I feel bad for people in Miami. They think its cold when its like 60 degrees. Over here its like 29 but I haven't been out.

Eh, Thome had a good year last year, and Konerko will be like 32. Dye had a horrible start but still managed a decent year, and Swisher and Fields are both young and productive. Cabrera hits alright for a SS, so they'll be fine. I don't know who's going to start for them though after Buehrle, Vazquez, and Contreras.

The White Sox are going to have a pretty good lineup (Thome, Konerko, Dye, Swisher, Fields and Cabrera).

So which movies are you anticipating in 2008?

Add Harry Potter and Trailer Trash to my list. I'm probably going to see Trailer Trash just to see the Thanksgiving 2 trailer. Harry Potter should be interesting on-screen. -
What the hell is so bad about NBA 2K8? I haven't played it, but I'm on the verge of getting it since it's on sale.

It's horrible. Especially a few days after he said that he should stay as coach.

Rob Ryan is going to get fired by Oakland and sign with the Jets.

The Dark Knight. Everything else is whatever for me. Well, not as anticipated as TDK. Iron Man, Cloverfield, and The Incredible Hulk are others. Add Pineapple Express too. -
If we didn't get McFadden, Chris Long would've had been a good pick, but he won't last till 5th or 6th. The guy people are looking at now for the Jets is Vernon Gholston.

I mean really, like if you're going out looking for a job after getting your bachelor's degree, will they be like "WOA 2.8, I don't think so buddy".
-
Its cool that the Jets won, but what does the draft situation look like now? They're either going to be as high as third or as low as sixth.
-
You damn better respect it. Who the hell do you think we're talking about here? These guys know how to play football. They play to win. They leave it on the field. They have the heart of a champion. No one is going to tell me otherwise.
-
Quit your bitching, bro.

The disrespect here is getting out of control.

Fuck the Pat fans complaining about the ref crew when they get all the calls. "Give me the other crew HAHA!"

Kyle Korver was traded to the Jazz for Gordan Giricek and a first rounder. I like the trade for both teams. The Jazz don't need anymore rookies, and Korver gives them the outside threat they've been missing.

If you are looking for a career in writing or publishing, then you should be more concerned with building a portfolio (writing clips/etc.). In my job interviews over the years, not once has the question of my GPA ever been raised. If you still care about your grades, then focus more on getting on a Dean's List or other honor programs that will show you got good grades. One thing I can't stand when going to a white-collar job interview is filling out those same applications you received when you were in high school and applied for work in the food-service or retail industry. Yeah, and this sounds so much better than building up your GPA.

They beat the Mavericks, Jazz (I know they're struggling but they're still good, and SA didn't have Duncan), Denver, Portland (who's good now), and the Lakers.

I may have to change my major. I'm minoring in Journalism, but majoring in English. The consensus seems to be that slacking off is alright. It does worry me a little though that the person slept like 6 hours a night doing mad shit while that's the same number of hours I sleep doing the minimum.
-
The Spurs and Pistons have beaten better teams, so they're ahead of them.

House Party 4 is the one with that guy from Sister Sister? -
I'd join this but XBox is bitch with having to spend 100 bucks on a wireless router.

David Ortiz should definitely be in the HOF. I don't buy the argument that he wasn't great enough for a number of years. For the last 4 seasons he's been legendary in terms of what he's done for a franchise, in important in game situations, and as a face of baseball. He has the numbers, and the postseason success.
