TNA Comments which don't warrant a thread

Not unhappy enough to give up a national tv deal anyway.

    Dexter

That's what I was hoping for with Lila, and I guess it's a possibility judging by the previews where she finds the cabin if she gets her finger prints on enough things. I read in an interview where Michael C. Hall says we saw Dexter as the calm and collected Dexter in season one, the wild Dexter this season, and by the end of Season 2 he's changed into something new again. I mean I really think Doakes and Dexter both stick around, but I'm leaning toward Dexter getting caught and going on the run with maybe Doakes tracking him down.

    Impact spoilers (airs December 6th)

I'm not usually a guy who harps on TNA or WWE a whole lot. But damn it just seems like everything has fallen apart since Bound For Glory. They really need someone to step up as a leader backstage or on creative, and give them a definitive direction to work for. Hell even Bill Watts coming in would be an improvement as atleast he'd pick something and run with it.

The Internet is Hurting The Business: Part 1

Disco was good for what he was. I mean I don't think he was a good wrestler, but he wasn't bad either. I think he could do some cool stuff in the ring, and really knew how to play the character he played. Bobby Heenan's commentary during his matches always made him seem like he was a good wrestler who could win more if only he'd stop dancing. I wouldn't mind a guy like him being in the mid-card of either company right now.

    Raw 12.3.07

Damn when I saw Hall on it out of the corner of my eye, I thought maybe we had a reason why he no showed last night other than the obvious ones.

    Turning Point

I wouldn't piss off Nash, he may not be the greatest wrestler, but I'm sure he can fuck up someone if he needs to.

    Impact spoilers (airs December 6th)

As a Sting mark I must say I miss Sting in TNA already. For the spoilers, I'm just really sick of all the tag team stuff in TNA. Leave the tag team matches to the tag division.

    Senshi Quits TNA

Well, he changed his offense imo to not being so stiff, maybe WWE will give him a look finally.

    Turning Point

That ppv might have been the most shocking WCW Saturday Night or WCW Pro if that's what it would have been, but it was a ppv.

WWE General Discussion - December 2007

I believe he defended it against Umaga that night Snitsky interfered a few weeks ago, although I could be wrong.

    WWE announces 2007 DVDs

Did they go over The Warrior's days in WCCW at all, mention him, or do they mention Cactus or Austin for that matter.

    Turning Point

Early reports say that Scott Hall claimed “food poisoning” as to why he didn’t show up at the TNA Turning Point PPV last night. TNA had been working for weeks promoting the return of The Outsiders at the PPV. Hall’s no-show lead to a huge shoot promo from Samoa Joe at the end of the show. "Scott Hall punked out on me and on every single fan in this building tonight,” said Joe. He said there are TNA die-hards who bust their asses for the fans every week and there are superstars who think they come and do whatever they want, however they feel like it, and screw the hard-working guys and fans of TNA. Earlier in the show Joe sent another shot at Hall saying that he “probably couldn’t pass the breathalyzer in his car to get to the arena.” That's from PWInsider, and I found it on prowrestling.com

    Turning Point

It's probably as simple as this. Hall loves wrestling but at the end of the day he is about how much you are going to pay him. When TNA didn't jump to sign him to a nice contract and wanted to book him at probably a few grand a week he probably decided he'd just stay working puerto rico until he gets a shot with WWE or TNA signs him to a nice contract.

    Dexter

These episodes just keep building and building like a good wrestling match. Next episode looks like it's going to be a killer. Not so sure how it's going to end after seeing the previews.

    Turning Point

Who knows with Tna, this could be something they are doing on purpose with Hall to play off his past.

Maybe the anniversary show will be a retrospective with a few live segments thrown in.

The Internet is Hurting The Business: Part 1

I agree with what he says about the X-Division guys and the selling, and it's pretty easy to tell who has a clue and who doesn't. Jimmy Jacobs, the brusier brody ripoff, he was talking about has improved quite a bit since 2002-2003. Just because he's the Disco Inferno doesn't make his opinion wrong. He was a decent worker during his little mid-card run.

    WWE announces 2007 DVDs

Looks like they released "Screwed: The Bret Hart Story" afterall. I wonder if this will affect the new Hart dvd, then again he probably won't ever know about it since he won't be out there buying a Shawn Michaels dvd.

Does anyone have any updates on the NWA title, and if Adam Pearce is still champion, who he's defended against?

TNA Comments which don't warrant a thread

That match almost made me stop watching TNA, when I started watching probably six weeks prior. I think another horrible move by TNA was jobbing Raven in canada on a house show to Jarrett rather than possibly using it as a main event on one of their first impacts on Spike. Could have done the same thing on Spike and garnered more interest in the AMW heel turn and Raven's storyline with Larry Zybysko about getting screwed out of a rematch.

WWE General Discussion - November 2007

HD from what I've seen offers a decent improvement, but seems like another way to make everybody buy a new tv, dvd player, and a bunch of dvds. I think it does look good, but unfortunately I'm running on an 12 year old standard tv, so right now It's not something I need. I have the PS3 so I tried running a few blu-ray dvds, and with my current tv it doesn't look any different so I won't be going out of my way on though yet either.

    Best Promos Ever

Double A is considered a great promo by a lot of workers. I agree with the Shane Douglas comment, although I think even when he misses he's still decent. Same with his ring work the last few years. I have a obscure promo reference, and it probably wouldn't be considered a good promo by a lot of people even myself because it goes on a little too long. But Dan Maff cut a very intense promo on Low Ki for their Bitter Friends, Stiffer Enemies match. The intensity was great at the end, however the promo was a retread of an old WWF Eddie Guerrero promo about his daughter having the poster of another wrestler on his wall. Scott Steiner's "retirement" speech was pretty heartfelt.

    Best member of the nWo

I'd actually like to see tho if they are on youtube, I couldn't find them though. I always liked Norton, and will eventually go out of my way to see his Japan work. He did have that enforcer vibe to him, but he just always seemed to be there. They didn't put a whole lot of stock in his persona or character. His badass look and ring style pretty much did his talking I suppose. My favorite nWo member is probably Nash. Had Hall been able to stay around more he would have taken it. I think Nash really held the nWo together during the original run. Oh by the way, Sting was originally supposed to be the third nWo member according to either Hall or Nash in their recent shoot interview. Hogan saw the train leaving, and decided to do it. Although they did say he was iffy the whole day about doing it.
