  1. And the Reds are now reportedly very upset, as they had an agreement with the DR that Cueto and Volquez wouldn't go over 60 pitches due to potential arm strain. In his very first outing Cueto threw 71 pitces in a hot stressful environment. The reds beat writer said GM Walt Jocketty has already called the MLB office furious.

Maybe they should hold Dusty Baker to the same standards.

Players should only get hurt in spring training!

KG and Tim Duncan passed up opportunities to join Team USA, and trust me, that Gold medal win was important.

  2. Just got back from the Canada/USA game. It was agonizingly close there, but at least we proved the upset last time wasn't a fluke. It was the most pumped I've seen the SkyDome for baseball in years.

    That's really sad.

    I KNOEZ.

Come on man. Lets not make it a crime to root for your country so hard.

  3. I'll be around a bit too so yeah, send them if you're about to come up and are about to leave.

With my next pick, I'm going to go with a guy who will probably be my number two face. He was probably the best worker in his era, had his fair share of classic matches, and is good enough to be considered a top guy.

    Jack Brisco.

  4. Boston is on a complete downward slide now. I'm hoping there's a switch they can turn on for the playoffs, because if there isn't then they may not ever make it to the East Finals!

I think it may have a bit to do with this:

"Weird thing is, he kept calling the other guys moors, which is just really messed up," the 12-time all-star said. "I mean, what is that, anyway? He didn't say it like it was a good thing. If he plays good basketball he can do what he wants, but I'm not going to listen to anyone call me or my guys moors."

  5. I wanted a guy who can brawl with the best of them, but wasn't as big as the guys I already have (Gordy, Brody, Hansen). He is probably one of the better heels left, but against those guys I think he can play an underdog face role that holds his own. I'm not sure how I'm going to use him yet, but he provides versatility. He knows the business pretty well, and is very good on the mic. My pick:
