The Good: Allan Houston's runner against the Heat in the first round of the 1999 NBA Playoffs, in Game 5. Larry Johnson's 4 point play. The Jets giving the Colts a beatdown in the 2002 Playoffs. Aaron Boone's HR. Scott Brosius' game winner against SD in the 1998 World Series. Martinez and Brosius pulling the same shit on Kim in the 2001 World Series, back to back games. The Bad: Yankees blowing the series. The Jets blowing the Steeler game; Doug Brien with 2 missed FGs. The Yankees losing the 2001 Numerous Reggie Miller moments Jets losing the Bronco AFC Championship game Knicks blowing a 3-1 lead to Miami in the 1997 conference semi-finals.

Add Brad Miller too. He's perfect for international play.
-
Fill the rest of the team up with Billups, Hinrich, Redd, Szczberiak, Garnett, and Frye. Yeah, I said Frye. He could straight up shoot. Then just add other star players I guess.
-
The thing is, you guys are posting rumors that really have no legs to begin with. You hear a fake ass 3 or 4 way trade, and post it here. Well, not saying you specifically, but Red Sox fans, you know who you are. And that shit is getting annoying.
-
See that's realistic. I was only referring to CW specifically, because he didn't seem to admit any fault/problems with the team. You actually admit there are potential pitfalls while still maintaining hope that it could all end up good. I said I like the potential, and rationalized some of the moves he made that you said were horribly horrible, when in fact, like I said, he's never gotten the worse player in a trade.

You've been listening to the media WAY too much. I watch every single game, and if you did, you'd know Marbury is one of the more consistent players in the NBA. Jamal Crawford is the top candidate for sixth man of the year, having like 10 20 point games off the bench, and Eddy Curry has shown no signs of heart problems on the court (and is contract is insured. If something happens to him, heart related, we don't pay the rest of his contract. Get your facts straight please). Nate Robinson was drafted at number 21, and David Lee at number 30. There's no way in hell they go that low after watching them play this season. I don't know where you got Antonio Daniels, but Antonio Davis, sure, he's an expiring contract, so it doesn't matter. He's also helping out the team with his leadership, so I really don't mind swapping him for Tim Thomas at all. Penny Hardaway, another expiring contract. We don't owe shit for Q-Rich, who we got with Nate. And we basically traded Nazr Mohammed for David Lee and whoever we draft this year, and i'd do that 100 times over, even if it means taking Malik Rose. I agree with Jerome James, it was a horrible signing, but at the time we needed size badly. And also, Eddy Curry will be better than anyone that comes out of the draft this year, so I could really care less. I also don't think Chicago will get the first pick with ours, so if they pick someone like Josh Boone or Taj Gray with our pick, I won't lose any sleep over it. Isiah had to keep the team somewhat watchable while rebuilding, so he had to take back some bad contracts. Ironically, the only contracts he took that are longer than Allan Houston's, that we really don't want, are Malik Rose's and Q's (who we got David Lee, and Nate out of, as well as this upcoming years late first rounder). Basically, it really wouldn't have mattered what he did with the cap with Houston on the payroll. Now you're telling me that a core of a 23 year old center, a 22 year old power forward, a 22 year old pg/sg, a 25 year old sg, a 22 year old sf/pf, and a 21 year old sf isn't any good? What the fuck kind of core has no question marks? It's part of rebuilding, you see what you have. I like its potential however, and if you watched games, and actually looked at their numbers instead of saying what some jackass like Ric Bucher said, you'd realize it as well.
-
And it's not like he started with an incredible cap situation, and a shitload of stars either. When you think about it, all the trades he's made, he's gotten back a better player. Take a look at all the transactions. Sure, he's had to take back salary at times, but he's never given up a better player. He's also good at drafting.
-
Isiah's not a bad general manager at all. The only thing he sucks at, is with the financial standpoint. Other than that, he's given this team an actual core. Before him, we were going to build around Sweetney, Houston, McDyess, and Lampe. With him, we're now going to build around Robinson, Frye, Lee, Curry, Crawford, and Ariza, with hopefully Marbury along the way (as he continues to improve). That's a nice core.
-
Well, he did a pretty good job against the Broncos. He's also been an assistant for 11 years, shitload of time, and he's helped with NE's secondary for a while (especially last year with all the injuries, and converting Brown from a WR to a CB).

This is so not X-Pac heat. It's more like the type of heat Rock got before they were forced to turn him heel.
-
..Last hope for fun game of the weekend. Not so fun playoffs thus far.
-
The Knicks are there too, winning their 3rd straight, beating Seattle.
-
Frigid, or any Pat fan for that matter, hows Eric Mangini? The Jets have him at the top of their list of head coaching candidates.
-
Talk about boring Saturday. Tomorrow has the fun games.

Kid Kash is on Smackdown!?

I haven't seen my Godfather in like 15 years. I remember him always wearing black glasses for some reason. I don't think he was blind though.

It seems like Artest will get traded to Golden State, but the hold up is the game between Indy and Golden State. Not sure who's going to be involved for sure, but one of the rumored trades was Artest and Foster for Murphy and Pietrus.

You also have agentbond's name for Arizona, in the seeding, if it matters. -
Ok, who voted for Lil' Wayne?

Was I the only one shaking towards the end of the game?
