If the planned Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels WM 13 rematch had happened who would Steve Austin have faced? I'm thinking British Bulldog(their feud ended just after Royal Rumble 97 and Shawn probably objected to the Hart match around this time causing the shuffle of the Wm card) but guys like Vader,Mankind and Undertaker are also possible. Edit: I'm guessing that Austin stays heel and if Austin/Bulldog happened then owen turns helping Austin win.

Your Favourite 3 WCW Matches.. (1993-2001)
deancoles replied to natey2k4's topic in General Wrestling
Sting vs. DDP(Nitro, April 99) Cactus Jack vs. Vader(halloween Havoc 93) Sting vs. The Giant(Slamboree 96) Mortis & Wrath vs. Glacier & Ernest Miller(Bash at the Beach 97) Johnny B. Badd vs. Brian Pillman(Fall Brawl 95) -
We were very lucky to get a point yesterday against Huddersfield, 3-1 down and we got an own goal and a dodgy penalty(first since april 2002).

Only the UK tape has the complete show.

FM 2005 is up on sigames.com now. The media side has improved, I was playing Everton(18th at the time) and the mirror asked my thoughts on their chances of Suvrvival in the prem, I of course said that they should be glad to have a manager of their quality and that they had every chance of survival. Some of the transfers are a bit suspect though, Andy reid cost Man City about 950,000 and Michael Dawson cost me 2 million with a promise of a friendly match in the next year.

Awful news, Bossman was my favourite as a kid.He really made the gimmick work and his matches from 90-94 were really good. He was one of the nicest guys they had and he also did a load of charity work(there was an article on wwe.com)

We've got Everton at home in the Carling Cup tonight.I'm not to fussed about the result since we haven't done anything in this competition since 89 when we reached the semi's. BTW, I got the FM 2005 demo and it's pretty good for a 6 month beta, it's going to be uploaded tomorrow on www.sigames.com and will be online for a week. Edit: Oh shit, on the Football Special they're hyping up Leroy Lita, he'll probably be off by the end of the month.

I think that it was shown on Sky Sports 1 time and I remember that there wasn't much Kayfabe. here's a review from amazon Fab Four review

A few weeks ago on WCW Classics “I bet Rhodes is wishing he was at home roping goats.” (Stunned Silence) “What are you looking at me like that for Schiavone? Cowboys from Texas are known as ‘goat-ropers’” “What’s a matter Tony? (begins laughing himself) Have you never roped a goat? Talk to Dustin Rhodes, he’ll tell you how it’s done” (You can hear both Schiavone and Ventura chuckling in the background) “Hello….hello….. somebody get me an announcer who isn’t laughing out here!” Surprised this hasn't been quoted in full yet With the deepest regrets, and tears that are soaked I'm sorry to hear that your dad finally croaked He lived a full life on his own terms Soon he'll be buried and eaten by worms But if I could have a son as stupid as you I'd have wished for cancer so I would die too So be brave, and be strong, get your life on track Cause the old bastard's DEAD and he ain't never comin' back.

They did do bret/malenko but it ended in a dq.

One of his best was against Booker T on a Nitro(which Booker won), I also liked his "match" with Sting on a Nitro in September 98(didn't start but the 2 had a good brawl backstage) His worst was a tag with Hogan against Piper and Randy Savage(whose knee was badly injured)
-
Hogan laid down for Sting and Sting made an open challenge which Goldberg accepted and won. The night after it was revealed that Sting's Open Challenge was Non Title but he was stripped of the belt for attacking an official.

I think it was actually an 8 man tag, I remember seeing it on WCW Classics a year ago. Sting,Brian Pillman,El Gigante,Tommy Rich vs. Ric Flair,Nikita Koloff,Barry Windham,One Man Gang

I first heard "Play The Game" when he interfered during Austin vs. Angle on Raw in January 2001.

Roddy Piper Tammy Sytch Shawn Michaels Jimmy Snuka Jake Roberts

And his club sides were average, Imagine him playing for the Tottenham Double team.

He probably Would have did it with Derby had he stayed there. Should have got his knighthood the moment he won the European Cup(like Ferguson) Edit: He would have been in our 1966 world cup squad had the injury not ocurred. Got this of the fa site, amazing career record. Palace'll be lucky to beat the Premiership's lowest points total(19) with their squad of players, I do feel sorry for their fans though and I'd love City and Palace to swap places . I'm not a Palace fan, but hasn't their guy done wonders for them? I remember, Dowie, taking over, he won the first two games (then lost 4-0 at Derby) ( ) Then going on this great run to make the playoffs, then win the playoffs. But if there was ever an example of the difference in class between the two divisions, this is it. The sad thing is that if Stoke somehow go up it'll be even worse, at least a team like Wigan has some money to spend. If we ever got to the premiership in the next 10 years we probably would do the same as Palace, we'd have to rely on our Youth Academy(gave us half our 1st team) and Loan Signings. Edit: My Premiership Table 2004/2005 Go to the bottom of the page, Apart from Everton and Bolton my predictions are ok(especially Spurs)

The 10 Tag Team Match was the second match on the card. The teams captained by Warrior and HonkyTonk Man was the opener. Stupid Coliseum Video.

With Pressman(Saw him the other day and he looks way heavier than a few years ago) and Walker as your Goalie's you should be pleased with the cleansheet What forward combination are you using? you should get Neil Shipperly on loan from Crystal Palace and hope that him and Connolly do what they did at Wimbledon(namely getting 45 goals between them a season). Burnley have actually done ok defensively since they bought Championship Manager legend Mike Duff from Cheltenham for £25,000(on CM it's 10 times that) Edit: The Real Madrid coach has resigned after 3 league games because the dressing room problems(Raul's said to have huge influence on previous manager's team selections) so Owen and Woodgate now might get a manager who doesn't rate them.

Ultimate Warrior at Summerslam's 88 and 92. Piper at Royal Rumble 92 after his match with the Mountie. Sting at Uncensored 97. Sting's title win against DDP on Nitro. -
I can't believe we lost 4-1 against Bradford, good job the league's crap outside of Luton, a 10 game unbeaten streak and we'll be in 2nd place 6 points clear of 3rd place and 11 points off top. Edit: Are any of our teams actually doing as well as hoped/expected?
-
I voted 87 because I really enjoyed the 10 tag team match and the women's match. Edit: 88 deserves a spot on here, the opening match was awesome and had a surprise team get to the end.

Sting got cheered over Hogan,Hart and Benoit during his short heel run in WCW.
