"An AA-Bomb, for AA-Rod" "Bernie goes BOOM!" It's also pretty funny, the difference between the way he calls a close Yankee win and a close Yankee lost. "Yankees win! Thhhheeee Yankees win! Yankees win a tough one! The gritty, fighting Yankees! Oooooh what a win!" compared to "Strike 3, Yankees lose. So the Devil Rays win."

In the rap world, yes. All his albums up until The Eminem Show were above average. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Eminem Show was very good. You must mean Encore.
-
Andy Pettitte has been so underrated this season.
-
A-Rod is a HR shy from tying the Yankee righty HR Record after an opposite field upper deck shot.
-
I think the Devil Rays are like 36-25 after the All-Star Break. I might be wrong though.
-
Yeah, like the Orioles showed up themselves. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That doesn't count though. The Orioles have shown up in months. The Devil Rays have been a good team after the all-star break.

What do you do when you get mad at a video game?
Brett Favre replied to Epic Reine's topic in Video Games
I snapped a CD once. I think it was NBA Live '99 for Playstation. -
Alright guys, I signed up.
-
Well, since 1996, with the exception of 1997, the Yankees or the team that's beaten the Yankees have won the World Series. Just wanted to say that. It sorta ties in to the best team winning it all.

Has it ever happened before, on the same day, in 2 different games, a team down by 3, hits a grand slam to take the lead?

Although if the season started a month later, Giambi would have an interesting case. Except for the RBIs though, but that had to do with him batting 6th most of the year.
-
A-Rod has a stronger case, IMO. He's been excellent on the field (well, watching the games it seems so), so for one he plays on the field everyday; and a tough position at that. He also has more HRs, higher slugging, higher OBP., runs, and average. I also think he's leading the league in game winning RBIs.

Here's me going out on a limb. Here it goes. The Rays will sweep the Yankees again!
-
I'm pretty sure if they showed the overhead camera, it would have looked inside, and not near the corner.
-
Ah that's good. Eggs with hotdogs and ketchup is no joke. So are hard boiled eggs with mashed potato.
-
Honestly, I rather listen to an opinion than hear about how bad this is. I think we all got that memo.

DAAAYUM MUHFUCKAS DA GUBMENT OUTS TO GET MAH PEOPLE AND NOW DA MEEDA BE OUTS TO GET MAH PEOPLE TOO. AIN'T NO ONE LOOKIN OUT FOR DA BLACK MAN Y'ALLS WANTS TO BE KILLIN MAH PEOPLE AND MAKINS US LOOK LIKE SHEEEEEEIT <{POST_SNAPBACK}> This is exactly what he means to a larger extent. And it's a good thing he said what he said. No one's going to give a shit 5 months later when he says it on some regional radio station. Although I could understand if you like to be fed bullshit and thinking everything is happy go lucky with songs by Tim McGraw and Faith Hill. I'm sure that makes you feel 20 times better about this whole mess, and i'm sure you can't help but donate money because of those tunes.

I think Isiah would trade Sweetney for Curry. Sweetney has proven as much if not less than Curry in this league, and Curry is one of the few 7'0 centers who can score in the post. Plus, Sweetney is one of the 2 players left from the Layden era. Him and Houston.
-
Well, what would the Bulls expect for Curry? Because i'm sure the Knicks are on the phone right now.
-
Felix was being scouted by the Mariners at the age of 14, so he went with the team that got to him first.
-
It's not getting any better with tonight's matchup. Johnson vs. Rodriguez...I may stay up and watch this one. I think Sportsnet Pacific is carrying it. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Don't you mean Hernandez? And it should be a great game, I haven't seen Felix pitch yet.

The most Raja has ever shot from behind the arc is like 150 3s; try over 330 per year (Q-Rich). And it was his role in Phoenix. In Phoenix he became the spot up 3 pointer shooter, which really isn't a good role for him.
-
Raja Bell has never had another season like last year, and last year he played in a specifically structured system offense under Jerry Sloan. Ever heard of Shandon Anderson? Howard Eisley? These guys are crap after they leave Utah, and Raja Bell is the same. Q-Rich has averaged double figures before the Suns, he's a better rebounder, post player, scorer, 3 point shooter (He was FORCED, that was his role in the Suns; he said it himself), just a better player. Raja Bell is the prototypical roleplayer who had one good season because of Sloan's offense. I'd be surprised if he breaks 10 points a game this year. Also, Q-Rich has never had a season were he shot 350 3 pointers, and last year he shot 631! Even with all those 3 pointers he was forced to shoot, he still had a better efficiency rating than Raja Bell (14.5 compared to 10.0), and it wasn't even Q-Rich's best season. It was Raja's though. Raja is even older than Q-Rich. You're telling me that before this happened, you would trade Richardson for Bell straight up? I'm sure most if not all other Sun fans would disagree with that move.

So he was the 2nd option? Just because he was forced to chuck a shitload of threes, doesn't make him the 2nd option on the team.
