I've heard Victor Zambrano and Aaron Heilman for Soriano.

This show was great, but when it was cancelled, I didn't even notice and forgot about it. Who was his best friend? I remember everyone else.
-
This happens every single year (I think they have the best record after the all-star break in the last 5 years). If they started the season like around the All-Star Break, the A's would be a 120 win team.

So it's now courage to walk away from your responsibilites, huh? I could get into all of that, all of the double-talk in the article, all of the wasted potential, all of that. Instead, I hope he dies. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I think what he tried to say was, that since he wasn't as good as he was before, and couldn't honor the big ass contract, he was man enough to walk away from all the money he knew he didn't deserve, instead of collecting the paycheck for crappy ass play.
-
Sure, if you want to go to nice little happy pussy ass place, go to Philly. We don't play that shit in NY.
-
Actually, Tanyon pitched the day before, and he's the guy that bridges the gap. Just bad luck that Guerrero was up at that spot against Gordon. But yeah, our bullpen is better. I mean outside of Timlin, there's no one else. Didn't Schilling blow a save?
-
He'd only do that to put himself over.

I know he'll be good in the field. But I don't want to give up any young guys like Wang or Cano. If this year has proved anything, it's what we've known all along: Build for the future. But nobody thought the reality of aging would slap us like it has this year. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Oh, I'm pretty sure Wang and Cano are untouchable right now. Especially Cano. Where did you hear this; is it close to happening?
-
Depends what we give up. If it's some average minor league prospect, sure. We need all the depth we can get. He has some range in the outfield.
-
Since the Lakers are crazy about Yao, how about Tim Thomas, next year's 2nd 1st round pick for Lamar Odom and filler? That way, you'll save more room for Yao's free agent year.
-
I'll take the Jets if Gert T doesn't reclaim it. If he does, i'll take whichever team is next available.

Easily top 10 artist of all time (I wouldn't say greatest), although it probably would have been best if he stopped after the Eminem Show/8 Mile Albums. Its a shame that Encore was ever released.
-
Oh no. Just because you're behind, doesn't mean we're going down with you.
-
He didn't start saying darkness till he killed his couch. IIRC.
-
Kevin Brown was one of the 4, so he's pitching. Mussina is pitching, and Sturtze will probably pitch a game. Either way, the tables have turned.
-
We have 4 starters right now. So yeah, one more than we did against the mighty Red Sox. Funny turn of events.
-
The Red Sox are wannabes, with their road attendance talk. That's so 1998.
-
Dale Svuem felt he owed us for that bullshit strike call on Bernie in the 2nd inning; pretty much changed the inning.
-
No you didn't. If you did, you'd see the difference in overness, and why it would be smart to put the belt on Cena than on either Hogan or Matt. Not to mention that you're just one fan compared to thousands of fans who will sit through a Cena promo because they don't find him boring or bland, like you do. You think your hate is viewed by most of the WWE's fans, but it's not, so quit it.
-
Their defense is making all the stops tonight. Better hope ESPN doesn't show this; if they haven't already.
-
And we tremble at your pitching staff. Isn't Arroyo your 2nd or 3rd best starter? And isn't your clo..well you don't have a closer. With the way you guys are speaking, its as if the Red Sox are up 10 games. With our broken down pitching staff (that will be addressed by the deadline, and some starters returning), we're still only 2 1/2 behind.
-
You said that the Sox beating on Redding and May doesn't effect the Yankees' chances at the beginning. It does if they can't find SOMEONE who can pitch well enough to keep the Yankees in the game. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> All i'm saying is, they aren't going to pitch again, and by the time they come back to that spot of the rotation, we'll probably have a solid enough pitcher by then to keep us in the game. The Red Sox haven't proved anything by beating on spot starters. Brown is going to be healthy soon. As soon as next week.
-
We're getting Burnett? That'd be great. He's not like Suppan though. Two totally different pitchers. One difference, Burnett is ten times better.
-
What? I don't get you.
