I see the spoilers, could someone post the matches?
-
Seems a pretty blah show, I guess that puts the kibosh on the Cruiserweight Battle Royale at WM as well. Should I be looking forward to the Angle promo then?
-
All of those guys (except for Miller) can do something entertaining in the ring. Sure, some of them may not be as skilled in different things as others, but all of them have something to offer (except Miller). They should not be released. Not yet, anyway. I don't think anyone doubts that most of those guys if given a chance could get over (Al Snow is top of that list for me) but this is the WWE we're talking about here. Entertainment isn't the issue - its look and size that counts 9 times out of 10 and non of these workers outside of Bill have either a look or size that appeals to Vinny Mac which at the end of the day is what really counts.

Tajiri vs Rey Mysterio - *Punches fists in the air* YES! Scotty 2 Hotty vs Danny Basham - This just might be a decent match, I emphasise might. Bradshaw vs Shelton Benjamin - Has Bradshaw done another pro USA rant at WWE.com to get a push? Well maybe CC's right and Shelton will cheat to win. Bob Holly vs Rhyno - Bleh Eddy Guerrero & Kurt Angle vs. Brock Lesnar & Big Show - Ooh I'm looking forward to this one, It'll be interesting to see how Brock and Eddie connect in the ring - I can't remember them having a match together before. - Could be a good-ish show

Benoit pins HBK at WM and then beats HHH clean in the 1 on 1 rematch at Backlash... well a guy can dream
-
Never heard of this show before, what was it like?
-
Just picked up the Ric Flair DVD, but...

http://www.pwinsider.com/eggs.asp They're on that list -
Would have been better if they'd gone for the old fashion yellowed style like the Cactus Jack t-shirt but Micks coming back so I guess they thought better of it.

I see the spoiler thread, anyone want to post the matches? Please?
-
What the hell kind of reaction is that Either way I'm glad he realised he was never gonna get a real push and left.
-
Except for the flying headbutt theres not really a lot that HIS moves do that he's likely to hurt himself with. Apart from the neck injury he's hardly ever hurt himself in 3 years. Of course when hes against guys like Kurt and they're suplexing the shit out of each other thats probably not helpful to the neck situation

Benoits never really wrestled a dangerous style, he should be able to go for at least 2 or 3 more years if he wants to. If the WWE actually do give him the main event push that he seems to finally be getting and keep him pushed I'm sure that'll be a big thing to keep him going.

Oh for gods sake just let the thread die

WWE has announced that fans in the UK will be able to purchase this months Royal Rumble PPV. Royal Rumble is live on January 25th. The PPV will not air on its usual channel; it will be shown on Sky Digital’s Setanta Sports channel, which is channel 435. Prowrestling.com ------- Its a crappy source but worth posting it if it turns out to be true. Its a freeview channel I think which means anyone with a digital box should be able to watch, which would kick ass. Don't take that as fact though I'm just going by what I'm seeing when I look em up on the net.
-
Bah. Still great to know the Rumble will be shown though.

French fries, your nose, laughing, up in there...
Superstring replied to Downhome's topic in General Chat
I remember once when I was about 8 I'd gone to France and we'd got something to eat from a bakery. The guy running it must have decided to offload his food that had gone off cause I ended up the next day with the WORST FOOD POISONING EVER. I was throwing up every 2 hours and couldn't keep anything down so we decided to go home early. While on the ferry back I threw up again but this time the carrot bits got stuck up the part between my throat and my nose and I couldn't get it out So I ended up at home with the combined pain of having stuff stuck up my nose and the stomach acids that I'd thrown up burning my nostrils. Moral of the story - Don't go to France -
That wasn't meant to be the ending of the main event was it, I thought they finished it early because Austin broke his fingers or something when Booker T put him through the announce table.

Vs Rock, NWO 01 off the top of my head

I'm not going to pretend that I came up with this but frankly the thread needs livening up WWE SIGNS NEW WRESTLER TO CONTRACT It was announced earlier today by WWE official Jim Ross that reknowned indy wrestler Sergeant Spreadsheet has been signed to a contract by officials. "Sarge isn't the most muscular wrestler but he does wear wrist braces to make his repetitive stress injuries less of a bother" said JR. Here is commentary from his last match "BULGY MCSTEROID has sergeant spreadsheet on the ropes! it looks like it is all over WAIT WHAT IS THIS!!! OH NO SERGEANT SPREADSHEET JUST INSERTED A PAGE BREAK, RIGHT AT THE LAST MOMENT!! bulgy mcsteroid backs off and tries to shake it off! spreadsheet comes toward him and it looks like... yes he is merging cells!! suddenly the match is even and-- wait, spreadsheet gets up on the turnbuckle, steadies himself... bulgy mcsteroid comes towards him and spreadsheet jumps... and IT IS THE DEVASTATING CHART WIZARD!!! BULGY LOOKS CONFUSED, HE'S TRYING TO CHOOSE BETWEEN A LINE GRAPH AND THE X-Y SCATTER PLOT, I THINK HE DOESN'T KNOW THE DIFFERENCE... NOW HE'S DOWN... THE REFEREE IS COUNTING DOWN AND SERGEANT SPREADSHEET IS THE WINNER!!! THE CROWD GOES WILD!!!!" (CAMERA SWITCHES TO SIGN IN CROWD, THE SIGN SAYS "SPREADSHEET A3:A16")

Singing (God you should hear me butcher Otherside) Math (And I've got the U grade at AS level to prove it) General Conversation On the plus side I'm good at bowling
-
How about some of his amatur stuff? Don't know if they could do it but how about the match where he won gold at the Olympics, maybe not the whole match but it would definitely be quite cool to see it.

Rey Mysterio vs Tajiri for the title - YAY! They always have great matches, nice and long please Bradshaw vs Rhyno - Gawd Cena/????? vs F.B.I in a Handicap match - I presume thats a handicap match, well it could be good if F.B.I are feelin it Spoiler (Highlight to Read): and they seem to be building up one of Cena or Benoit to win the rumble, maybe it'll come down to them and Orton for the final 3 Rikishi/Scotty 2 Hotty vs Bashams - If Rikishi squishes one of the Bashams heads again I'll be happy, I actually enjoy Scotty when he dosn't play to the crowd but the other 3 blow so meh Los Gurreros vs WGTT - Huzzah! But it'll prolly be overshadowed by the Chavo storyline Bob Holly vs Big Show - Thats the main event?!?

And the best WWE PPV theme for 2003 was...?
Superstring replied to Lil' Bitch's topic in The WWE Folder
'Price to Play' by a country mile And though its overused now and too short, the remixed part of 'The End' is kickass -
Can't wait for that one If Foley comes back for a tag match at WM XX he's only going to be doing it for the money. He's broken down and theres no way that hes ever going return to his former quality. I suppose Foley would use the Ed McMahon logic from his book again for doing it but come on Mick! You can live off your book sales for the rest of your life now - give up coming back to wrestling 'just one last time' before nobody gives a shit about you anymore. And whats scary about the Austin return is that Steve said he had a part in writing it! Must have really streched his creativity to come up with the sheriff idea.
