    Possible Nation of Domination Return

If they'll all be rich, sure. It could work. Ron Simmons can come back and say he took JBL's advice, became a Stock Broker and is a new man. They can all come out of the limo with suits and Orlando Jordan can hold the ropes for them, etc.

    Possible Nation of Domination Return

They should only do this idea if JBL is the leader of the stable. He'd cut promos of him and his fellows being misunderstood.

    USA Basketball embarrassed by Italy

Damn. That last play was the worst camera work in the history of International play. Instead of seeing a side view of the court, we get a replay of a half assed shot from underneath the basket. Well, good game though. Nowitzki is the man, and Iverson with a great shot.

Then you'd still have the same problem as last year.

Thanks. I saw somewhere that the Crawford trade might have happened, don't know if it's true though.

If you have Microsoft Front Page, try getting it there. Once you get it there you can get copied and paste. If not, PM some of the article if it has the Knicks mentioned.

    Funny Evolution interview on WWE.com

Randy looked very excited, but his promo was alright. Batista's was also alright but he did pause. Ric Flair's was the best "Do you watch RAW? DO YOU WATCH RAW?"

Hey do one for Paul O'Neill if you can. He might not be close but hey, you never know.

    YESN? NES?

That would kick ass. Maybe we'd get a Soxography. I'd like to see Nomar's.

WWE News & Notes from the 8/2 Observer

You probably haven't been watching backstage segments with Cena. He was as serious as you can get when Kurt was the GM. Heck, when he was the prototype Cena, remember when he bitch slapped Jericho? (Was it Jericho? I'm not sure exactly) He can cut a serious promo if he had to. Bottom line is, the crowd loves him and will pop for anything he SAYS, something only people like The Rock and Austin can do. It doesn't matter if he doesn't entertain one person, he's good enough to be champ.

    Al's Trade Deadline Column

What is it about the Expos that makes his hitting poor? And if Montreal affects his performance, then why isn't he the kind of moody player the Sox try and avoid? And if everyone hits better at Fenway, why not pick up someone who hit better outside of Fenway? If the problem is lineup protection, why didn't he hit in 2002, with Wilkerson, Vidro, and Vlad Guerrero hitting behind him? Look, outside of last year, Cabrera has never done anything to indicate he's better than a replacement level ballplayer. The best defensive first basemen are usually worth about a half-game in the standings. Its simply not an important defensive position. Cabrera also wanted to leave Montreal at the beginning of the year, so it had to do something with that. You atleast need a good defense first basemen, not the best, but good. The Red Sox before Mcblahblahblah had horrible defense at first.

    Al's Trade Deadline Column

You do need good defense at first. Look at the past World Series winners (Spiezio, Grace, Derek Lee, Tino Martinez). Defense at first base is needed, good thing the Yanks have Clark.

    Al's Trade Deadline Column

the OPS numbers on Cabrera are due to the fact that he played with the Expos. The Sox have a better lineup and he should see some pitches, + its in Fenway. Everyone hits better at Fenway.

They were better though, but you're right about playing to the crowd. He does the same thing The Rock does though, and gets near the same pops, he should be champ dammit. Bradshaw should lose the belt to him. They can have a decent match. Cena sells like hell and has those Rock-like manuervisms in the ring that hide his weak wrestling ability (like the rock), and Bradshaw's been improving, sort of. Cena's moved up to being my favorite wrestler again because of what he did for that kid. That's a shitload of money 300 bucks that he gave to that kid, and in another paragraph you see Hogan asking for more money.

    Red Sox-Yankees Series

Well good. Varitek started the fight anyway.

Coming from the guy that argued what was a sinker when I was right all along? Derek Lowe didn't smile at him, and there were two on, one out, it was definitely not intentional.

This is worst than Little League.

    Red Sox-Yankees Series

ESPN Radio says Arroyo said it was a sinker. Just reporting what I heard, not really commenting on that. Oh, and that human wall of a home plate umpire says that before the fight, they "told each other to fuck themselves". Not quite "get to first base", eh, Jason? Thank you, god damn. It was obvious that Varitek didn't just say what he said. A-Rod isn't a raging lunatic.

    Red Sox-Yankees Series

A slider doesn't have a sudden drop a sinker does. It's sorta of a sliding motion (which it's why they call it a slider) that starts at one end and slides to another direction. That had a sudden drop.

    Red Sox-Yankees Series

From here on out 12-6 curveballs will be known as "sinkers" because they start out high and then drop down. Thank you for playing, you get no parting gifts. So now a Slider is a sinker i'm guessing? It didn't drop down like a 12-6 curveball, I never said that. I said it dropped down to his elbow, it started off pretty high. Heck, there tons of pitches that drop down (splitter, sinker, curveball, some changeups, knuckleball), a slider isn't one of them.

Try reading his lips, and it's easy to figure out what he said. If you know spanish, try reading his lips in spanish. I remember doing this and he did not say i'll remember this. Remember, it took him like 2 days to figure out something to say to the media, because he was avoiding them.

    Red Sox-Yankees Series

I guess Varitek is the guy that never lies. He was yelling at Arroyo because he hit him and starting grinning about it. He wasn't wrong. He got hit by the pitch, starting walking to first base, yelled something out at Arroyo (which wasn't when he started cursing) and was on his way to first. Varitek came over and said SOMETHING, and A-Rod starting cursing and told him to bring it on. That's how it went. Anglesault hasn't said a word about A-Rod overeacting, but you can believe whatever you want. Players do things at the heat of the moment (A-Rod cursing at Varitek), and maybe, Arroyo plunking A-Rod intentionally. It's possible, don't tell me it's not.
