I don't see why PRIDE would include 4 to 5 Gracie vs Japan matches in addition to the above. I think that was a.) before he became a running joke and b.) when westerns were the in thing (Maverick, Quick and the Dead, Wyatt Earp, Tombstone). Like I said, it may be a good movie (I think reviews have been good), but I don't think a Kevin Costner western could draw right now.

I think Open Range will be lucky to crack the top 5. Kevin Costner + Western is not really the best way to get people in the theater. It may be a perfectly good movie, but with his recent track record I can't see people jumping at this movie.

Do you think the writers have really thought out a RVD side to this story? RVD is pure filler in this feud so his no promo time really isn't bothering me. I like it actually, don't build the feud and people will forget RVD got squashed in it quicker.

I would imagine you will be crazy for a while then. After interfering last week, it made no sense for her not to be in this match unless she really fucked up her knee last week I don't mind the women's wrestling right now. Yes, the characters are stale and no, they aren't very good. But they seem to bust their ass out there, and I would rather watch people busting their ass and sucking than people just going out there and sucking. Plus, I like seeing hot women (sue me). Have everyone else improve, and go past the women and we can talk. But there are many more things that need to be addressed before jumping on the women's division.

As a newbie, I don't know if I would buy a CoCop/Coleman fight. Coleman/Frye bored the piss out of me. Granted I will buy it for the tourney so why waste a good match, but I still don't like the match.

After watching the match again I can't buy Yoshida's injury. It goes from ok during the match, to limping, to collapsing, to yelling when they straighten it, to yelling when they touch it, to barely limping walking back from the ring.

Would they replace Yoshida, maybe with Overeem or Busta, or would they just have a bye (which is completely unfair)?

I have quickly become a CroCop mark. His MDK kicks are one thing, but what really got me was during the Heath Herring fight when Herring would go down Mirko would offer a hand to help him up. That is awesome.

The thing about CroCop is he doesn't even seem like he is trying. Fedor seemed to be wanting to finish it early, maybe that Fujita fight got in his head a little. CroCop hopped around...lalala.....death kick. I am scared to see what he is like pissed off and intense.

How long do you think Fedor/CroCop would go? After the Fujita fight I think CroCop's first big shot would be the end, and Fedor certainly has some striking power. I haven't seen CroCop's chin yet, but I can't imagine this going more than a few minutes.

If you want to talk crushing defeat of the night then I would take Sak/Silva, but for pure knockout, HOLY SHIT that was sick, goodness I like CroCop.

CroCop > Silva Silva knocked out Sak, but CroCop looked like he broke Igor's neck.

I am like you (only my second PRIDE) and I agree you can see Sak was the babyface. Silva just looks like such a fucking neanderthal that you just can't cheer him.
