Doesn't that show you that Nash made him a better player? Tell me, who has Billups made better? Ben? He's not an offensive player. Rip? He was always a 20 point scorer. Sheed? An all-star in Portland. Tayshaun? Just needed playing time. Heck, if anything, they made HIM better. 2nd, Marbury didn't play all year with JJ and in Amare's 2nd year. He left after about 30+ games in the trade. For the rest of the season, it was all Amare, Marion, and JJ, and I believe the team was 15 games under .500 with those 3. So that does tell us something about Nash's value. Third..Raja Bell, James Jones, Eddie House, Leandros Barbosa, and Boris Diaw are having career years. TT comes off the couch to average over double digits a game. Something must be up. I think it's Nash's ability to make players better again. Billups played with 3 all-stars this year in the East, while Nash played with 1 all-star in the West. It's a no contest man. Nash is the MVP. On a sidenote, SA got lucky as fuck. I expected Sac to win the next game because teams usually come out flat after great peformances. It sucks the way they lost. However, SA has had 2-0 victories and blown series before. Against the Lakers, and they almost blew it against the Pistons last year. With the crowd Sacramento has, anything is possible.

Bullshit. Billups can't run a fastbreak offense like Nash. No one except maybe Kidd can. Billups plays with the two best defensive bigmen in the league. Before Nash came to Phoenix, the year they traded Marbury, they had Amare, Marion, and JJ. They were the worst team in the league with those 3, finishing at 29-53. Nash comes and they win like 60 games. They lose Amare, JJ, and Q-Rich, and still win over 50 games. In the West mind you, so its much tougher. Marion and Amare were always this good? Well, without Nash, they didn't win much.

We'll see how long it lasts, but its pretty interesting when you think about it. 9-0 during the day compared to 1-7 at night? Somethings up.

Marcus Williams (Ari), Shannon Brown, and Patrick O'Bryant declare for the draft. -
Coles played with 4 QBs last year, so I give him a pass for last year. Moss just needed a QB who can throw it deep constantly and consistently, and he wasn't going to get that in Chad.
-
Vernon Davis will probably go to San Fran. Coles is still in his prime. But I agree that he's not a true number 1 wideout. He's like a 1.5.
-
MVP - Steve Nash Defensive Player of the Year - Andrei Kirilenko 6th Man - Mike Miller Rookie of the Year - Chris Paul Most Improved Player - Boris Diaw Coach of the Year - Byron Scott
-
Nice sig. Coles is still a very good wideout, but they can use another wideout. Just not early in this draft. There'll be more wideouts in next years draft to pair up Coles with. The Jets will take a QB or RB before another wide reciever (or Tight End).
-
He is a best recieving option in the draft, so yes he is worth a top 10 pick. Only because the recievers suck this year. Bottom line, TE isn't even close to being the most crucial position on an NFL team. So technically, you shouldn't spend a top ten pick on it.
-
TE isn't really an important position. You can win without a big recieving TE. Look at the Super Bowl champs of the past few years. Its not something you should spend a top ten pick on.

I don't know about Aldridge. No one expected Tyrus Thomas to come out this year, so I don't blame him much for that. I'm pissed that he didn't atleast top 3 protect it though. I would have loved Adam Morrison on the Knicks, although we need more defensive minded players. -

The Bobcats would be better off having an insurance policy for an injury prone Okafor than drafting a guy with no heart or desire. I saw at least a dozen UConn games this year and Rudy showed up for about 4 or 5 of them. If he can't care enough to dominate on a national powerhouse against inferior competition at the college level, why take a risk that he'll start to care once he gets that guaranteed ~$10 million to play for a horrible squad? Gay is exactly the kind of guy that leads to a GM losing his job as I said earlier. His potential will overshadow all of that. Can you imagine Felton running the break with Gerald Wallace and Rudy Gay at his sides? It's a gamble that they might take. -

Kyle Lowry is still thinking of entering the draft. If he does, as a Knick fan, i'd trade both our picks to move up to get him, even with our clog at point guard. The guy defends, and is a pass first point guard, who shows tons of heart. -

Under those circumstances, he definitely could be the number one pick. -

He's been number 1 all year till Tyrus Thomas decided to jump in. The Bobcats don't need anymore big men, so I doubt they'd draft Thomas or Aldridge when they already have Okafor, and Primo, and May. They could use another wing player. Gay can play the 2 more than Morrison can, so he'd fit the bill. I don't know why this upsets you. Gay ain't that bad. He's underachieved, but he probably has the most potential out of all the other top prospects. -

There are still workouts left, and i'm pretty sure Gay will impress people there. He's like the Marvin Williams of this draft. -

If Portland gets the first pick, I think they'd pick Morrison. If Chicago gets the first pick, they'd probably go with Thomas, and if Charlotte gets the first pick, they'd probably go with Morrison or Gay. -
I saved one of them, but can't find it. I think it was the Mo Vaughn, Jeter clutch one.
-
I'll take the players who managed over 50 wins during the season over the players who were sideshows to Kobe.
-
Actually, Tim Thomas is one of the best 3 pointer shooters in playoff history. He's played in more playoff games than Odom.
-
This is his 3rd year in the league, and hes barely played in the playoffs. Good for Mark Jackson, everyone else thats not Kobe's dick will pick the Suns to win. Not that it matters.
-
I saw Tim Thomas play for us last year, and if theres one system he'd excel at, its the Suns' system. He'll average atleast 16 points a game this series with all the setting up Nash will do for him, shooting 3s left and right, and running the break. He's a very talented offensive player when motivated, and right now, hes motivated. Heck, I remember last year when he scored like 35 on Lamar Odom. So Vujacic is Mr. fast now? I never knew the Lakers were this good.
-
Kwame ain't stopping Tim Thomas on the perimeter. Barbosa is arguably the fastest player in the league, but Vujacic is Bruce Bowen all of a sudden?
-
Diaw doesn't have to score to be effective. He plays five positions, passes and rebounds well. Whos going to stop Eddie House from getting 5 baskets in 15 minutes? Whos going to outrun Barbosa? Shawn Marion and Tim Thomas are tough matchups. Raja Bell can hit the 3. And you still have Nash to worry about. Put Kobe on Nash, great, he'll be tired out at the offensive end. They'll let Kobe score 50, but Odom, and Parker, and...aren't going to do shit.
-
The thing is, the Suns have someone who can atleast make Kobe work in Raja Bell. Who the hell is going to stop Nash and Marion? Suns in 5.
