This is too depressing. Fuck the Chargers and Redskins for hogging up QBs.
-
Gee Doctor, what else did you notice? I'll go with he re-tore his rotator cuff like they said he did.
-
Holy crap, I never knew that. Well, never noticed. Also: Wrong way: Laverneus Coles Right way: Laveranues Coles
-
I never understood the extra u. Is it Fave-our-ite?
-
He re-injured it. And the Redskins are being dicks about Ramsey. They want to keep him for no reason.

This is sooooooo like 1999 after the year 1998. The Jets lose a heartbreaker to the Broncos (after leading 10-0 at halftime), in the AFC Championship. Next year, Super Bowl expectations! Vinny tears his ACL and we're done. Our defense is good enough to scrape 8 wins maybe; depends how hurt Fielder is himself. If not, Leinart, here we come.

Watch Dumb and Dumber.
-
Thanks. Some people just don't get the pic rule.
-
Did the Dolphins lose? I'm too scared to check because of crappy ass browers.

"And he laterals, WHY! WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT!?"

Word. Pennington is throwing worse than right before surgery, although they say it will take a year for full recovery. Martin's been mediocre, Justin and Wayne dropped some balls today (Chrebet's would have probably won the game). The secondary has been average, but the DLine has been great.
-
Question, was Pennington benched for a period in the game? When I glanced over to the game, I heard the announcers say Fielder goes back to the bench as Pennington comes back in. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yep. It seeemed like he hurt his shoulder. Fielder came in, and during his 2nd possession, after throwing a first down, he fell after being tackled, and seemed to have hurt his shoulder himself. Pennington came back in and finished the game.

Was Akers crying? I know I am, fucking Jets. They had more chances than HBK at the title.

Best: Worst:

I was hoping that ball would hit him (2nd pitch). Sheffield bats like .400 with runners in scoring position, and has hit a home run off Batista.
-
I strongly doubt they're refusing.

Coulda, woulda, shoulda.

Jesus. It's the 2nd inning. Calm down, and no more whiny ass posts.

Jaret Wright hasn't had many bad outings since he came back from the DL. He's just been getting hit (literally). Aaron Small has had 2 mediocre starts in a row. Though he has pitched better than Wright.

An A-Bomb from A-Rod ties him for the Yankee righty HR record. Other than having an MVP year, he's having a historical one.

Last I checked, Rodriguez leads the league in game winning RBIs. Not to mention, with Sheffield, and Matsui getting hurt throughout the year (yes playing through it), Rodriguez has started every game this year. He's batted from 2nd to 5th in the order, something Ortiz hasn't done; making him even more valuable because you can actually move him around for the benefit of other players. Ortiz hits in a hitter's ballpark, but Rodriguez is still a better hitter at Yankee Stadium than Ortiz is at Fenway. He's also arguably just as good on the road as Ortiz with the exception of the HRs. As far as playing in a tight race down the stretch, the numbers in August and September combined as of last night are: David Ortiz: 21 HRs, 52 RBIs .311/.415/.737 Alex Rodriguez: 17 HRs, 40 RBIs .313/.407/.636 You also have to keep in mind that Alex has moved around in the lineup. Batting 2nd, he won't recieve as many RBI opportunities as Ortiz. The slugging percentage in my mind, is made up by Alex playing well at third base.

Word. They have some players (Lee, Brady, Jenkins, Hardy, Fielder, Overbay (will be traded for someone decent, Capuano, and Sheets.) They've got Sheets locked up, so it's a start.

I'm going to get like Othella Harrington with my first pick. Come on guys, lets get some non-basketball action pictures.
