Maybe, but Betemit is abysmal against lefty pitchers. That may be one reason.

I was there for the GS game and the highlight of that game was two guys dressed as Captain America and Spiderman trying to get a LETS GO KNICKS chant going only for it to stop like a few minutes later. Eventually it was back to the fire Isiah chants. Dolan doesn't care.

Just take basketball.

Favre's been feeding on his soul to stay young He's Vulture?

Good stream. Aaron Rodgers looks mad old. How long ago was he drafted?

I guess Romo is having too much fun to lose this one.

Oh and Marv Albert is really annoying. Get a grip old man.

Subjective? It's the farthest thing from subjective. Did you not read that every single batted ball is charted and recorded into a computer system. For instance, a ball hit towards a third baseman might be recorded as something like "5 feet to the right of the bag, 6 feet above the ground travelling at x mph caught by 3B." That piece of data goes into the system. Once the data is compiled, it can be used to award credits or demerits based on one's peers. If a ball hit to a fielder is typically fielded by 70% of one's peers and the player misses it, he gets a demerit of -.7 (1.00 - .30). In other words, on that play he was 70% worse than the typical outfielder in MLB. If he makes it, he gets a credit of +.3 (1.00 -.70). He was better than 30% of players on that batter ball. Over the course of the year, all plays are added for a total score. No. Anyway, field position, covering the bag, letting it drop to prevent it from getting past you (maybe not taking a risk), and throwing arm, accuracy, how quick they get rid of the ball should also be taken into consideration. What if some guy has a pussy arm but gets rid of the ball quickly, will that be taken into effect? Some guy might be expecting a bunt and gets a line drive right past him. A lot can mess up the system. Not saying it isn't reliable, but it doesn't seem full proof.

That sounds way too subjective.

I'm pretty sure the "Fielding Bible" was the only baseball stat-geek infosheet or whatever to rate him as a bad centerfielder. Others have him as an above average centerfielder.
-
I'm impressed by the Pacers. Mike Dunleavy finally decided to live up to his sleeper title in every fantasy league.
-
We're talking about Melky Cabrera.
-
Lester was a horrible 5 star commodity then cause his minor league numbers never touched Kennedy nor Hughes' numbers. He's never had great command to begin with so I don't know where it's going to come from. Cabrera is still years away from arbitration and still has some upside left so I'd put > Crisp who batted about the same, if not worse than Cabrera last year.

Ellsbury ain't much better than Cabera. Please. They both hit about the same, Ellsbury has better range, Cabrera has the better arm. Secondly, there's no way the Twins take that crap Red Sox offer. It's just posturing. Eventually you'll see something like Kennedy, Cabrera, Horne, Jackson, and Gonzalez from the Yankees. If the Twins take that for Santana, good for the Sox, but there's no reason why the Yankees should offer Hughes when the Red Sox ain't even giving up Buccholz. And you can list the prospects from both teams all you want, but even Allan Horne is about as good a prospect as Lester. Just cause one is number 4 in the Red Sox system, doesn't mean he'd be number 4 in the Yankee system.

They aren't getting Hughes.
-
Please remove those pics...ugh. The Twins and Devil Rays are about to complete a multi player deal that's centered around Delmon Young going to Minnesota and Matt Garza going to Tampa Bay.
-
On top of that he felt he had to spend all the money he had so he went and signed Marshall and Jones. It probably wouldn't have sat well with Cleveland at the time but waiting a year to see if you could have gotten anything better would've been the way to go.
-
They had a shot at Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Larry Hughes, and Michael Redd. The other two he couldn't do anything about, and JJ would've been nice. Sucks that he ended up with the worse of the group.
-
Yeah I guess you don't take the Ferry mentality option if you take LeBron. Gotta go with LeBron especially when you can build a better team. He singlehandedly beat the Celtics yesterday.
-
Question on Max Kellerman Show: Who would you rather have: LeBron or KG/Pierce/Allen? I gotta go with LeBron partly because he's a beast and also because he's like 10 years younger than two of those guys.
