Yeah I read it and while I could see things from Foleys point of view in his book, here Ric just seems bitter which is understandable really but theres no need to bring up your anger towards someone else in an public interview unless you've got a legitimate complaint.
-
I'm not quite sure why Ric decided to have a go at Foley in this interview, sure we know that Foley's not a great wrestler as such but thats never where his appeals lied. Foley's a hardcore brawler which is what some people like but then again some like 'real' wrestling with guys like Flair. Theres a pretty good example of what I mean coming at Backlash, Foleys having a match with Orton thats been built up to be a bloody brawl while the Triple Threat match is going to be a pure wrestling match (and though it dosn't apply here theres also the cruiserweight high flying types of matches as well). The idea is that by having all different types of matchs on PPV you're going to attract a wider audience.

Chris Benoit vs. Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels Who I want to win: Benoit Who will win: Benoit - Having Benoit lose would be downright moronic (edit: I'm sure there's some irony in spelling moronic wrong somewhere ), he's just starting off on a nice championship run and I've got just enough faith in the WWE that they won't cut his legs off. After he wins he can fued with Shawn for a while so I'll predict Benoit pins HHH... sorry I was just off in some fantasy land for a second there Randy Orton vs. Mick Foley Who I want to win: Foley Who will win: Orton -If the weren't for the IC title I'd be pondering a bit more about this but as it is Orton goes over after taking an absolute shitkicking of the highest order. Victoria vs. Lita Who I want to win: Victoria Who will win: Lita - Litas been on TV, Victoria hasn't. End of story. Handicap match Chris Jericho vs. Christian & Trish Who I want to win: Jericho Who will win: Jericho - Jerichos gonna win this one but he'll pin Trish to keep Christian strong. Edge vs. Kane Who I want to win: Edge Who will win: Edge by DQ -I'm gonna agree with Choken One, both guys can't afford a loss here and thats what DQ finishes were invented for. Shelton Benjamin vs. Ric Flair Who I want to win: Benjamin Who will win - Benjamin - Benjamins started getting a huge push so I don't think Flairs gonna be winning this one unless Batista interferes but hopefully better sense shall prevail. Tajiri vs. Coach Who I want to win: Tajiri Who will win: Tajiri - Tajiri wins but ends up being attacked afterwards, hopefully by someone who can actually wrestle.

Maybe Kurt will get amnesia and this is the cue for Lost in Cleveland 2004.

Nope I've been a twig since birth (well not since birth, I was amazingly chubby as a baby) and my body just dosn't seem to want to fill out no matter what I eat or how much I work out. 112 pounds 4 LYF.

There is no way that TNA could afford to pay for Austin AND Goldberg, even for one night. Plus you've got the issues with JJ.

Who are going to be the next champions?
Superstring replied to Youth N Asia's topic in The WWE Folder
RAW World: HHH IC: Shelton Benjamin Tag: It'll probably end up being some thrown together team so I can't really predict this one Womens: Molly SMACKDOWN World: Umm... Undertaker? US: Booker T Tag: Dudleys Cruiser: Rey I really couldn't think of more than a couple of people who should win each title, even worse I couldn't take anyone aside from 'Taker as a serious threat to Eddie at the moment. -
Who's Your Favorite WWE Wrestler?
Superstring replied to UseTheSledgehammerUh's topic in The WWE Folder
Rey Mysterio I just find find it amazing to watch how he can do some of the stuff he does with such ease and hes not just a spot artist either, the guy can really wrestle and get a crowd going. -

'Defendent Flair wore a jeweled cape but was naked underneath and "flashed" his nakedness, spinning his penis around' ...its an interesting image I'll say that at least but alegation h could cause quite the shitstorm if this hits the mainstream press 'As Plaintiffs and other flight attendents walked down the aircraft's aisles other wrestlers...gave them needles to dispose of' Edit: And I've just spotted this The sexual harassment suit against WWE was filed so late after the actual incidents due to the fact that the flight attendants feared that they would lose their jobs. The company, SportsJet, is currently being investigated by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Credit: PWInsider.com

Brock Lesnar still has another five years left on his WWE contract which has put WWE in the power position in terms of negotiating his release. Brock parted ways with super agent Barry Bloom after Bloom got him his original WWE contract. It seems likely right now that WWE will not allow him to work for any other pro-wrestling or shoot fight company for the next five years. WWE is expecting Brock to return if he is unable to land a job in the NFL. Despite what some think, Lesnar is not financially set for life. He is very young and spent money freely during the last year or so on expensive cars and other "toys." At this point, these appear to be the nine reasons why Brock Lesnar left WWE: 1. His travel schedule. Brock has always been a farm boy and he could not handle the hectic schedule, waking up in hotel rooms everyday, etc. 2. He didn't love pro-wrestling. Brock got into wrestling for the money. He actually hated pro-wrestling when he was a standout amateur wrestler. 3. Right or wrong, he really feels he can make it to the NFL. Brock misses being involved in a "real sport." 4. He thought WWE did not appreciate him enough. Brock was not happy with how he was being booked and that he had to drop the WWE Title to a "little guy" like Eddie Guerrero. He wanted a long title reign. Having to work matches against Bob Holly in South Africa made him feel even more demoted. 5. His personal life. Brock is currently living with his young child and the child's mother, while dating Sable. His personal life has added a lot of stress and anxiety. 6. He was embarrassed that walk up ticket sales to WWE house shows went up after he dropped the WWE Title to Eddie Guerrero. 7. He did not want to feud with the Undertaker. 'Taker had been telling people that he would "set Brock straight" and humble him if he didn't show veterans respect. 8. He did not want to end up with serious injuries or be a cripple. He did not like that wrestling had no off season where he could rest his body. 9. He had nothing left to prove. He had already reached the top of the wrestling industry and thought the only place he would go now is down, then back up to where he had already been. He wanted a new challenge. Oh well, Vince was always going to catch on that the UK was willing to pay for PPV's sooner or later.
-
I really hope Vince makes Kurt take a LONG holiday NOW, maybe they can work something into the draft lottery to get him some time off.
-
The Brain?? Would someone like to explain that to the newer board members like myself.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/asia-pacific/3550517.stm The President got real lucky by the looks of it. And I'm sure if it did turn out to be China, France would be smart enough to cancel all relations with them.

Definitely could do with losing a few of the moving gifs, maybe instead of using them to break up each section how about using a still picture instead that has the title of each section - Recent Updates, Pick of the Month, etc. How about a different background, it just seems a little bland to look at with all the blank area on the right. And the menus very nice but how about some rollovers for the links, just so they change colour when you put your mouse on em or something. Hope that gives you a few ideas!
-
Seems a bit too obvious for Big Show to win, either way this looks like a supremely crappy show.
-
I'd be at a bar or something but I live in the UK so no-one would show it because it starts at midnight. I don't mind whether I see it or not, it'd just be nice to watch thats all

The One and Only WrestleMania predictions thread
Superstring replied to The Ghost of bps21's topic in The WWE Folder
1. World Title (Raw) Chris Benoit vs. Shawn Michaels vs. HHH © Should Win: Benoit Will Win: Benoit, just because its my birthday tomorrow and it'd make a nice present 2. WWE Title (Smackdown) Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero © Should Win: Eddie Will Win: Eddie 3. Handicap Match : Mick Foley/Rock vs. Ric Flair/Batista/Randy Orton Should Win: Rock & Sock Will Win: Rock & Sock but the match seems a bit strange to me for some reason, I think something might go down in this match but I've no idea what 4. Kane vs. Undertaker Should Win: Undertaker Will Win: Undertaker (duh) 5. Fatal Four way for the WWE tag titles (Smackdown) – APA vs. WGTT (Haas/Benjamin) vs. Basham Brothers vs. Rikishi/Scotty 2 Hotty © Should Win: TWGTT Will Win: They're the only team whos got any real promos leading up to the match so its gotta be TWGTT 6. Fatal Four was for the World Tag Titles (Raw) – Dudleys vs. Lance Cade/Mark Jindrak vs. La Resitance vs. Rob Van Dam/Booker T © Should Win: RVD & Booker Will Win: RVD & Booker 7. Hair vs. Title – Molly Holly vs. Victoria © Should Win: Victoria Will Win: Molly 8. Cruiserweight Open – Billy Kidman, Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Tajiri, Jamie Knoble, Sho Funaki, Nunzio, Shannon Moore, Akio, and Chavo Guerrero © Should Win: Chavo Will Win: Chavo 9. Bill Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar Should Win: Lesnar Will Win: Hmm I'm going with Goldberg who then gets attacked by Austin because theres a chance he might return at some point down the line 10. Playboy Evening Gown Match - Sable/Torrie vs. Miss Jackie/Stacy Will Win: Torrie and Sable 11. US Championship – John Cena vs. Big Show © Should Win: With Brock going Show should retain Will Win: Cena 12. Christian vs. Chris Jericho Should Win: Jericho Will Win: Jericho -
Cheers! Rhyno vs. Cena - With your biggest show of the year in a few days wouldn't it make sense to try and protect a guy whos broke his hand by not putting him in any matches? Rey Mysterio vs. Jamie Noble - Could be good if they get some time this week and with just 5 matches I'd hope so Eddie Guerrero vs. Shelton Benjamin - This should be good so I just hope that it dosn't turn into a match full of run ins The Big Show vs. John Walters & Arch Kincaid - Who are these two, why is Show squashing them and how is this meant to make me want to buy WM? The Bashams vs. Rikishi & Scotty 2 Hotty - Non-title I guess, makes sense storyline wise but the match will blow so bleh And I doubt thats going to finish the show so hopefully some more Eddie and Angle fun!

John Cena stated during a recent radio appearance that he broke bones in his right hand during his match with A-Train last week on Smackdown. He will still work WrestleMania XX but may be held out of action at the Smackdown taping on Tuesday. Credit: PWINsider.com
