    TSM 2006 NBA Playoffs thread

This series reminds me of the 1997 Miami/NY series. The Knicks were up 3-1, and in game 5, which the Heat won, like the Suns, there was a fight. Well, there was like a mini-altercation with Bell, so its kinda like that. Then the Heat won a close won on the road, and the Suns won a close won on the road. And in Game 7, the Heat blew out the Knicks, and the Suns blew out the Lakers. Pretty similar. The Suns basketball I expected for the whole series finally showed up tonight (it did in Game 5 too though sorta). Barbosa and Marion played like they usually though, and everyone ran. I really want to see Kobe and Raja's post game interviews. Funny how Kobe could score on him anytime he wanted to, yet managed like a point in the 2nd half.

    Four Square

We didn't have a name for that, and no points either. We just played till there was no time left.

I'm glad I stayed up for yesterday. The Suns got back to their style of play, and Barbosa stepped it up. The Bell tombstone piledriving Kobe comment made me laugh out loud.

    Four Square

I wish I played four square, never did. The wall ball game, I think we played, but it was called A.S.S. You threw the ball against the wall, and another person had to get it off the wall clean, without dropping it. If he did, he had to forget about picking up the ball, and just run to the wall, or you'd get pegged with the ball. If the person got hit, he/she got A.and so forth to S, and then S. The person with A.S.S after the game would have to line up in front of the wall, and would have to get hit by everyone. Everyone got one throw. Another game we played was manhunt, T.A.P.S (throw the ball, tap/catch it in mid-air and throw/tap it back before you hit the ground). We also played spork fighting. The plastic sporks we got for lunch, we bent the end, and used the end to hit the front, till the front, like what you use to eat, would totally be gone. We had champs for that too. Paper football we had tournaments. We had a game called can-ass where you had to spin a can on the table, and not let it drop. Then there was also always dodgeball, basketball, football and baseball.

Actually, Nate came on strong during the last stretch of the year, after Larry Brown decided to take him off the inactive list. He was hitting 20 points left and right. Frye was better than Felton, although Felton didn't get much time this year till later on. It was sorta the same with Frye though.

If he felt that strongly about hitting Kobe back, i'm pretty sure he had to have gotten hit in the face atleast once.

Luke didn't make a play on the ball. What's the difference? If a game tries to take Nash out, throw him out of the game like Bell. This isn't a street league. That shit doesn't happen anymore. If shit like that happens, which is far worse than what Bell did, it will be taken care of.

Kobe is fake. Did you guys see him trying to act all cool after he got the shit knocked out of him? Stupid move by Bell, but if Kwame or Luke didn't get suspended, why should he?

It wouldn't have mattered. The Pistons beat them by like 100 each game. They did help them a ton in that King series though, and a few T'Wolve series', and that Pacer series, and the Portland game, and that Spurs series. Yes, they get help in every game of every playoff series they've ever played in. Of course, the league should want Miami to win as well, so your logic is pointless. Nah, I didn't name every series they ever played in. And what the hell does Miami have to do with this?

They were all over him. Just because they didn't touch them with their arms, doesn't mean they weren't humping him.

FUCK NO HE WAS FOULED THE NBA IS FIXED OMG I SAW IT D00D SCREW THE FAKERZ!!11!!11!1OPNENINEONE You're a Laker fan. You don't know how a fairly contested game works. Its alright. Judging by your last few posts, you don't know how the fucking NBA works, how many refs there are in a game, and where they are assigned on the floor, so give it a rest. It's been proven clearly that there was no foul on the play, and the highlight will be shown countless more times for those who haven't seen it, but there will always be people (like you) who whine no matter what. They kept pushing him, and where i'm from, thats called a foul. Maybe in LA Land its a little different.

No it hasn't. Like I said, they had no problem calling the foul when Diaw had the ball.

The first one was an inbound pass that was quickly deflected on a reach in by Parker, and the 2nd one, he did dribble to the middle, but the Lakers crowded him and started humping him.

It didn't stop officials from calling bullshit fouls throughout the game. If Mike Breen and Hubie Brown can see some contact, i'm sure any official from any side can see as well. What you're failing to realize is that you don't need arms to make contact. You're telling me that neither Laker pushed Nash with their body? Bullshit. It's the reason why he was about to fall, because Nash doesn't fall for no reason at all. And yeah, Kobe got five fouls. But hey, once you get five fouls if you're Kobe or Shaq, you're good, because they'll never call the sixth. Unlike Marion, who even before he fouled out, got called for a bullshit call on a clean block on Kobe.

Dude, you're a fucking moron. Watch TNT's footage from the rear camera angle aka the ref's line of sight. Walton swipes at the air twice, and brushes Nash's arm as he then ties up the ball. Odom's hands are nowhere to be seen on Nash's body, or the ball for that matter. If Steve hadn't ducked his head to the floor to call timeout, or dribbled into the same corner making the same critical mistake twice in one game he wouldn't have coughed up the victory twice. Having said that, he would have gotten the call in Phoenix, and Kobe would have gotten a foul called if he had the ball in that same situation on that court. Go fuck yourself my man. Secondly, I had no idea all the refs were behind the play. Since when do all refs lineup behind the play?

How the hell are you going to see someone touch somebody from behind? Thats like saying "If you had your eyes closed, you can see that NO ONE TOUCHED NASH."

    TSM 2006 NBA Playoffs thread

Funny the refs swallow their whistles when Nash has the ball at the end of regulation, but when Boris Diaw had it, they had no problem calling the foul. And Nash getting humped by two guys in OT, but its a jumpall, just ignore Nash calling timeout. Fuck the Laker Refs; I can't believe this shit still happens.
