Bases loaded, and no outs for the Braves in the 9th down by 1. Francoeur grounds out to Wright (fc to home). Andruw Jones grounds into a double play.

I don't see SuperBad doing less than 20 million during it's opening weekend, with strong success afterwards similar to Knocked Up. You got the screenings, Seth Rogan becoming a star, word of mouth, and all the great summer flicks have been released. It should do pretty well.

Well if they're steroids..they did exist. And if he beat the system, it's an assumption.
-
So now you're allowed to make shit up?
-
Personally, I like Bonds more as the HR King. He did it in less games, and he's a better player than Aaron was. Yeah he took steroids, or accused or whatever, but that's still impressive.

Well, they get endorsements too. But it's like if you're way over the cap, and you're still making mad money, what would it hurt to take a little money for like a year or two? Sure they haven't made great moves, but lets not act like they are solely responsible for what's going on. And it's taking for granted that you need to make 18 million or so a year that's part of the problem.
-
Sometimes it's hard to bitch if you're making like 100 million dollars over several years. Didn't Jordan like only take a million a year till they built a team around him?
-
Joba Chamberlain got called up. Not sure who was sent down though.
-
He's Jax from Mortal Kombat.

^ TK was Harley's sister. Yeah, I liked Harley too. The one that was in most of the episodes, cause there was another Harley for a little bit. I also liked Griff and Mr. Turner. It did get a little too dramatic in the college years, but Eric and Jack were cool

One time I ate a chicken hot dog and I couldn't eat hot dogs for a while. Shit tastes nasty.

Bill Simmons wants to be asked for the job. He should get it.

Isiah made it pretty clear that Lee isn't going to get traded for Artest. If the trade takes place after August 28, it will include Jones and Dickau's expiring contracts. If not, it will be some combo of Jeffries, Nate, Q, maybe the rookies, or something like that. I don't think Curry will get traded, so atleast Artest makes up for some defensive inefficiencies they have. You could always run a defensive lineup with Lee at center (he's not much of a defender either but he's active) with Balkman and the 3/or/4 and Artest taking up the other spot. I want him here more for his defensive abilities, but if he can score, that's cool, but just off of Randolph and Curry. So I agree with most of what you said.
-
According to Bucher, Ron Artest is going to be a Knick and they're working out a deal.

Well, DeJesus has been injured a bit. If you look at Bernie William's first few years, they're very similar to Cabrera's too. I'm not saying he'll become Bernie, but what I am saying that it doesn't necessarily mean he'll become David DeJesus either. All I'm saying is that he's producing at a young age, and has the tools to play centerfielder.
-
Yes, but DeJesus is hitting his prime, while Melky still has like 5 years to get there.
-
What's next? Bill Buckner so good defensively he missed a grounder? That shit was like two years ago. Bill Buckner was an over the hill hobbled cripple at that point while Melky was an idiot. Melky is an average defensive OF. He's not terrible out there by any stretch but from the sounds of the Yankees fans here you would think he's in the top 5 at his position. Looking around baseball-reference.com the closest player I could find to matching Melky in the majors right now is David DeJesus. He's an above average defensive center fielder (strong ass arm, very good range), and he's solid with the stick at the age of 22. Last I checked, DeJesus is not 22.

Mayor Bloomberg.

You're overreacting worse than Tom Glavine's wife. Did you guys see the look on her face after Mota blew the game for Glavine?

The top part of Christina Aguilera's middle finger in Milky's avatar is pretty inflated. Looks funny.

Don't count out the Knicks. No, "HAHA THE KNICKS ARE THE SUXORZ" isn't going to get by as an argument. Randolph gives them something every night at the PF spot, which they didn't have last year. The core of the team is still young and improving, and I'm sure Isiah has one more move up his sleeve with the roster size at 17 (probably Artest). The Sixers finished off strong last year too.

He leads the league in range factor for centerfielders, and he's fifth in zone rating.
