    Weird WCW booking

Actually it was on the Nitro before Souled out and from reading the DDT Digest report it was up against DX on Raw with their Barbecue segment(making fun of Undertaker getting "Burned" and HBK sticking a Salami in his pants) Edit: Giant was "injured" until Uncensored and the next few weeks of Nitro he Chokeslammed Eric Bischoff and threw Scott Hall in the pool at the Spring Break Nitro.

    Weird WCW booking

I believe so. That show was fucking terrible too. IIRC, the match was about five minutes in length, but the bit segments were spread out throughout 45 minutes worth of Robin Hood, making it seem like the match was going on that whole time. Who in the hell would want to sit for a near-hour of Hogan/Giant!? Wasn't it the first match that Hogan had on Nitro since he turned heel? In the UK I think we just got the match without the movie BS.

In 97 did Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart have any tags together on tv or house shows? the only time I remember seeing them in any match together was at canadian stampede.

    Weird WCW booking

Off the top of my head Pinata on a pole(about 8 luchadores in 1 match) Champagne on a Pole(Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Chris Kanyon) Pipe On A Pole(Scott Steiner vs. Sting) Judy Bagwell on a pole(Kanyon vs. Buff bagwell) Baseball bat on a pole(Spring Stampede 98) First Blood Chain On A Pole(Shane Douglas won the US Title in it) Chair on a pole(crowbar vs. Meng on a nitro once) Crowbar on a pole(Starrcade 99) leather jacket on a pole(Tank Abbott was in it) Stickball Bat On A Pole key on a pole(during the Filthy Animals vs. Revolution feud when Torrie was locked in a cage by Shane Douglas and Asya) Also on some house shows in 2000 they had Guitar on a pole matches which involved Jeff Jarrett against Dustin Rhodes. Edit: The WWF had a Doggy Bag on a pole and Pepper on a pole matches

Is JBL still the worst WWE Champion ever?

The first 2 HHH runs with the belt were terrible, he was put over Austin,Rock,Mankind and Kane but until january 2000 the fans didn't buy him as top guy.

He started to use it in the early 80s, I know he won a few matches with it at MSG.

    Coolest wrestler ever

Ted Dibiase(87-end of the Virgil feud),Roddy Piper(84-86) and Ultimo Dragon in WCW with the J Crown were pretty cool. Edit: Forgot Muta in 89.
  12. No surprise, according to Powerslam magazine Williams is a huge Wrestling fan and has been in contact with the FWA and WWE with regards to doing an angle.

If any of your teams need a win then follow our example. Saturday: We lost 3-0 at Port Vale remaining winless(we always start crap anyway) Sunday: Paul Sturrock is rumoured to be taking over at Bristol City. Monday: Bristol City win 4-1 and all is good again. As for Sir Clive Woodward I actually could see him as an Assistant Manager but not as the main man.

    Give me a good rundown...

The Hogan/Sting feud was basically: Hogan turns on WCW and forms the nWo. A Wargames match is made featuring Sting,Luger,Flair and Arn Anderson vs. Hall,Nash,Hogan and a mystery guy who the announcers thought was either the Giant or a new member of the group. A fake Sting attacks Lex Luger on the nitro before Fall Brawl 96. Luger and the Horsemen think it's the real Sting. At Fall Brawl 96 Sting attacks all the nWo by himself(because the others don't trust him) during the wargames match and then walks out causing the nWo to win. The next night he tells everyone who doesn't believe in him to stick it and announces that he's a free agent. He is absent for a month and then the night after Halloween Havoc he shows up with white face paint. He attacks some guys from WCW(Jeff Jarrett,Rick Steiner and Jim Duggan) who still don't know what side he's on and he also attacks some nWo guys(Michael Wallstreet and Big Bubba Rogers) At Uncensored 97 he finally attacks Hogan proving he's on WCW's side. From then until December he basically drops in at the end of most nitro's saving Luger,DDP and the Giant whenever they're on the receving end of an nWo beatdown. The Sting/Hogan rematch was made because of 2 controversial finishes at Starrcade and on the Nitro the night after. The title was vacated on the 1st episode of Thunder and the match was made for Superbrawl VII(becuase Souled Out 98 had Bret Hart's debut and didn't need Sting/Hogan to get a good buyrate) There was a cool 3 way feud for the TV Title between Booker T,Saturn and Rick Martel(who had an amazing comeback) which was sadly ended at Superbrawl when Martel suffered a really bad injury. Goldberg got repackaged as a face and his heel run from September to Starrcade was forgotten. Chris Jericho started his tremendous heel run and began collecting "trophies" such as Rey Mysterio's Kneebrace,Juventud Guerrera's Mask and Disco Inferno's headband. Guys like Marty Jannetty,British Bulldog,Jim Neidhart and some of Ultimo Dragon's students made their debuts at the time. Bret Hart had feuds with Ric Flair and then Curt Hennig before his heel turn the night after Spring Stampede. Chris Benoit and Raven had a feud before DDP came into it and basically took Benoit's place. There was also other stuff such as Savage/Luger,Nash/Giant(Giant's neck was "injured" causing the Jacknife Powerbomb to get banned),Savage/Hogan and Hall/Sting during January-April. For the WWF If HBK had been in the 8 man tag at No Way Out then the ending of the match would have Stayed the same but instead of Austin giving a Stunner to Chyna then likely Austin would have been hit with a Superkick.

Earliest I remember is Wrestlemania 7, by the time Raw started most of the big events(except the Royal Rumble) had announcers at ringside.

Danny Williams to turn up on Raw?

Well Williams IS from London, England and has a pretty impressive record, and is a Heavyweight Champion in the UK, so I can safely assume the people of England know who Danny Williams is. I disagree. Fans of boxing might know him, yes, but for the people who don't watch boxing, the only British boxers they'd be familar with would be people like Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn, Lewis, Prince Naseem and Frank Bruno. Wouldn't Ricky Hatton be a better bet than Williams since he's actually from Manchester?

    Most Dastardly Heel Acts

In the same vein as that, Rick Rude grinding Rick Steamboat's face into the arena floor. I remember after that incident, one of the Apter mags had a picture of Rick Jr. and a note written in crayon saying "Please don't hurt my daddy". Was this before or after their Iron Man Match? That was on over here a few weeks ago on WWE Classics, it was in March 92 and was a few months before the iron man match.
