According to people on gamefaqs, this game is REALLY short. Like, 4 hours or so.
-
I get SOME MyNetwork TV shows in syndication, played early in the day on CW. So maybe I'll have like...2 PM on Tuesday for SD, or some shit like that.
-
I never got UPN, so I was FINALLY able to get SD when they merged with WB and became the CW. ...so now they're going back to a channel I don't get. Fucking Smackdown.

I don't know if it's bombing, I can't find it anywhere local, so it's probably on a low screen count 1122 screens. Not a huge release, but not exactly small either.
-
I was planning on seeing Charlie Bartlett in 2 more weeks (that way I can use my free passes on it) but with it bombing at #14, and just $1.8 million, I'm not even sure if it'll be around for that long.
-
Wait, so the idea, if I'm reading it correctly, is to have two posters on a wrestling message board talk about wrestling?? BRILLIANT~!
-
what the fuck? Do you have to change to ultra shitty new music to get a chance to enter into the MITB?

*bumping this thread* Thought the Feast was bad? Subway now has a new EXTRA super Jared-not-approved sub. The Angus Stack Sub, where, if you get the footlong triple stacked sub, you can get SIX fucking angus beef patties stacked up. SIX. I went into Subway today, just curious as to how much that thing would fucking cost, and they didn't even have a price posted. They did have a price for the Double Stacked Footlong (4 patties) and that was already $7.50. So I'm thinking $9 to $10 for the six. Seriously fucking ridiculous. Both the sub and the price.

Am I blind to it, or are there no SD spoilers on the board? Why?
-
So, it's just like Pledge This, but without the added bonus of Angela Dodson topless multiple times?
-
Edit: nothing to see here
-
I just love the fact that a PPV doesn't warrant a thread.

Hey Bob, since you keep track of the per theater average stuff, is the Hottie and the Nottie's $225 per theater one of the all time lows for an opening weekend?
-
It's uh....free.
-
What about Sean's piece on the side in season 1? Sure, she was fucking a married man, but, other than that, she wasn't too bad.
-
Someone else with the siiiiicknessssss that is Culdcept. I'll meet you online as soon as I get a freakin' 360. -Annie And as soon as I get my 360 back from MS.
-
Doakes is gonna lose at least half of his dialogue on CBS.
-
And since it hasn't been mentioned yet, the Hannah Montana concert had the highest per-theater average of any wide release movie ever. EVER. *shoots self* No, wait, that's a stupid idea! *shoots as many little kids as he can find*

IC Champ + in the world title picture > ECW champion
-
Politics... If Jeff Hardy was on SD! he'd most likely be a world champion by now. Over Batista and UT? Sure.

other comedy gold from Storm tonight: He said he wasn't allowed to bring beer out to the ring tonight, since it's a "family" show, but it's ok. He's just gonna get hopped up on Mountain Dew and be all over Abyss like a spider monkey.

Well, just got back home from this show about an hour ago, figured I'd do a writeup on it. Show opened up with the announcer saying that Awesome Kong wasn't going to be there because her mother died a few days ago. Opening match, and the match of the night, Petey Williams over Kirby Mack with the Canadian Destroyer. Third time I've seen Petey live, and the FIRST time I've seen him do the Destroyer. About damn time. Also....when exactly did Petey start doing a Narcissist gimmick? Match #2: TJ Mack/Velvet Sky over Charlie Dreamer/Daffney. Velvet pinned Daffney, but I have no clue how. People stood up and blocked my view. So, yeah, they had both members of Team Macktion there, and didn't even have them team up. Brilliant. Weird element to the match, as Daffney was the only one playing heel. Charlie refused to go heel with her, no matter how much she screamed at him. CW Anderson comes down next to bitch about losing to Abyss yesterday, and adds himself to the main event of Abyss vs. James Storm. The main event that was supposed to be Abyss vs. Robert Roode, and hadn't been mentioned once that it had changed. Anderson then tells security to let a plant in the crowd enter the ring, and Anderson beats him up. Ok. This show had probably 750 people at it. Is this show REALLY big enough to need a plant? REALLY? Match 3: Scotty Too Hotty over Joey Silvia with the Worm. Yes. Scotty Too Hotty and the Worm. Seriously. I've gone into a fucking timewarp. Silvia strikes me as someone who could be a star someday. He's still weak in wrestling skills, but the's got the entertainment aspect of wrestling DOWN. Both times I've seen him live he's been able to turn the crowd reaction from "who the fuck is THIS guy?" into a huge chorus of boos within 2-3 minutes. After the match, Scotty brought two kids into the ring to dance with him, but the boy he brought in was scared SHITLESS and wouldn't move. I felt bad for laughing at the kid, but it was fucking hilarious. Intermission time. Kevin Nash, Scotty 2 Hotty, Velvet Sky, Team Macktion, and Charlie Dreamer were all out signing autographs. Didn't care about any of them. But then I saw that Daffney was also signing, so I had to mark out like a little bitch. Yeah, everyone here might think I'm weird, but I've been a mark for Daffney since she debuted in WCW. So I rushed my ass over there and got a photo with her and got it signed. That right there was enough for me to call it a good show. Match 4: Kevin Nash over Robert Roode with the Jackknife. Basically an extended squash. Match 5: Abyss over James Storm and CW Anderson in the tamest hardcore match EVER. Earlier in the show, in the CW Anderson interview, it was hyped up as "tables, ladders, chairs, barbed wire, glass, thumbtacks" and it ended up...table, chair, trashcan, and broom. Just a bit below what was teased. Abyss brought in a bag of thumbtacks and spread them all across the ring, but then in the ultimate dick heel move, James Storm grabbed a broom and swept them out of the ring before they could be used. I'm guessing the lack of weaponry/blood was probably due to the fact that this show was being held in a middle school gym. Overall, a decent to good show, but it was great for me, due to fanboyism reasons explained above.

This thread begins and ends for me with Culdcept SAGA. Good thing it comes out this Tuesday. I was going crazy with all the fucking delays.

WWE General Discussion - January 2008
fazzle replied to Prophet of Mike Zagurski's topic in The WWE Folder
Well, there is a UFC logo in the poll heading... as well as a graphic on the side of the page that says the fight, date, and time. Wasn't there when I posted my message. But yeah, it's there now. -
So is Sean's agent officially a fucking cartoon character after last night's episode?
