We had the same problem with the Midfield for much of the season and relied on our defense to keep us up the top, sticking Skuse in to help Lee Johnson seems to have solved it, it's helped Lee play to his best and we've kept 3 clean sheet in a row.

What happened to Prutton going back? For us Kevin Betsy from Wycombe is a done deal for 150k and should be announced soon. We're being touted as best chance for an upset tomorrow, we've got McCombe suspended, Jevons injured, Andrews and Wilson cup-tied and Brooker 50/50 to make it(we hear that every week) With it being a feature match on MOTD, I'm expecting someone to do a Cotterill and play out of his skin knowing the window is about to shut.

We're in the JPT Southern Final, Enoch and Andrews scored. We play 2 matches against Shrewsbury or that Blue and White side down the road, getting Rovers would be best for financial reasons but would be the more difficult of the two(we should still win though)
-
3-0 win today at Oldham. Enoch scored, Hit the post and missed a pen. McAllister scored his first for us. Wayne Andrews on his debut hit the post, missed a 1 on 1 and scored a tap in.
-
Brought Wayne Andrews in from Coventry for a month, they wouldn't let him go to any Championship clubs and he's obviously seen us play twice in the last few weeks. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...yle/6272621.stm One to look out for, made his debut for the Gas as a 15 year old before being "poached" by Chelsea.

Surprised they haven't been taken over yet, that's what happens now to underachieving premiership clubs. We've spent £127,980 on agents fees this season which is the highest in the league, sounds bad until you see the transfer fees we paid. Fontaine was a Bosman with a small fee and sell on because Fulham offered a new deal and he was U23 McCombe was 55k because of a release clause in his Lincoln deal Enoch was Bosman from Luton Jevons and Weale were Bosman from Yeovil McAllister and Johnson were free Transfers with sell on clauses from Hearts

Going by the rules, they should be deducted 3 points for not fulfilling a fixture. Our FA Cup match with Boro is going to be one of the feature matches on MOTD, the prize money of 98k has covered the cost of Brian Wilson and a possible loan striker with Jevo out for a few weeks. Arsenal Youths did win, hope the game is played after Plummer's 17th on Jan 30(when he signs his pro contract) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/6272765.stm Looks like we could have the Rugby team sharing the stadium, wouldn't be a problem as long as they look after the pitch.

Nice comfortable game tonight, for some reason Coventry tried long ball tactics against Carey and McCombe. We also beat Chester 4-0 in the Youth Cup, next round is probably the Arsenal Youths who haven't lost a game this season.
-
We won 3-2 after being 2-0 down, the defence is getting worse but our forwards are making up for it. We've conceded first in our last 6 games and haven't lost any, wish Gary would give his Half Time rocket before the game.

Signed Brian Wilson from Cheltenham for an "Undisclosed fee", he can play RB/RM/LM and was wanted by Gradi and Holloway. In exchange they've took Scott Brown on one of those "Emergency Loans" which should be made permanent if he doesn't get a better club in for him. Cheltenham now have Bell,Gillespie,Spencer,Odejayi,Scott Brown(GK) and Scott Brown(CM,LM) who used to play for us.

Coventry at Home, Johnson thinks we're underdogs and Adams thinks Coventry are.
-
We don't really try to get important players this time of year, last year we got in a 3rd choice GK and failed in bids for Michael Reddy(cost too much) and Jermaine Easter(terms were agreed but Gary didn't like his attitude) This year so far we've got a 3rd choice GK on loan from QPR. I'm expecting an offer for Wilson(turned Spurs and Everton down already) Artus or Plummer, those 3 really stand out when you watch the Reserves and the Youth Team.

2-1 against Port Vale, last 3 games we've scored 2 second half goals to get points. Brooker got his first since the prison sentence, he always performs against his old team. P GD PTS 1 Scunthorpe 25 18 48 2 Nottm Forest 25 15 48 3 Oldham 25 19 45 4 Bristol City 25 10 45 Not bad considering we desperately need a Winger and Midfield Tackler.
-
2-2 at Cheltenham, McCombe got a 90th minute equaliser, we're starting to turn the away defeats into draws. 1 Nottm Forest 44 2 Scunthorpe 42 3 Bristol City 41 4 Oldham 39 5 Swansea 36 6 Tranmere 36 Pld44 W23 D10 L11 F66 A40 Pts79 Our 2006 league stats so far, only 2 of the losses were at Home.

Chelsea's debt was 90m, they only reached the Champions League by beating Liverpool on the final day of that season, had they lost that match then Gallas and Terry would have been off and Roman would probably have picked another London club. Real were 170m in debt a few years ago, they sold their training ground to the government for 300m. Last month they signed a 7 year $1.41bn tv deal.

Tristan Plummer, off to Arsenal and "the Next Theo Walcott" if you value the Daily Star's opinion.
-
1-0 win today, Murray scored after 15 seconds, Scunthorpe lost at home last night so we're now 2nd.
-
Won 3-2 against Fulham to reach the last 32 of the Youth Cup. We play Chester(beat Spurs) at home(again) next round, think we could actually get to the last 4 if we keep getting home games.
-
http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...s+future+doubts How's he been for you?
-
There's a chance we could be at Wembley next year in the JPT Final, a few games will have to be played there(to check the security) before the FA Cup Final.
-
Think 2nd place in your division is up for grabs, Birmingham really should finish champions with Larsson, Bendtner and McSheffrey. Not sure if anyone saw Sky Sports News Saturday morning, Gary Johnson was the voice and name to the Powerade adverts. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/fa_cup/6214634.stm Jevo got player of the round for the FA Cup, got over half the vote.

Got a 1-1 at Rotherham, next 6 games looks like this. Millwall...H...(20) Chelt.....A...(23) Bmth.....H...(21) Vale......H...(12) Orient...A...(22) Tran.....H...(4) Should be aiming for at least 15 points, would settle for a draw in one of the away games if it means a win in the Tranmere match.
-
Have they even bothered to stick his name on there? As we're playing Rotherham tomorrow I'll share a great quote from Shaun Goater on Talksport while promoting his book "Feed the Goat" "When we moved to Bristol from Rotherham, I really started to enjoy my football. I was happy moving to Bristol as it was near the sea. We could see and hear seagulls. The weather was warmer. Bristol seemed a little like Bermuda to us after living in Rotherham. My football went from strengh to strengh as I was happy in Bristol." If Bermuda ever becomes a footballing power we'll be unstoppable.

That's almost word for word(swap fantastic youth academy for new board) what was said when Gary joined us. He even turned down a "Big" Championship club with great Training Facilities to join us. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...vil/4122424.stm

How did you get Davies to join your club? he seemed like he'd move up a division in the summer. MS has finally took the money and had his contract ripped up, should join Yeovil on the first of January.
