What about Samari Rolle? I think he'd be a better pickup than 30+ year old Derrick Mason. I was thinking Samari Rolle as well, but we can use another reciever. One or the other would be fine, as we can also draft a CB with our first pick. Simple, get Rolle and if possible, Burress, draft a CB to develop obviously because Rolle wouldnt be a long term player for the Jets. Burress will demand top flight money, something the Jets won't do for Wide Recievers, and something Burress doesn't deserve anyway. I'd try to sign both Rolle and Mason, or Rolle and possibly someone like Jerry Porter.

What will the options be for the NY Yankees in terms of trading or signing a new Center Fielder, by the trading deadline, or after this upcoming season?
-
The Jets have a shitload of cap room. Once the Titans cut Derrick Mason, they should really make a run at him, with Heimerdinger as the Offensive Coordinator already in place.
-
I don't think so. Curry and Chandler, weren't NBA ready players, and I think the Moneyball strategy is to draft players who are professional ready, out of college. Although Ben Gordon and Kirk Hinrich are.

ESPNews can rest easy now that the Orioles keep their big time closer.

He has already played left field (I think it was left, one of the corner positions) with the Devil Rays. He'll fit in well with the Cubs. They need a lefty anyway, Jesus Christ i've never seen so many righties. Patterson and Walker are the sole everyday lefties. It's nuts. After them it's right-handed all the way down the line. Glendon Rusch, bless his heart, was a passable lefty hitter at times. Yeah, i'll just never forget two years ago in the playoffs when I think the only lefty in the lineup was Randall Simon, and that was a platoon. EDIT: And Kenny Lofton

Aubrey Huff is solid enough to get the job done at the corner position. Past 3 Years: .313 .364 .520 .311 .367 .555 .297 .360 .493

Aubrey Huff to Chicago? That's a great trade. Well offensively it is. I'm not to sure on Huff's defensive capabilities in outfield, although i've heard they aren't the best, he's a solid offensive player.

Well, they got Mulder, Hudson, and Zito by drafting a specific way. You can somewhat draft the same way in the NBA.
-
Sosa would kill in Camden Yards.
-
The Moneyball technique is what got them Hudson, Mulder, and Zito....

Yeah, I hate that garbage too. This song was "Holla back at me, uh uh, Holla back at me, uh uh" for the next 2-3 minutes. It was amusing at first, but any emergency would have to wait for this guy to shut up.

Yeah, with trading it sounds like there is more to it. Guess there isn't.
