JD Drew isn't that much better than Damon. He doesn't run the bases better than him, but he does hit for more power. And team guys are underrated. Damon seems like a good guy for the Yankees, and look at the way the Red Sox fell apart last year (yeah I know pitching had something to do with it), but looked how much Crisp sucked ass and how much of a downgrade he was from Damon. Drew is good, but I really haven't seen Dodger fans really that pissed to see him go.

Drew doesn't seem like the type of guy that would fit in a place like Boston, or New York. Then again, he doesn't look like he gives a crap half the time, so maybe it won't matter.

The headband rule is stupid. If he was serious about it though, and really wanted to wear it, he should. Paxson wouldn't be too happy with Ben sitting out each game because of this while he's getting paid 15 million or so a year.

Whatever on the Igawa bid. I don't know much about the guy, but even if he's not as good as Daisuke, it's still not even close to how much the Red Sox bid for a guy who didn't put like insanely better numbers than Igawa in Japan.

Paul O'Neill!!!!!!!!!~(#)@#!_$

What the hell? We just beat the shit out of Boston, Miami, and Washington.

Renaldo Balkman is the bastard son of Dennis Rodman and Booker T.
-
I wanted him to get the triple double, but still a nasty stat-line. 11 points, 13 boards, 8 assists.
-
The Yankees need to extend Robinson Cano and Chien-Ming Wang as soon as possible.
-
1) He was still average, and the fact that he's a shortstop makes him more valuable than Morneau at 1st base. 2) Morneau's stats are inflated because of the lineup around him. Everyone likes to talk about how the Yankees are full of all-stars, when Morneau had Mauer and Cuddyer batting in front of him, and Hunter behind him. If that doesn't help, I don't know what does. 3) Maybe, maybe not. Jeter was the most consistent hitter on the team throughout the year, at times where Damon, Giambi, and A-Rod went through major slumps. Morneau being replaced by an average 1st baseman wouldn't kill the team too much either when you still have Mauer, Cuddyer, Hunter, Santana and Nathan on the team.

Maybe if they keep Kendrick at 1st, and start Izturis at 3rd, that wouldn't be half bad.
-
If they get Manny Ramirez.. 2B: Chone Figgins CF: Gary Matthews Jr. RF: Vladimir Guerrero DH: Manny Ramirez LF: Garrett Anderson SS: Orlando Cabrera 1B: Howie Kendrick 3B: Maicer Izturis C: Mike Napoli Geez. With that pitching staff..
-
Gary Matthews Jr. is officially an Angel. As previously posted, 5 years, 55 million.

It worked with Indy in a tied game..why not again this week, if the team is confident they could get it done? Sometimes you have to take chances.

Boring ass conservative Herm Edwards play not to lose book eh?
-
I like the onside kick call. Sure as hell better than doing nothing.
-
That's because everyone else is bashing him. Someone has to defend him. And I have bashed him at times, just not too explicitly.
-
Same way I feel about everyone else that's not a Knick fan. Even those naiwf is an ass sometimes when it comes to that stuff, atleast he's a fellow Knick fan.
-
For 3 years, that isn't that bad.
-
That's because A-Rod was actually the better choice. And if he wasn't, which he was, it was far closer than this bullshit of a result.

This upsets me more than I thought it would. Stupid shithead writers piss me off. I thought Morenau's OPS would atleast be well above Jeters, but it's barely higher, with Jeter stealing 34 bases. We should all become sports writers. Obviously, you don't have to know shit about the sport to be successful either.
