Was happy with a 0-0 at Blackpool then Brooker scores in the last minute.

Won 4-0 tonight against Antwerp with a Nicky Maynard hat trick on his debut and a last minute Trundle penalty.

Our Chairman We were going to spend £1.5m for Meteb/Mifsud before we cancelled the deals, Johnson's always said he only has to say he's interested in a player and the Chairman gives him the money. We sold Nick Carle for £1.2m(700k profit in 6 months) and Gavin Williams can't have cost more than 250k so our total spend's about half last summer's £2.5m on Trundle,Mcindoe,Elliott,Sproule and Byfield.

We've signed Nicky Maynard from Crewe for £2.25m, scored 35 in 57 starts for them and Crewe weren't exactly flying high in the league either. Missed 4 months last season with a broken league and still got 15 goals, being young and English means a good season and he's worth £5 million.

Nice side, Be interested to know who's captain, I'd have Hunter myself but Bruce isn't bad either.
-
For my coach I'll take a legendary Dutchman who won the European Cup with Ajax, La Liga with Barcelona and a few spells as Netherlands Coach most notably in 74 and 88. Most known for "total football" but was one of the first managers to use the offside trap. Rinus Michels

For my first sub, I'm picking the player who led Bulgaria to 4th place in the 94 World Cup, had an appalling temper which he'll need to improve if my manager is ever going to bring him on. Hristo Stoichkov

Sad fact, only 10 players born in Bristol have ever played Premiership football, can't even claim Scott Sinclair as he's from Bath. Scott Golbourne Marcus Stewart Darren Peacock Julian Dicks Keith Curle Ian Holloway Gary Penrice David Lee Mike Hooper Andy Johnson (not the everton one)

http://www.setantasports.com/en/TV-and-Ent...britain-locale/ Think I've signed everyone of these, In 01/02 my 1st day bids would always go Kallstrom,Bakircioglu,Samba and Mike Duff(8.00 average every season) before the other clubs got in.

I'll always remember Redondo for the 2 performances against Man Utd in the 2000 Champions League where he completely dominated the tie

Finishing my Defence, a man who played in 4 world cups for Brazil and earned nearly 100 caps, didn't go forward as much as Cafu or Alberto becuase he wasn't needed to provide the width on his side(Garrincha) but made up for that with his strength and defensive abilities http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/Park/8885/djalma1.gif Djalma Santos

Daniel Passarella Argentina World Cup winning Captain who's regarded as one of the greatest Centre backs ever to come out of South America, was amazing in the air for such a short player(5'7), at one point was the highest scoring defender in world football with 140 in 447 club games and 22 in 70 international games. Also had a hardman reputation, was famous for using his elbows on opponents when the referee wasn't looking. http://i.cdn.turner.com/sivault/si_online/.../0703_large.jpg My formation so far Zoff RB Beckenbauer Passarella Brehme Deschamps Matthews CM CM LM Muller

The Emad Metab deal is still dragging on, Johnson went to an Egypt international where he scored 2 goals(Metab not Johnson) in an effort to persuade him to join, we even gave him a City DVD.

I'll pick my Defensive Midfielder before the good ones are gone. Didier Deschamps Captain of France's great 98-2000 side, France's first(and best) water carrier in midfield. http://www.geocities.com/Colosseum/7366/ata1.jpg
