By any chance are you the person who put Wigley on ebay? You seem desperate for him to go. Wigley Ebay

Here's 2 sites that I'd recommend, the 2nd one is all about 85-88 JCP. Mid Atlantic Wrestling Glory Days

I think you'd be better off getting Sam Parkin from Swindon but you'd need someone with pace to be up with him. We have 2 of the best in the league in Steve Brooker and Leroy Lita but Brooker only joined a few months ago and Lita would need a few months to adapt(which your fans probably wouldn't like) Howard is playing in a team which creates loads of chances which admittedly he takes most of the time but he is 28 and is unlikely to improve anymore. Edit: We're on sky on Thursday(Fa Cup Replay) for the 1st time since the Play Off Final defeat, If we played that match right now we'd stuff them.

WCW facts, tidbits, and stuff people forgot

I've seen a match with them on Nitro, Calo won with his headscissors off the top rope, during the match Calo ended up in the crowd after a dive to the outside of the ring. Edit: The date was June 16th 1997, Dennis Rodman was on the show and him and Hogan had a no contest against the Giant and Lex Luger.

The Funk Title win was basically a way of thanking Terry for all he'd done for the company. I think that Stevie would have been a good champion but the only way I would have wanted to see him winning it was by beating Raven, anyone else and it wouldn't have had the same impact.

They were also planning on having RVD lose the TV title to Jerry Lynn on the 1st TNN show and then a week later RVD would beat Taz for the world title.

    Paul Heyman Bashes TNA Promotion

He was at the ECW arena show on October 28, 1995 and him and Psicosis lost to Konnan and Rey Misterio Jr. by count out. I'm surprised they didn't bring him in after he left WCW, he'd have been perfect for them.

You could say the same thing about Panda Energy.

    Paul Heyman Bashes TNA Promotion

It was around that amount and he was open about that. I think the point he was trying to make is he lost half the amount TNA have already lost and was in business for a great many years longer than they have been. He also mentioned the fact that he was up against 2 promotions while TNA has just the 1.

It was a set up to his heel turn, basically he'd lose every week to a Heavyweight and after the match he'd hit the ring post with a chair. One week, After a loss to Steve McMichael, he was in the ring during the break shouting at the crowd and stops as soon as he notices they're back on air, Rey Misterio Jr. appears for his match with Juvi for the Cruiserweight Title, Jericho thinks Misterio is interrupting him on purpose, Misterio says he respects Chris and Jericho offers a handshake which Rey accepts before being put in a liontamer. Even though Rey loses the match to Juvi on Nitro he gets a rematch on Thunder which he wins, that same night Jericho beats Eddie Guerrero to become the Number 1 contender for the Cruiserweight Title. At Souled out Jericho wins the Title and injures Misterio's leg.

I think he had to change the finisher because during his 6 months out of WCW Yuji Nagata came in with the same move(Nagata Lock) Edit: Mocking Austin and the WWF was probably more important though. I'm pleasantly surprised that Konnan's music video hasn't been mentioned in this topic. How long was that on tv for? All those months and yet the Disco one was shown about 2 times.

WWE DVDs for release next year

According to prowrestlinghistory.com The best of the Intercontinental Championship video should have these matches(if it's a direct copy of the video) Shawn Michaels vs. Crush, 06/13/93 Shawn Michaels vs. Marty Jannetty, 1993(they don't say which one) Shawn Michaels vs. Mr. Perfect, Sumerslam 93 Shawn Michaels vs. Jim Duggan , Raw May 93 Bret Hart vs. Skinner, This Tuesday in Texas

    SMACKDOWN SPOILERS inside

During the Invasion they had him be Stephanie's pick to lead the Alliance in the absence of Stone Cold(when he lost the WWF title). She also helped him beat Jericho twice and got him a match on Raw against the Rock the night after Unforgiven. Edit: All this happened in the space of a few weeks, they seemed to be hinting at RVD being Stephanie's Favourite member of the Alliance.

They were one of the few teams who got a clean win over the Steiner Brothers(Nitro in october 97) and had a great move which involved meng backdropping a guy into a Barbarian powerbomb. Edit: apart from Faces of Fear, Doom and Doc and Gordy can anyone else recall a clean Steiners loss in NWA/WCW?

Here's one, who was responsible for the initial push of Alex Wright? I'm guessing it was Flair because just over a year later when Flair was off the booking team he was in a short lived team with Joe Gomez and The Renegade(complete with promo video) and was jobbing every week. Can anyone remember Lex Luger missing a title match against the Giant and the next week making sure of his title shot by camping out the night before? It was sometime in May 96. Did anyone else enjoy the Flair/Savage feud in 96? Flair having a banquet table at Nitro's was great.

The Sting DDP match was a good match made better by the crowd who were really into Sting. The lucha tag was ok but the crowd didn't really seem into it which was weird since La Parka was involved. The Hart/Sting brawl was 10 times better than the Halloween Havoc match and reminded me of some of the Hart/Austin stuff, It made the Hogan/Warrior and Nash/Hall feuds look weak in comparison. Edit: I'm guessing the 4 way match was good as the LWO vs. Kidman and Misterio feud had some good matches and 1 really good tag on a Nitro in December with Eddie/Juvi vs. Misterio/Kidman.

What was up with doing Benoit vs. Mike Enos at Souled Out 99? it was a good match but with the angle they were doing at the time one of the nWo B team would have made more sense. Was Disco Inferno ever an official member of the Wolfpac? Were there ever any plans to push La Parka? He was actually starting to get on tv more during the Russo period in 99.

I don't recall anything like this. 2nd WCW Japan Supershow, most likely. It was shown over here a few months ago on WWE classics during the WCW magazine segment, there was a 6 man tag on Worldwide a few weeks later with Vader,Cactus Jack and The Taylor Made Man vs. El Gigante,Van Hammer and Ron Simmons but after that the feud was forgotten.

What was up with Fit Finley being The Belfast Bruiser in 96 and then being off TV until late 97. Did WCW ever have any plans to do an angle with the IWGP title while Scott Norton was champ? Where was Randy Savage from October 96 until January 97? What happened to the stable that Debra McMichael was forming in 97 involving Jeff Jarrett,Goldberg and Alex Wright. Edit: How did New Japan feel about WCW running a Ultimo Dragon/Jushin Liger match on Nitro a few days before their Tokyo Dome match for the J Crown?

    English Football

I agree even though my favourite seasons of the prem(94/95 and 98/99) were 2 horse races. Edit: If you guys are ever thinking things can't get worse for your team look at this Hornchurch Release whole 1st team squad due to financial crisis Not surprising if their wage bill was 1.2 million a year as rumoured. As we were a couple of minutes from going bankrupt once(were saved because some players let their contracts be cancelled without compensation) I sympathise with them. Hornchurch Forum At least their fans are trying to do something.

I doubt you 2 will feel any better but we'd gladly swap league posistions. Edit: Sky Sports 2 Guide I can't believe we're losing WCW Worldwide(in january) for stuff like this.

    Favourite 'Mark Out' moments

Being there at One Night Only for Bret/Undertaker which is my favourite match ever due to the legitimate 50/50 crowd. Sting vs. DDP in April 99 on Nitro, the crowd reaction was great and yet the title changed about 2 hours later. Kane and Undertaker breaking Vince McMahon's ankle, the look on Undertaker's face when he turns around and catches Vince giving him the "bird" is great. The debut of the Radicalz, I didn't have the internet then and hadn't a clue that they'd left WCW. Psychosis winning the Cruiserweight Title. Sting attacking about 10 of the nWo on a Nitro in September 97, when he dropped his bat and they ran in it was awesome. I also loved Scott Norton beating up the Cat, every week when one of the nWo B team would go "Cat's talking trash about ya" you knew Norton would destroy him.

    Most uncharismatic wrestler ever?

Is this a joke? He was a great stooge, who's put together some of the hottest U.S. matches of all time, even before Cornette. He was great in the ring but his interviews were bad.

Face/heel turns during Russo's WCW stint

In 89 he was hyped as the NWA/WCW version of Hogan, he never really got close to that through a combination of injuries, politics and his own faults(namely, never having the charisma Hogan had) He was still WCW's top face for about 9 years though(along with Austin he was one of the 2 most over guys in wrestling in 97) and had some great matches.

    English Football

I felt the same way 2 months ago when we were 15th, a 11 game unbeaten run and we're 7th place, everything looks great and Leroy Lita is the leading goalscorer in english football. Edit: seeing Arsenal's youths/reserves made me jealous, they look great. If Arsenal need to loan them then they need look no further, we're the club that turned Andy Cole into a 7 million pound player(all Newcastle did was steal him for 1 million and a year later he was top scorer in the prem)
