Villanova's good but cant hang with the Gators. UF is 9-10 deep has good guards and they play absolutely tenacious defense. If they play it'll be close but UF will wear them out in the end.. New Mexico on the other hand will get destroyed by the Gators.

Nah Florida is still a Sweet 16 team minimum. Yes Coach D has trouble getting his players up for 1st round games but this group is simply too good. When theyre on they can not only beat anybody but destroy them. This is their wake-up call and I dont see Villanova or New Mexico beating them.

I think your mistaking asshole for loopy. Of course he's a little out there but from all accounts I've heard he's extremely nice. One of the rare guys who's TV persona isnt a schtick.

Like her or not, Mikalah has too much of a fanbase to leave the show in the first week. For me she started out annoying and is getting worse. Look for someone like Lindsey Cardinale to get eliminated tonight. The show was very blah last night as nobody (except for Nadia) stepped up at all. Even the most ambitious song choices (Anwar's Bacharach song) seemed to fall flat.

If you watched Syracuse play WVU in the Big East Title game you have good reason to pick them for the Final 4 (biases aside of course).

Youre right about Florida not having it all together in December but youre discounting the quality of Conference USA. Now I'm not gonna sit here and say its the ACC, its clearly not. However, you had 4 tournament teams and 3 teams ranked in the top 25 most of the year. Plus, Depaul, Marquette and Memphis were no pushovers. So calling the CUSA a glorified mid-major is a misnomer. Louisville beat all of those teams some multiple times and I'm sorry you cant explain to me why a 29-4 team should be a 4 seed, its logic that simply doesnt add up. Now for the record I like GT a lot but I think they spent too much energy securing a spot in the tourney and wont have anything left in the tank in order to make a serious run. If the Cardinals and Yellow Jackets meet in the 2nd round (which I do project btw) it'll be close but in the end they will simply be too much for GT and will win by approx. 9-16 points.

Both UNC and Duke are overrated. UNC's starting 5 is great but depth is still a problem there. If May has foul problems theyre in trouble. Plus, you know Roy Williams will find a way to gag it.

I dont think it'll happen in fact I have both of them going down in the Sweet 16.

I had an intense debate with a fellow TSMer about John's behavior last week and I still have no problem with the way he talked to Audrey and didnt find it sexist at all since a) Audrey was worthless b) I felt John was simply calling a spade a spade. The one caviat I offered was that if John pulled that one of the other females then he was an asshole. Needless to say when he called Stephanie a "fluffer" my jaw hit the floor. Chris much like Andy in the fall is very good but too green. The obvious difference being that Andy was too passive and where as Chris is too wound up. Stephanie is a stronger player than I gave her credit for and could hang around for a while longer. You might not personally like Erin but mark my words she WILL be in the final four. Bren like it or not is the second strongest candidate on the show right now and youre completely leaving out Alex.

Alex, Bren, Erin and Tana are my top four right now.

Down between John and Chris IMO, and I think unless Chris says something dumb (which could happen) John is out.
