WWE General Discussion - December 2008
Brett Favre replied to DrVenkman PhD's topic in The WWE Folder
I didn't say I liked the shiny vest. I thought that looked stupid too. What I meant to say, is that any other Jericho attire would look stupid while cutting those promos. -

You can't cut the promos he's been cutting while wearing a shiny vest. The suit makes perfect sense. -

Have they decided on a name for Randy Orton's stable? And is Jericho going to be in that stable? -
I love Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives. Best show ever. Yeah he likes everything, but have you seen what they serve in the places he's been to? That shit looks good. Greasy tasty looking food. I can't blame him. At least he eats the samples. Rachel Ray fucking takes like half a bite and goes "Mmmmmm" before the camera cuts off so she can spit it out. Bullshit.

When I think of e-feds, I do not think of Draft Faggotry. That should definitely go underneath where time goes to die or view at your own risk. This is bullshit! Czech is just pissed he didn't get to pick John Stockton in the All-Time NBA Draft.

It's funny. When Red Sox players want to stay, and be Red Sox, they actually take less money (Ortiz, Pedroia). The Yankees on the other hand have A-Rod who really wanted to be a Yankee and actually got MORE than he had before. Pettitte really wants to be a Yankee too, but 10 million is too little for him.

This is good, which is why Austin was so big in the first place. He was what Bret Hart wasn't. Once the good guy era is in full effect, a big star who is totally different will rise and help lead a new era. It only makes sense. You have Hogan - nice guy, Austin - badass, Cena - nice guy, ???? - badass. -
Actually, he signed for a little more:

You can't hold a good drafter down
Brett Favre replied to Twisted Intestine's topic in Draft Faggotry
I've thought about All-Time World Leaders, and Serial Killers. I like countries too. I also say rappers, and bands. -
I don't have a problem with chickenshit Jericho. Why must everyone look strong all the time? John Cena took it to another gear last week, and he's exposing Jericho for who he really is. I have no problem with this booking. Especially since after Orton hit the DDT he looked like a great heel by locking on the Liontamer on a defenseless Cena. Also, sometimes we see what we want to see, because what actually happened was Cena pushing away Manu and Rhodes, which led to Orton coming right at him and knocking Cena down, beating the crap out of him, before hitting the DDT. There was no Jericho "miracle" move from behind or any of that.

Best RAW in recent memory.

He can't catch a break.

Holy shit Devin Harris is really good. He's averaging 25 points a game!

The Time Is Now... to Change Cena's Theme
Brett Favre replied to LivingLegendGaryColeman's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm not sure if Cena is changing his song or anything, but in the new WWE Music Volume 9, there's a song by Cena named "Movin Up." So we'll see. -
Billy Costigan.

I'm not surprised by the defense playing the way it did against the Broncos because we can't defend the pass for shit (although Hillis ran all over us), but the offense should not have had so much trouble. The passing game specifically.
-
The NFL needs to do something about the "injured" player bullshit. Like 4-6 times "injured" Bronco players stopped the Jets from running a hurry up, halting two of their drives. Fuck that. And they didn't get penalized with a timeout. Anyone can fake an injury with that shit.

l hope you aren't serious. TDK has one of the better scores. Try listening to it for more than two minutes.
-
Amare Stoudemire is playing more minutes this year than he ever did with D'Antoni. 36 minutes a game isn't overplaying your starters. Steve Nash never played over 35 minutes a game. And Shawn Marion only hit 40 minutes once, so that's not really an accurate assessment. Maybe he does have a short rotation, but he doesn't play his guys over 40 minutes a game.
-
Just because D'Antoni hasn't won a title, doesn't mean he never will. He's a very good coach, who OMG even preaches defense. It just so happens he's had Amare and now David Lee being stoppers in the middle? How are you supposed to win like that? D'Antoni is the perfect coach for LeBron and Bosh.
-
What the hell are you talking about?
-
But New York will give him more money to not win a title. If he wanted to win a title, he'd try to play with Yao or Dwight Howard. New York will have enough for 2 max contracts and then some. They're going after LeBron James and Chris Bosh.
