    Best North American Match Tournament

    (4) Bret Hart vs Steve Austin, WrestleMania 13 -AND- (2) Bret Hart vs Steve Austin, Survivor Series 1996

    Ahmed Johnson...

To me it seemed as though the plan was for Ahmed vs. Michaels at Survivor Series 96 as that was supposed to be the "money" match in the Summer of 96.
  3. My most entertaining match would be Barry Darsow vs. Barry Horowitz on an episode of WCW Saturday night where they play a game of golf, Seeing Barry getting ready to putt the ball and doing his patented pat on the back had me in stitches.

    Ahmed Johnson...

WCW basically copied The Ahmed Johnson push with Goldberg.

Best Bret Hart World title defense

I voted other because Bret/Undertaker from One Night Only is a really good match which is sadly forgotten due to it being shown in the Uk. Edit: You should have tossed out the Goldberg match and included the Survior Series 94 match instead.

    The HBK Collapse on Raw

95 actually has 2 of my favourite feuds ever, Horowitz/Skip put Barry asa midcarder before his push was stopped and Razor/Douglas/1-2-3 kid was great with Douglas stirring up trouble between the two.

    English Football

Anyone watching the Copa America? I'll watch the Argentina and Brazil games even though they haven't picked their stars, The only players I know in the Argentina team are Saviola,Aimar,Ayala and D'Alessandro and Brazil's is far worse in terms of stars but at least I can see one of my CM 4 Gods(Mancini) in action and I can see some of their youngsters. Argentina have Medina(played 1 worthington cup game in a few years at Sunderland) who awful and yet they haven't picked Arca. Brazil Squad Here's the full Brazil squad and you'll see my point about "Stars". Argentina Squad Anyone know if Figueroa is the guy who left Birmingham without scoring a Goal? Edit: The Peru/Bolivia game has 2 of the best Goals I've seen in ages, I hope SKY has a highlights program.

    Most Dastardly Heel Acts

My favourite was Heel Sting pretending to be a fan asking Hulk Hogan for an autograph and then attacking.

Who's the Worst WWE Champion Ever?

One of the first 2 HHH runs could be included, it was obvious that he wasn't over enough to get the belt and yet he was all over the shows for 3 months to barely any reaction.

    Benoit's chops

Didn't Benoit have a biceps injury a while ago? He never had surgery so maybe it's bothering him.

    The Old School questions thread

They had a match on raw which Val won, after Val lost the European Title he was off tv for a while(until a few weeks before Wrestlemania) so an injury could have been a reason to end the feud.

    Euro 2004

The greek chip shop owner near me was selling large kebabs for £1.50 and the poor sod had a TV in the corner so it must have been difficult concentrating on his customers during the match.

Just picked up some classic PPVs at a store...

Personally I really liked the last 2 matches at Unforgiven 99, Jericho/X-Pac was one of the last good X-pac matches and the Main Event was a fun brawl. I got 5 videos for £15 in a closing down sale, Royal Rumble 2000(Better than I remembered),Our Time(A video of HHH & Chyna that was far better than I thought and has footage of HHH's initial Main event push complete with Chain Mail),In Your House 3(the Douglas/Razor/Kid feud rocked) Insurrextion 2001 and No Holds Barred.

    English Football

You could easily get 6 points, Leeds will be under pressure big time and are a Club with a premiership reputation yet averge Mid table "championship" players and Leicester's old timers(Wilcox,Dublin and Mcateer) should crumble if you put them under enough pressure.

    The Old School questions thread

When were the Luchadores(not including Juvi and Rey) released by WCW? I'm not sure about guys like Lizmark Jr,Damien and Super Calo but I can remember La Parka,Psicosis,Silver King and El Dandy being taken off of TV during the Russo/Bischoff era.

    Moredecai back to OVW...

Why would it help? Rey has always been the only WWE Cruiserweight booked as being able to compete with the Heavyweights.

The OAO Showdown: Legends of Wrestling Thread!

I'm glad in the UK it was released later, I was able to check reviews and decide not to buy it instead of rushing out to get it on release day.

    Mikey Whipwreck: Heel

Mikey and Tajiri would probably have suited WCW in 2001 as Misterio and Kidman's main feud for the Cruiserweight tag Belts.

    Underrated Workers......

I forgot to mention him but in 97 Alex Wright was improving greatly but unfortunatly his injury at the end of the year pretty much ended his chances of being pushed and when he came back he was a comedy act.

    Mikey Whipwreck: Heel

90 minutes? How many Sid run ins are there? Mikey and Disorderly Conduct seemed to be his favourite victims and whenever they were on Nitro or Thunder you could see the Crowd waiting for the run in.

    Mikey Whipwreck: Heel

How many matches did he win in wcw? I can only think of one against Bobby Blaze on Saturday Night when he used the top rope whippersnapper.
  22. Remember the short time when Stacy Keibler (Miss Hancock) managed El Dandy and Silver King in a tag team? I remember Silver King saying "would you like me to excite your groin" to Stacy on a thunder.
  23. Rhyno main evented metal a few days after Invasion, he and Mike Awesome lost to Show-Gunns.

    Underrated Workers......

Carl Oulette was good in his 93-95 WWF stint and yet his pirate gimmick is more remembered than his match against bret hart.I also thought that the Barbarian was better than his reputation and when he could be bothered his matches were quite watchable(Royal Rumble 91 and WM VII)

    The Old School questions thread

The last PPV was Badd Blood in October 97 and his last Raw was probably around this time as well.
