Giambi was dying last year. You could tell. This year he looks like he's beefed up, so he should get more hits, and he draws tons of walks. Tino posted a .362 OPB in a Devil Ray lineup. He'll get a shitload of more fastballs this year in the Yankee lineup. Same thing goes for Womack, who'll have Jeter, and A-Rod behind him. Heck, A-Rod even had an off year last year.
-
You mean Jeter, Rodriguez, Sheffield, Matsui, Williams, Posada, Tino, and a healthy Giambi isn't enough? I'd call that down the line too.
-
Ah man. I know Coles is a better reciever than Santana, and Santana will demand more money that what the Jets will offer next year, but Santana is a huge fan favorite, and Coles left us high and dry. I don't know, it will probably improve us, but I don't want to see it happen. I would hate to see Santana go.

To add to this painful series of events, the Cavs backed out on a deal that would have sent Kurt Thomas to Cleveland for Drew Gooden and Ira Newble. That would have been a great trade for NY, as Gooden is only 24, and is already as good, if not better than Kurt Thomas.
-
My god, the Taylor trade is horrible. No first round picks, and we take on Taylor's salary. Isiah is a black Layden or something.
-
Probably. I think we're going to see some big ass trade on draft day. Either way, getting 3 1st round picks for Nazr, Brewer, Baker, and Moochie is good work.
-
Okay, the official count on the Knick picks: They get a 2 1st Round Picks from San Antonio (1 this year, and 1 next year) and a 1st Round Pick from Houston for this year.
-
Rasho is a better defender, Nazr is a better rebounder, Rasho is a better jump shooter, Nazr gets most of his points on putbacks and stuff like that. Nice little combo for the Spurs.
-
So I think I heard the Knicks get 2 first round picks from the Spurs, + the 1 from Houston. We're the new Boston Celtics with 4 1st Round Picks.
-
For the Knicks, it all depends on the draft, or how they use those picks as tradebait.
-
The Knicks made two trades: Mohammed to the Spurs for Rose and their 1st Round Pick. Baker and Moochie for Taylor and their 1st Round Pick. Further into salary cap hell, but now with 3 1st Round Picks in the upcoming draft. Eh, I don't know what to think.

When I think of baseball, I think of Babe Ruth.

I'll step up.

How can there be a "Current" all time? Current as in today...today's players that are associated with the team the most. Eh, nevermind.
-
New York Yankees: Babe Ruth New York Knicks: Willis Reed New York Jets: Joe Namath Current: New York Yankees: Derek Jeter New York Knicks: Stephon Marbury New York Jets: Chad Pennington

That's pretty funny. "I'd like to be a Red Sox or a Yankee"

He would definitely be the best reciever on the Jets. He lead the league in receptions last year.
-
Would you trade Paul Pierce next year for Tim Thomas' expiring contract (will be expiring next year) and a 1st round pick or something?

Why must Hassan scream? Benoit is right in front of him. -
After Housh, it's a toughie.

Should be opening day. Randy Johnson vs. Curt Schilling (if healthy).

If he called Bronson Arroyo a meddling kid, he'd be my hero forever. I think he called him Brandon Arroyo. Seriously.

Coles and Pennington had great chemistry, but the way he left, I'd rather pickup a TJ H, Porter, or Mason. He talked trash when he left, and left us high and dry without a true number one reciever. If he does decide to comeback though, it would be a nice acquistion, but he's not number one. Any reciever that we pick up out of the ones I mentioned with the exception of TJ Hdfslfjdkslfj, will be the number one reciever, so this needs to be done so Santana can go back to the slot and be even more dangerous.

Are the Pats looking to keep both of them? Looks like Givens will stay with those rules.
