Backstage News On Reaction To Heyman & Cena

I thought Jericho had all of that. Am I the only one who think so? Anywhoo...Cena was getting a monster push but the WWE did the old "lets see how he acts when he gets depushed" act that they did to RVD when he first came into the WWE. RVD never got that big push back though..hopefully Cena won't get screwed over either.

    Edge

I could only imagine Heel Edge as the heel he was when he was a tag champ. Him as a tough guy heel is just...weird.

    Edge

Didn't Y2J and Edge feud for like a month or something? For some reason I forgot how it ended, or it never happened. Anyway, if they did, I guess it would make some sense why Jericho would attack him.

    Jericho/Stratus Storyline..

    There is still hope indeed.

It's time to put the Titan Tron to bed

They definately need a new titantron, but what they really need to do is change that damn music. It reminds me of the Bradshaw vs. nWo days.

    So, what does this mean?

That means the show is 2 hours and 5 minutes long, Armageddon is coming soon and Kane is going to continue to dominate....

The Most Underrated Match of 2003

All of the Los Guerreros/Tajiri vs. World's Greatest Tag Team matches on Smackdown!. Those had unpredictable endings; you never really knew who was going to keep the title or lose it. Also, Kurt Angle vs. Chris Benoit the Smackdown! after the Royal Rumble Title match. The rematch they had was a good match and made me mark out when Benoit was bleeding unintentionally. Eddie Guerrero vs. John Cena latino street fight was fun, The Undertaker vs. Kurt Angle Title match, Chris Benoit vs. John Cena in the World Title #1 contender tourney finals I think is underrated. Charlie Haas vs. Kurt Angle, when Kurt made his comeback from the neck surgery. I can't think of any on the RAW side right now though....

    End of Year Awards

When did Matt start using the Version 1.0 Gimmick? If it was from a year ago then I'd say he's most improved because before that he was just Jeff's brother. If not, i'd say Big Show.

    Has Benoit's time arrived?

Benoit is definately going to win it. Kurt Angle said he'd win it soon, and Kurt doesn't lie. Remember when he said he would team with Cena?? BAM! Also, he said he'd like to work with Cena again, this time as a heel and Cena as a face. Anglesault will hate this, but I think they will be feuding later on while Brock and Benoit feud for the belt.

Triple H vs. The Rock at JD 2000

Don't think you'd guys agree with me, but the interference at the end made it more dramatic. Rock had to fight off DX while HBK tried doing the right thing. As soon as Taker came out, the crowd went Crazy, as did I, and the ending to the match was the best possible if they wanted HHH to win the belt again. As for the match itself, it was great not only because Rock and HHH made it believable without stalling too much like in Brock and Angle but basic moves won some of the falls. I'd give the match *****, what else would you want for one hour? These guys are human too.

Next Week on Smackdown! Chris Benoit Vs. John Cena Vs. Brock Lesnar for the WWE title.

    Orton at WMXX

When are we going to get Eddie Guerrero vs. Kurt Angle? That'd be a great match, and pair up Austin vs. Hogan, Rock vs. HBK, Cena vs. Brock vs. Benoit, Kane vs. Taker, Goldberg vs. Batista, Orton vs. HHH, RVD vs. Matt, Y2J vs. Christian (Bragging rights over who's better, Lita or Trish? Maybe..?), Edge vs. Haas or Benjamin(Storyline where Edge got hurt, maybe Haas or Benjamin did it) Booker T vs. Flair & Dudleyz vs. Bashams(Unify the Tag Titles and get all the tag teams in one show because both divisions are pathetic) and BAM! There's your WrestleMania Card

    Rhyno...

But isn't he a hoss? Doesn't Vince like Hosses? Well..I guess he doesn't like talented ones.

    WrestleMania XX's main event

I'd like to see Rey Mysterto vs. Eddie Guerrero though. Other than that, eh. Cena is cool but Brock vs. Goldberg isn't as big as it could have been. If it was WCW Goldberg vs. Face Brock, then we have something.

    You can't See Me.

"You can't see me" = You aren't in his league. You aren't in his level. You're so far down his league that you can't see him! BOO YAH!

The One and Only Smackdown Thread

To me he's sort of like The Rock. Not a big moveset, but somehow gets a pretty good match going. I'm not saying he's as good as The Rock, but he'll get there in time.

Evil Kane laugh makes me laugh. Good Promo though, and hopefully he has a chance to beat Goldberg.

I agree. Orton will never get over. Batista has a couple of weeks to prove he can get over, so we'll see then. So far he's off to a pretty good start.

I know what you mean, but they were NEVER over to begin with. When Cena first came people were raving about his match with Angle, and then the rap gimmick came which got him over. When Brock first appear people were talking about how big and strong he is and athletic and look at where he is now. It wouldn't matter if they got injured because what's going on right now on RAW proves that it isn't relevant. Orton still can't get over no matter what they do. Batista isn't THAT over but he is improving though.

Dude, Brock and Cena have been out of OVW about the same amout of time as Randy Orton and Leviathan, and it just so happens that neither of them are no where near as over as Cena and Brock. Brock has already shown he can put up a good match, and Cena is improving each week. All Batista does his 3 power moves and Orton keeps sending crowds home. That's the difference. Injuries and gimmick has a lot to do with it. Brock and Cena weren't out for a long period of time like Orton and Batista. Also, was John Cena one bit over before the thuganomics gimmick? And it took a WHILE for Lesnar to get over as well. Without their gimmicks they'd probably be in the same boat So now you want to blame gimmicks and injury? So what if people get injured. It shouldn't take another six months to get over. Batista is going through his second gimmick. He still isn't getting over. Orton can't get over because all he does is repeat the same crap. When was the last time Orton even said anything productive? While Cena and Brock somewhat try to change their characters a bit (Brock becoming a whiny little heel, and Cena adding new signature taunts) all Orton does his talk about HHH and protein drinks.
