http://www.bcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~687793,00.html Bridges,Ward and Goater would all fit the criteria, I doubt Gillespie is very happy with this.

I think Arsenal preferred Baptista and Hleb for a few million more, I'm guessing they had a 20 million transfer budget so with the vieira money they should be able to get a good Gk and a couple of French/African youth players(worked with Clichy and Toure) Edit: Nice signing, if Steve Cotterill wanted him that's good enough for me. http://www.bcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~687445,00.html

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ity/4693077.stm Would be nice if he did, last year we were expecting a lot from him after his scoring record at Liverpool Reserves and 7 in 3 during a trial spell. Edit: Seeing Andy Cole about to move again reminds me of the failure to not include a sell on fee in the sale to Newcastle, what a stupid Board we had then.

How big's your 1st team squad? all we have is 19 outfield players and 1 GK.

http://www.bcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~684876,00.html Guess I was wrong on the fee being less than expected, doubt we'll spend much of it but at least it reduces our debt.

http://www.bcfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~683809,00.html I'd be happy if there was a 25% Sell On Clause involved(unlikely), the Undisclosed bit worries me, usually a sign of a lesser fee than expected.

http://www.swfc.premiumtv.co.uk/page/News/...~682888,00.html Not really schocked by this, can't blame him for wanting to to play in the Championship if it happens.

To be honest there's not a lot of difference between our leagues, Brighton and Crewe are no better than Huddersfield and Tranmere. Edit: Not many teams go straight back down any more(although we did because of a Boardroom cock up) and I can't see that happening this season.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ton/4641559.stm Watch out for him next year, if you get him on one of his "on days" you'll be in trouble, with our luck he'll do a Rosenior and end up a Premiership regular within 2 years. Edit: Hope none of you are affected by todays events.

Would find it difficult to limit it to 10 and impossible to put in order. Midnight Express(Lane/Eaton version) Hart Foundation British Bulldogs Demolition Rockers Windham/Rhodes Road Warriors Benoit/Malenko Steiners Dangerous Alliance(any combination really, had a lot of good 6/8 man tags on Worldwide) Doom Williams/Gordy Demolition Rougeaus Edit: Sadly I've only seen WWF, WCW(Worldwide from 90-92 and 96-01 with odd tapes like GAB 89 and Capital Combat 90) and limited ECW(00-01) so my list is heavily WWF 80s biased.

We've had a bid for Graham Coughlan accepted by Plymouth, I hope we get him to join us before Sturrock gets a chance to sign him. Edit: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...own/4652879.stm He would never have joined Rovers in a million years.

How about Juan Ugarte? he'd be a decent signing for you, his wages can't be that bad if Crewe are talking with him.

We finally flogged the Doc today, QPR will regret it soon enough, he has a deserved rep for enjoying the Fags and Booze, has only averaged 30 games a year and gets exhausted at the hour mark.
-
DDP: 96 - 97, went from a feud with Chavo Guerrero Jr. over a ring to a feud with Randy Savage.

They are a pretty good team, they should easily finish mid table L1, a couple of astute signings and they could be playing you next year.
-
At least it's not us, last couple of years we've been favourites and haven't performed. Our odds are pretty stupid as well, blame the Stewart deal for that, the main contenders seem to be Forest,us,Huddersfield and Tranmere.Personally I think Oldham being below Walsall and Swindon in the odds is a joke, Swindle have lost their only bit of quality while Oldham have Moore,Wellens and could get Beckett which would easily put them as one of the better teams in the league. Edit: Here's a look at the bigger name bookies and their odds for L1, when the scorers come out we should have Lita,Brooker and Stewart in the top 10 if there's any justice. http://online-betting-guide.oddschecker.co...902x&sid=632736

What's the silliest rumour you've heard so far? Saviola to West Brom based on Batistuta possibly being striking coach is a good one, I don't read the Sun so I'm sure there'll be loads they've "reported" Edit: Figo to Bolton's up there as well.
-
How big's the Transfer Kitty? if it's anything like ours you'll be getting more Bosmans and Frees(which is the way to go outside the prem top 10) Edit: Anyone see the Neil Warnock program last night? They showed him on Transfer deadline day complaining about the strikers he had and one of the people on the board actually thought Duncan Ferguson would add a couple of thousand to the attendance. The best bit was a Millwall game which had a Half time fight with Kevin Muscat and Paddy Kenny, when they won he went up to all of the players saying "serves you right for what Muscat did"

3 Bosman signings this week and Heffernan on his way for 100k, the board are keeping us waiting on Stewart which will probably go through when Heff's left. Edit: I'm actually pretty confident about the season but The only way I can see us going up is by finishing 2nd, we bottled every Play Off in recent memory and we always feel the pressure in 1st place in the run in.
