I can see the MEM counter to that shirt. Nash on the front, "Boot" on the back.
-
As previously mentioned, Flair had to cut his hair like that at the urging of Jim Herd to perform a spartacus gimmick that never materialized thank god.
-
Savage wouldn't look all that different than he has in the last 10 years or so if he dyed the beard still. I read that he takes care of his sick parents now in Florida.
-
I'd rather see Austin vs Orton, Edge, etc. Someone who's a solid heel who can play out an interesting storyline with Austin that is more than the dream match deal.
-
Nice to see Rhino as more than an afterthought, and now the frontline has three more guys to go along with Styles and Joe that are more credible. Also nice to see Sting involved in a MEM segment physically. Other than that, the show looks like shit.
-
this was directed toward DDP, and went something like this.
"While you're on your back, screamin' in pain. Your wife will be on hers, screamin' my name."
-
- Word going around is that William Regal was eliminated from his match last night so fast because he is suffering from a very bad case of the flu.
Found that in some report on gerweck. I know some of the board were upset about that last night.

If Steiner never sustained that major nerve injury to his foot, I think he'd still be a bigger force than he is now.
-
Not to mention that flair/foley match was pretty good.

I've used Low Down and Fire It Up by Black Label Society as well as Sad But True by Metallica. When I'm picking out a theme song I usually listen to the music more than anything and think about if it would make for a good entrance.

thanks for the heads up. I decided to just buy them used if I get them at all from amazon. Atleast then I'll pay no more than four-five bucks.
-
Well now I have to buy it just to see how horrible it was. Any reviews of the other shows/dvds?
-
"And you know this, man..."I always laugh every time he says that.
Back on topic:
Heartbreak Kid in training right there.

I agree with the above Grey's Anatomy posts, I'll add that I think George and Chief are alright to watch.

WWE Shopzone has a decent discount on some older dvds as compared to what you'd find them in the stores. I was wondering if any of these 2006 dvds are worth picking up? 2006 I pretty much only picked up a select few dvds of 2006. I've tried to collect every individual show of ROH, TNA, WWE on dvd along with bio and historical dvds. But in interest of saving money, would I be missing out on much if I skip these?
Backlash
December to Dismember
Armageddon
Survivor Series
Cyber Sunday
No Mercy
New Years Revolution
Unforgiven.
Hell for good measure how about the tenth anniversary raw dvd, stone cold truth, and undertaker he buries them alive? I have the 15th anniversary raw dvd, undertakers 3 disc best of from a year or two ago, and the new stone cold dvd.

I heard someone on another board compare Sting's role in the MEM to Don Corleone(sp) from the Godfather. He may issue the orders out, but he's not the one carrying them out. I think a part of this angle that's going to come into play is Angle vs Sting. I don't know how yet, I just feel like the leadership of the group may come into play.
-
I can't update you on much of the current storylines, I'm still finishing the tail end of 2006. But I've heard that Jerry Lynn can still go, but isn't necessarily putting on the match of the night anymore.
-
Besides if Val gets released he can always try Japan, ROH, or go back to Mexico since he is a former world champion in one of the two major promotions down there.
-
In a slight hijack of the thread, has anyone heard the new Brian Wilson album that came out this year, or for that matter any of his albums to come out the last few years.?
-
I like to get behind Matt for the underdog factor, but I feel Jeff does it better. While Matt is my favorite of the two Hardy brothers, I don't think he's been interesting aside from the rivalry with MVP since he was doing the Matt Hardy Version 1.0 gimmick. Maybe if he takes time off he can freshed up the character a bit so he can continue to move up the ranks.

I was sitting there thinking, okay they are going to let Randy have longer than usual to get a defense going out of respect and to stop people from claiming it was a work, unfortunately people are going to be morons anyway. It's like some of the shit I heard southerners in this news report saying about Obama prior to the election, I just wonder where people hear this shit or come up with it.

I believe, and I could be wrong, that they've both been with the company since the beginning so more than likely they've been rewarded over time for being there and helping the company grow with a large paycheck. Whereas the two knockouts are relatively new to TNA, although I do agree they should be knocked up in pay.
Edit: Nevermind I thought the referee you were referring to was Rudy Charles who is only making 100 grand. Earl Hebner is a famous referee, which is probably why they offered him that much to sign. Once again the Knockouts should be well above both referees. Reading some of these payrates, it's no wonder why TNA has had so much trouble making money over the years.

Only recognize Sting as real estate Steve?

Business is about to pick up, heres to hoping they leak the final episodes like last year.
