Thanks, I've got a dozen or so ROH dvds, but none in the period where he worked a few shows. So I was just wondering what kind of worker he was.
-
Just out of curiousity what type of wrestler is he. High Flyer, Technical, Powerhouse, etc.
-
I'm interested if you're able to put it onto dvd.
-
edit: nvm
-
I've seen a lot of Joe on my ROH DVDS, but this was my first IWA:MS match....and all I have to say is wow...that was a crazy fight.
-
That's one of the few reasons he retired. He doesn't want to have the surgery at all no matter how advanced it is.
-
Sting, Ultimate Warrior, Goldberg, The Rock, Austin could all do it. In the case of Austin it wouldn't be smart due to his injuries, and the rest I think would be just fine.
-
He had a good cage match with Rick Rude at Summerslam 1991 as well.
-
Sting is my favorite wrestler and all, but he calls his performances in now and has for the past 7 or 8 years. If he ever decides to put the working boots on and work for tna or wwe for a year that'd be very cool and I'd enjoy seeing him in one last run. However, I'd like to see Raven as the wildcard entrant. I just think he should win the belt when AJ drops it eventually, then again I haven't watched TNA in two months, So I don't know where Raven stands at the moment in regards to the title.

Well...Triple H has been given all the time and all the opponents, and I'm still waiting for something great. He's a decent worker and a decent champion, and I'm happy for him as a person that he's getting such a great push. He's not horrible so..I can accept him in his position. I think the match could be fun to see how it plays out, as July is the draft month right?

I agree on Guerrero.

Mick Foley Commissioner Tribute Video.

I remember they had one that used "So Far Away" By Staind...but that might be a bit more recent then what your looking for. -
1. Sting vs Vader(any of there matches are gold for me) While I don't agree that Vader carried the matches. I do agree with everyone that they are just great matches. Both men did a good job here and put out my favorite series of matches. I don't think Sting nor Vader ever performed on this level again. They both had some good ones afterwards, but if you want to show the best of both to a non-fan of both..these are the matches. 2. Benoit vs Lesnar from Smackdown toward the end of 03 3. American Dragon vs Low Ki vs Christopher Daniels from ROH Era of Honor Begins 4. American Dragon vs Low Ki w/ Guest Referee: Ken Shamrock from Round Robin Tournament 5. Rick Rude vs Ultimate Warrior-World Title Cage Match from Summerslam 91? I'm a big Ultimate Warrior fan and a big Rick Rude fan. This my favorite encounter they had, and I can watch it over and over even to this day. 6. Ultimate Warrior vs Randy Savage- Career vs Career 7. Eddy Guerrero vs Brock Lesnar-No Way Out 2003 8. Sting vs Goldberg-Monday Nitro 1998 This was a big mark out moment for me, as Sting always was and always will be my favorite. Goldberg was unstoppable at the time, and Sting was probably the guy that had the best chance to beat him. The match was pretty back and forth and I love the ending sequence where Sting dodges the spear, and will not let Goldberg push out of the Scorpion Deathlock. The run in attack by Hogan ruined it somewhat, but still a match I like just for the fact it was the next to last time I marked out. 9. Benoit vs Triple H vs HBK-Mania XX Benoit wins his second World Title ever...nuff said. 10. Cactus Jack vs HHH-HIAC I was a closet Mick Foley fan since his early 90s WCW run. I had been on the net reading the rumors for a few years now, but believed a lot of it was just bullshit. I didn't believe Mick Foley would retire, and it was my last markout moment waiting for him to kickout of the pedigree that would end his active career. Honorable Mentions: Sting vs Flair from Clash of The Champions 1, HBK vs HHH-Summerslam Unsanctioned Match, Roddy Piper vs Bret Hart-IC Title Match, Tazz vs Kurt Angle(Tazz's Debut Match), Samoa Joe vs Colt Cabana from Death or Dishonor 2, Colt Cabana/Cm Punk vs The Briscoes....(Generation Next?) It's impossible for me to pick only ten matches. I like so many different styles of wrestling even the big man style that many people hate.

I was thinking Angle is only using the "rapist" remarks to throw Booker T off his game for the match to make it easier to win....that's where they should go with it. Angle is a guy who'll do what it takes to win a match.
-
I don't know what the pet is...but he's definitely stoned I'll tell you that.
-
well no doubt that Angle vs Taker is loads better. I just figured I'd try to show Paul Wight some love.
-
Well considering the lack of great taker matches. I just thought I'd suggest the Big Show vs Taker. *hands you your puke bucket*
-
Undertaker vs Brock-HIAC Undertaker vs Kurt Angle-Smackdown Undertaker vs Big Show from.....i think No Way out a few years back was decent enough for two big men to get a dvd spot. and hell since they are so gung-ho on pushing his undefeated streak at Wrestlemania....why not put all of the wrestlemania matches on the dvd even though half of them suck.
-
Didn't Hart say something to the extent of "I just want to be remembered." And as far as Warrior being a crazy sob..I have to disagree. Eccentric....yes. Crazy....no. He's an overly well-read man who's strong in his beliefs. If you look at his rise to the top of the sport he's just as cold and calculating backstage as Hogan, HHH, and any other top guy. He would to have been to get to where he was during the Hogan era, and you've all read the stories like I have. But I don't think he's loony toons by any means...he's just a guy with a huge ego who likes to ramble about his own personal beliefs of how everyone should strive to be a warrior.....ahh fuck ok maybe he is crazy. Atleast I tried..... Now for my list..... Ric Flair, Bill Goldberg, Shawn Michaels, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Bruno Sammartino, Scott Steiner, Jeff Jarrett, DUSTY RHODES

I heard someone say on this forum I believe that he went 75 minutes recently with someone on the indy scene, can anyone confirm that? As far as WWE goes, I think taking him off tv for six months....no heat or nothing. Putting in Puerto Rico or OVW to keep him on his game, and then bringing him back as Sean Morley the serious wrestler like they tried to push him as once upon a time would atleast get him in the US/IC title range again. Other than that a release would be his best bet as long as he ditched the gimmick. I could see him main eventing on the independents or even TNA.
-
I don't know maybe it's just me...but shouldn't you have an actual promotion before you get a tv deal, and maybe just maybe if you are gonna use a name for leverage shouldn't it be with a guy who can atleast run?
-
I'm going to buy Jasmin's 3PW promotion

Going off topic, I noticed Greg Matthews from TE1 fame worked the show. I know he used to do some CZW shows as well. Does anyone know how good he is? -
That should say either "One of the many men to turn wwe ratings around" or if you want to be an ass..."the last man on a list of many to turn wwe ratings around"
-
They only have a chance of getting Sting due to Jerry Jarrett giving Sting his start in wrestling. Sting just worked in January against Billy Gunn in Korea for Mid-Atlantic Championship wrestling. If he is still in the shape he was last year in TNA then a Sting vs Raven(if Raven gets a stronger push) would be awesome. But I agree with everyone they've blown their chances and would pretty much have to bring someone in to help out. Or suddenly start booking their talented roster smartly.
