bring up how they cheered Michael Irvin being paralyzed. Granted that wasn't the fans finest hour.
-
I was kind of surprised when Atlanta booed Tom Glavine though. They don't seem to be the booing type plus he gave them a decade of great pitching.
-
He didn't want to be in Philly. I don't hate him as much as some fans, but I can't argue their hating him. I am of the opinion if you don't want to play then I don't want you on the team and that's it, but some fans hold a bigger grudge. And once you get a few people booing him everyone will join in.

It had a total budget of 50 mil. $25 mil in production/$25 mil in advertising

Can ESPN and ABC switch up their games now or are they stuck with a Vick-less Falcons team in their schedule?
-
Normally, I would come in and pat myself on the back for predicting Fvs.J would hit the 30 million mark. So I will. :pats self on back:

I don't know about Blake. I know a lot of years he played less than 16 games, but I don't know what was injury and what was losing his job.

Nobody is a bigger moron than Chris Guccione. First of all he can't call balls and strikes. And as soon as anyone even raises an eyebrow he throws off the mask, sticks his chin out, and starts yelling at the player. Thus goading the player/coach into arguing back and he tosses them. Dickheads like this need to be fired. The fact I remembered the guys name tells you he sucks.
-
Well you can count the Falcons out now. You knew it was coming though. We, in Philly, have dodged a bullet until last year. But a running QB will get hurt at some point. And I don't buy the whole arguement about less preseason games. It is necessary to see what the lower rung guys are going to do against other teams. If a team believes in less preseason games then play your good guys less if at all and just throw the reserves out there. I do think that the teams that play 5 (I think teams in special preseason games do) games is too much. 4 is good, 3 would be fine. But one of those games usually gets devoted quite a bit to starters so you need a couple more games to see reserves.

No, the worst commercial ever is that thetruth.com ad where they go by a playground in an ice cream truck. Blaring anti-tobacco stuff to little kids (not "don't smoke", but X amount of people die each year). That disgusted me. Little kids playing in a playground don't need to be hearing that shit.

Gee golly, a whole ONE blown call. This ump sure be playin favorites. Give me a break. Everybody misses calls and the replay showed the 1B foot on the opposite side of the bases which gets blown quite often. I am happy though, if the Marlins start to bitch it shows their heads are getting out of it a little.
-
I have never heard the baby, because any time it comes on I change it. I hate the commercial where they throw TVs through windows and turn on MTV2 with the tagline of "Here are you videos" (or something to that effect. Yeah, great job, mock people because they want to see videos on MTV.

Well Williams got his first save for the Phillies as they take back the wild card league. And Chase Utley goes 3-4 in his re-debut.
-
They already pulled Mesa from the role. They are going by committee for now.

I have no fear about the Phils bullpen. While their ninth innings have been interesting, the rest of the bullpen has been terrific all year. Pleasac (1.44 ERA, no ER allowed since June 4th) Wendell (2.01 ERA) Cormier (1.43 ERA, take out his first outing of the season he has a 0.73 ERA) Adams (2.28 ERA) They will be able to pick up the slack. And Mike Williams has been solid since his first shaky week with the club (1 ER in his last 7 appearances, 7 1/3 innings).

It took the Marlins playing over their heads and the Phillies playing like shit for them to take over, so I am still going to guess Phils recover and win. And in the next two months Chase Utley becomes a Philadelphia legend.
