Letters From My Cell -- by Failed Mascot
Brett Favre replied to kkktookmybabyaway's topic in No Holds Barred
What's an OAOAST? -
The New York Yankees could have REALLY used him.
-
Beneath whom, Mr Pennington? I'd take the Falcons over the Jets and Broncos. Maybe even the Colts. I wouldn't. I'd take them over the Broncos, not the Colts or Jets. Really, the only real advantage they have on the Jets is the running game, and it isn't by much.
-
The Falcons would probably be the 6th or 7th best team in the AFC.

I just walked two miles, smoking the whole time.

I'm one of the poor shmucks. 13 degrees up here in NY. -
That's why I said usually, and the Celtics have won.
-
Usually, not saying Damaramu or anyone else specifically, people that are fans of teams out of their city or state, pick those teams because they have won. You won't see a New Yorker become a fan of the Arizona Cardinals, but you see quite a few become Steeler and Eagle fans.

This guy knows what he's talking about.
-
There's no tearing apart, if the Jets don't draft a fart.
-
Brady can't be the Orton of the NFL. He's actually the best at his position. (Well, Orton isn't the best wrestler in the WWE. Whatever)
-
Reggie Tongue hasn't done anything all year. Coleman is a better safety than Tongue. The interception for a TD he had against the Steelers, was really the only big play he's had all year. But yes, Pennington needs a big TE. Rogers sounds too good to pass up however.
-
In the 2nd Mock Draft posted, they have the Jets selecting Alex Smith out of Stanford. A TE or a 6'4 - 6'5 WR would really help Chad Pennington. The Jet weakness on defense really comes from the secondary. Donnie Abraham is slowing down, Buckley will be gone, and Mickens will return next year, but he's up there in age. Rogers sounds nice, so hopefully they select him.
-
So uh..is Carlos Rogers of Auburn any good? I don't watch any college football.
-
I'm going to be busy figuring out whether the Jets will keep LaMont Jordan or not. They have already said Abraham will stay, but Jordan wants to start. I just hope they re-sign him, he'd be great splitting the carries with Martin, and once Martin retires he can take over. He's only 26. Also checking out if they make a play at Plaxico Burress. Other than that, I have no idea what i'll be doing other than watching the Knicks lose 2 point games to the Chicago Bulls.
-
He looked like a vampire or werewolf during that press conference, if any of you had happened to catch it. I'm picking a Falcon/Patriot Super Bowl. Although the playoffs mean nothing to mean now, with the Jets losing sucking the all the energy away, the Falcons are probably the team i'll be rooting to win out of the four. The Pats will beat the Steelers by 2 TD's this Sunday, and Ben will throw 3 picks. The Eagles will choke away another win, as long as the Falcons keep pressuring McNabb. As for the Super Bowl, the Falcons beating New England would be the only thing that could save this very disappointing end to this season.

Like his short Argentinian brother. They both have the same goatee.
-
Noiconi ain't bad either. He's the reason the Bulls won the other game, and hit a big three today.
-
The Knicks are pathetic. Blow an 8 point lead with like 2 minutes left.
-
I know what they mean, and I think it's really really moronic. What's the difference of being 10-6 and getting into the playoffs with a win, and 10-6, and getting into the playoffs with a lost? You're still 10-6, and would have made the playoffs either way. I think Herman Edwards already explained this. Each game in the 16 game season counts, not the final one. People seem to think only that last 5 count.
-
The Jets played a horrible game too, and nearly "backed in" (whatever that means) into a victory. When your offense manages 3 points, and still has two chances to win the game against a 15-1 team at their home field, you know you're a good team.
-
Your defense won't be good enough to hold Manning to 21 points or less, what makes you think the Falcon defense would? And i'm not trying to insult the Patriots, that's just the truth.
-
Life sucks. If you don't think the Steelers were lucky to win this game, you're just as clueless as the ESPN heads. Fuck Doug Brien.
