Can you guys see any challengers in the Cruiserweight Division for Yoshi?

No he's manager of FC Basle in Switzerland, they knocked Celtic and Liverpool out of the champions league in 2002, Liverpool's decline started soon after as they were 7 points clear in the league at the time and soon after they went through a 11 game spell without a win. Gross actually did a pretty good job of making Basle the best team in Switzerland(not saying much since Grasshoppers Zurich are the only ones most people have heard of)

I had Bryan Robson ahead of Gascoigne,Kenny Sansom ahead of Pearce and Matthews ahead of Beckham.
-
Chris Jericho's "King of the world" and "Living legend" didn't catch on.
-
Sid Vicious using WWF stuff like "The Millennium Man" and "gimme a hell yeah" didn't catch on but it was damn funny to listen to.

All I know is that Kwang's interference backfired in a match against the 1-2-3 Kid and Adam wasn't to happy about it, there might have been a segment where he fired Harvey but his face turn seemed to come out of nowhere.

Who was he talking about here, I was thinking Terry Gordy but maybe it was someone else? The time period would have been December 97 until July 98 so my choice would be the either The Legion of Doom or Kurrgan.

Is his contract really for 1 year? If that's true then I think Santini is hoping that by January Spurs are doing well then He'll do a deal with another club for the Summer of 2005 and the season will collapse, even if the deal is longer than a year Spurs are still likely to be a stepping stone for Santini. I wouldn't have much faith in a guy who consistently picks Steve Marlet for his squad. Seriously though, It's a good decision but why the crap about being "far and away the best candidate short-listed for the Job" when most people know that Giovanni Trappatoni was 1st choice before his wife put the block on a move to England and that Ranieri would probably have been appointed if he wished to manage the club?

For a laugh we could take the player values from one of the papers and do our own Euro 2004 Fantasy team. What Paper would you guys suggest?

here's a few ones from WCW. Fit Finley winning the Television Title shocked the hell out of me. Psychosis winning the Cruiserweight Title in April 99 was a big surprise. Chris Jericho winning the WCW Cruiserweight Title the 1st time was unexpected because Jericho was basically a JTTS and Syxx was Feuding with Ric Flair.

They should include the promo from October 2002 where Eddie Guerrero was ranting at Benoit for a few minutes and Benoit just stared at Eddie then walked away. Edit: Will most likely be on the Eddie DVD.

They may win it again, but its not because they have the best attack making up for an 'ok' defence. And this club is proof of that. Jermaine Defoe didn't exactly fire them up the league, did he? No way they finish 8th. At this rate, no chance they actually get a Manager before the end of next season as well. Simply not good enough to get here - can't win away either. I nearly spat my drink out when I read this. They do a West Brom - enjoy the ride, consolidate, and come back stronger in a few seasons. Otherwise, your predications seem fair to me. I wasn't saying Arsenal's 1st choice defense was Ok, I was just saying that in Central Defence they have no quality to step in for Toure and Campbell. If Lauren gets injured then Toure may have to play Right back and although he's slightly improved Cygan won't cut it at the top level. The Tottenham prediction was difficult because I haven't a clue who the new manager is, if they could win a few matches away against the relegation candidates and win 65-70% of the home games then 8th place is perfectly achievable posistion. I predicted Portsmouth and Norwich to finish so high because I feel that both teams are capable of winning home games against teams like Blackburn,Everton,Fulham and Middlesbrough but I can't see Palace and West brom doing that.Portsmouth also have a 12-15 goals a season striker in Yakubu which a lot of the teams down the bottom don't have. In case anyone asks, I picked Everton to go down because they are starting remind me of Sunderland in 2001-2003, there's no money, they have an awful away record, their home form is getting worse and their star striker is playing on his own up front and looks like he wants a move.

Here's how I think the Premiership will finish next year. 1. Arsenal(Best attack in England will make up for the lack of defensive cover) 2. Chelsea(They need a World Class Striker to ever win the league) 3. Manchester United(I think they'll be fighting Liverpool for 3rd place for the next few years) 4. Liverpool(Benitez signs Ayala and Wright-Phillips but Owen leaves in summer of 2005) 5. Newcastle(they win the Worthington Cup but the crap defense lets them down in league) 6. Birmingham(about 9 teams have a chance to finish 6th) 7. Charlton 8. Tottenham 9. Aston Villa 10. Midddlesbrough 11. Portsmouth 12. Bolton 13. Southampton 14. Blackburn 15. Norwich 16. Manchester City 17. Fulham(They rely too much on Boa Morte and Malbranque and if they don't play well then Fulham struggle) 18. Everton(Teams finishing 17th usually go down the next season) 19. West Brom(not good enough) 20. Crystal Palace(Only Routledge and Johnson are premiership quality, the rest are either past their best or are players who try hard but lack quality)

We were the first ever Southern club to finish second in the 1st Division in 1906-1907 and our only FA Cup Final was a few years after that(that's really living in the past) BTW, the less said about today the better, I'm just glad Cardiff is only about 20 miles away and I'll say that from the City end it looked like the penalty was harsh(I saw the tv a minute ago and it was a pen) and that the game was much better if you were at the stadium whereas on TV it must have been awful.Read my post from last night and you'll see I was 99% right on my prediction.I bet the Sky commentators were talking about our "fantastic fans" and yet we average 11-12 thousand fans in a 20 thousand seater stadium. Edit:Just read the BBC website, how the hell did Knight get 8/10, no player on that pitch deserved anything more than 7.

Nick Barmby was probably thinking about his move to Liverpool at the time. Any thoughts on who will do a "Michael Owen" and shine on the big stage? I think Cassano(Italy Forward),Kallstrom(Swedish Midfielder) or Rooney are the best bets.I also think that at least one of the Latvia team will be signed by a Midtable Premiership club like Bolton or middlesbrough.

How about all those times in the mid 90s when you needed to win on the last day to stay in the premier? One time I think you only survived on Goal Difference.

You have your first Bristol City fan on your forum now.For your sake though you'd best hope we win on Sunday And now you have another! I'm going on Sunday; are you? I'll be there, I wish it was Swindon against us though because I can easily see Brighton getting a 0-0 and winning on Penalties.

It'll take years for us to beat the Buffy thread in Classics.

I have a Piper/Rude match that ends with Piper knocking out Rude with some Brass Knucks and walking out the door.

In the UK we get the game this friday.

You could also add Djibril Cisse from Auxurre for £14m as that deal was probably done months ago.
