Now I have a reason to watch TNA beyond ordering the monthly ppvs that look good on paper. Sting has stated in various interviews in the past he wants one meaty storyline if he was to return. After that he is willing to put over whatever new talent is asked to be put over. If this is true good signing for TNA.

I noticed a Billy Graham dvd up for presale along with the 2005 rewind boxset and the ECW Greatest Matches dvd on Highspots. Has anyone heard any information on the Superstar dvd? I'm interested because it's supposed to ship next month, and I haven't heard anything other than their is a dvd listed now. Edit: Amazon Listing of Graham Dvd

Well that would be news I'd hate to be the first to put up.
-
I'd be more worried about putting out a good product then messing with a guy who's working a product that maybe 500,000 people in the US will ever see, and that might be me being generous about the number of people who buy Puro in the US.

92 and 98 are my favorites hands down.

Why The Carnage Crew just fucking 0wn
The Buzz replied to LucharesuFan619's topic in General Wrestling
Ive always enjoyed the Carnage Crew, they aren't perfect workers, but who is perfect in any sense? -
Well Abyss has done like 5 or so shows as a part-time hired gun for the embassy, as the muscle of the group. They needed a big man with brute power and so they chose Abyss...

I don't think anyone but Kurt Angle and his physician have the right to decide whether or not his health is good or bad. Whether or not he is on steroids I don't know, but if he feels that he needs them and is using them, hopefully he has accepted the the consequences.

Bruno Dusty Flair Eddie G. Sting Sammartino Hart Steamboat that'd make a badass induction ceremony imo, and all are worthy if they'd accept which we already know a few won't.

He's been doin the shirt thing for awhile back in WWE. I think he's just trying to get heat by being the overly feminine while not being gay. Maybe he's just trying to have an original look and trying to get himself over before his career is over.
-
His website says he's hosting TBN on December 1st. His last official matches were as follows: HCW-The Great Muta/Sting vs DDP/Satoshi Kojima and some mid south mid central, one or the other groups toured Korea where Sting defeated Billy Gunn in the main event, which was cut short due to poor attendance.....why that is I don't know? I think they expected several thousand and ended up drawing like 1500.

almost 46, according to his bios he was born in 1959.
-
So Sting IS interested in doing a dvd project. Bout time.
-
That's understandable and I respect your opinion. I just would expect that out of a lower independent promotion not the one that's drawing more paid fans then the number two promotion. I hope the people running it are the nice, caring, and friendly people I think they are.

I think people get the wrong idea. This event was planned for awhile...so the card was already atleast some what thought out. Eddie died and then they said...ok on the show we got coming up, lets pay some tribute to Eddie with a ten bell salute, and if any of the wrestlers want to pay tribute during their match then that'd be respectful. Then they named it Night of Tribute instead of ..Honor Invades Boston, Glory By Honor 5, etc. It's not a spur of the moment show made just to cash in on Eddie. Advance tickets were sold in advance for ROH not for Eddie Guerrero as the good man was still alive then.

Well I shouldn't feel sorry for someone who did it to themselves, but I do anyways. I hope he gets his life on track, but I doubt it.

If You Were A Wrestler, What Accomplishments
The Buzz replied to Dimensions's topic in General Wrestling
-Make a name for myself -Win A World Title In Japan -Help bring a wrestling based promotion to the mainstream level to sway the public's view of the sport even slightly. -Win the company's World Championship. -Retire being able to walk, workout, and put over the new guy even though by then I'll probably be protecting my spot for my return in two years. -
Edit: meh nevermind...I shouldn't even be arguing about this.
-
Well Taz may not have been a good hold for hold "technical worker", which sometimes is confused with being a good worker. But I think he was a solid worker with good charisma. Taz vs Joe would have been intense with the fight night feeling in the air. Both men are favorites of mine so picking a winner is hard. So I pick the fans as the winner instead.
-
Lesnar vs Guerrero is my favorite match of any two wrestlers. I didn't even mind the Goldberg interference. Great match..great story told. End of story for me.

Urlacher did a show with TNA.

Come up with real songs for TNA wrestlers to use
The Buzz replied to Masked Man of Mystery's topic in TNA Wrestling
Aries uses Personal Jesus...I don't know the artist. Joe uses Momma Said Knock You Out-LL Cool J when hes not champion. They can't really uses real songs or they run into trouble when they try and produce the shows on dvd, video games, etc. A good portion of their themes are good as it is. It's the lower card guys who recycle the themes that confuse me. -
Joe is a strong worker. He is strong on the mic only because his promos fit his character. He's there to kick ass in the ring. He's an honorable fighter and thus he's laid back when he's not fighting. I don't think you have to be over the top or have a huge vocabulary/no accent to be a good speaker on the microphone. Its the same thing I feel about Benoit and other guys that are called bad speakers because of an accent or a lack of zanyness. So in closing...in ring charisma, great facials during his matches, innovative offense for this side of the globe, good pyschology, impressive endurance. Joe is pro-wrestling

They sell a lot of old WWF dvds on Highspots.com you just usually have to wait an extra two weeks to get it while they backorder it. They have Hulk Still Rules

So Sid is a bigger draw than Sting, Flair, Hart, HBK, Goldberg, The Warrior....fuck... I learn something new every day. Well If Sid is number two...I guess that makes Nash number one.
