and the Knicks let him slip away? Come on Isiah! I'm sure the Bulls lost something in Jamal Crawford as well..just like Brand, Artest, and Miller.
-
Scott Van Pelt, because he's one of the few who's actually, you know, funny.
-
Has anyone gotten fired as a head coach in Franchise? If so what happens? On a side note, playing in the Super Bowl is great. Even though the crowd is mostly filled up with the "home team" fans, they cheer for nearly everything as it would be in a real super bowl.
-
It's hard to imagine him being not-over. Matt Hardy was never over as a face. When he was over as heel, the WWE didn't even care and just let it die down. That's not the case with Cena. They capitalized on his heel popularity to turn him face. Once the crowd starts getting sick of him as a face, the same thing will happen to him that happened to The Rock when he came back from hollywood, forcing him to turn heel. It'll just go back and forth then. But I really don't think the crowd will get sick of him to begin with anyway.

A sequel to WWF No Mercy. No, I don't consider WrestleMania 18 a sequel.
-
Which is when he would turn heel to get that edge back. It's how it works.
-
I'd rather see JBL/Heidenreich...OK, I'm lying, but Cena SHOULD NOT be headlining Wrestlemania yet. Cena's popularity is through the roof, they should capitalize on it now, like they did with Austin. Plus, who else is going to main event? JBL? It's gonna be Eddie or Angle vs. Cena, and it should be.
-
Eddie/Cena should headline WrestleMania.

I don't think any of the rookies have pictures (real rookies). Crap, I lost Pennington for 6 weeks with a torn bicep. Does that rehabilitation thing-a-magig work to speed up recoveries all the time?
-
Yanks/Expos World Series, with Paul O'Neill playing the best baseball of his life at the time.
-
Is Paul O'Neill on that list? If he is, thankie.
-
That really helps Vitamn X. I have one question though, I think I get it, but just a question. What goes against the cap is the salary + the bonus, or just the salary? Because if it's only salary, then it makes sense doing what you do with the rookies (low salary, high bonus).
-
lol. Well the draft pick thing is a good idea. U'll save a ton of money, and won't have to cut as many people. This is cap system is actually better, makes u think a little more.
-
Yeah I know what you mean. It's more realistic though, you'll rarely see many trades in the NFL.
-
Yes. You pay his bonus, his penalty to the cap, and for Jackson's contract for that year. So if Curtis is being paid 980k for a bonus, his penalty is 1.21 million, and Jackson's contract is worth 1.66 million, you'll be paying out 3.85 million. Alright thanks.
-
It's too bad Jackson left. Atkins would have been perfect in the triangle offense. I still like the trade for both teams. They now have somebody to back up Divac, Banks may be good in the future, and Atkins can give the ball to Kobe.
-
Interesting, thanks. So let me get this straight. Do I pay the whole Martin contract or just his bonus, PLUS the Jackson contract? Thanks again. You grabbed a contract in Jackson and that is what you are paying for. And you still have to give Martin his bonus money for the year right then and there. Plus lots of the players have a penalty clause. Not to mention, the contract doesn't list the bonus that player will be getting paid if you trade for him. You pick up the player, you pick up his full contract along with his bonus. So I pay Curtis' bonus only for that year? + The Penalty, + Jackson's contract.

Let the excitement begin.

Santana's always been this good, so I expect him to continue. It's always been his W/L records that's held him back.
-
Speaking of the cap situation, I might sound stupid for this, but I just don't get it. Lets say I trade Curtis Martin about 4 mill a year, 26 overall and a couple of picks for Stephen Jackson who makes much less than Curtis Martin. Instead of gaining more cap room, I lose cap room. Any reason why? Or am I overlooking something?
-
Definitely. I even have a poster of him doing the cranium crush with that mullet.

Ricky finished seeing the world pretty quickly.

If they'll all be rich, sure. It could work. Ron Simmons can come back and say he took JBL's advice, became a Stock Broker and is a new man. They can all come out of the limo with suits and Orlando Jordan can hold the ropes for them, etc. You know how much heat the WWE will take? Don't even suggest that, it's making me mad just reading it. No, not really. Why would they take heat?
