What's weird is, the two weeks before that "I don't have a match" promo Kurt and Benoit had been tag partners and had kinda argued in the back about who's move was better. They could have easily done the match based off that but then they suddenly dropped it and went with that "open challenge" promo.

Why are people bitching about it being short? At IGN they bitch because it took 12 hours. That is short? 12 hours is fine for an action game! It's like since the PSX era the press are obsessed with every game being RPG length. What action games are actually that long? It seems like every one gets "too short~!" complaints.

It doesn't really get "epic". A big villain does show up that forces them to stop just hunting for Spheres, but even then it's still really lighthearted and carefree. The game wasn't short. It was like 40 hours long. Besides, I'm not done with it. I will beat it multiple times. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): The Fayth are in the Farplane now. They tried to stop the villain down there but it beat them and is using them.

I just beat it. I got the good ending. Whatever you do, don't miss out on it and get the normal one. The stuff required to get the good one is not hard and it's incredible! Spoiler (Highlight to Read): Tidus and Yuna reuniting was so awesome! It was exactly what I had been hoping for. I am so happy for Yuna now!

I like the stupidity though. That's why I stopped watching. Too much drama and less funny.

I like the Sailor Moon dub. I was obsessed with the first two seasons of that show but lost interested in 3.

FF IX is just as cinematic as FF X...

Yeah, it started to pick up at the end of Chapter 2 when a new threat to Spira was discovered. It's still not really an epic adventure though. I'm not sure what to think about this non-linear mission based stuff. It's new and fresh, but I'm kinda disappointed it's not a big dramatic epic like other FFs.

I am not a slobbering fanboy, but I would like a giant Sephiroth walking through fire poster. I don't know who Rei Ayanami is though.

Let's talk about X-2. I just got the Berserker dresssphere. Yuna looks really cute in it. I saw that hyped up hot springs scene. It wasn't that big of a deal...

Am I missing something here? I don't know of anyone in the game forum here who talks about anime all the time. What is this argument about? Why are you guys fighting over anime fans in my X-2 post?

Rikku as a black mage in X-2 looks like I-No. This board does need more bishonen, in particular more Squall.

"Bum Rush" is probably a reference to FF VI. Sabin had a blitz called that.

Paine uses the Bum Rush grid. It gives a lot of Strength bonuses. Rikku and Yuna use Protection of Halo, which give out defense and magic def bonuses.

I think the shorts are overkill, but yeah it makes a lot of sense. I really like Yuna's voice actress. She does a good job of showing how Yuna is having lots of fun and goofing off, yet is still the same old shy and reserved Yunie. I am on Chapter 3 now and really into it. It's so cool. I had Yuna and Rikku both master the White Mage job. Paine learned the important stuff for the Alchemist job so that she could switch to it if she needed to heal too. I usually have Yuna either be a White Mage and do Pray all the time or a Gunner. Rikku is usually a thief or a White Mage(if Yuna isn't). She also has some black magic learned, but I like never use that job. Paine is almost always a warrior, though I just got Dark Knight and switched her to it for the time being.

I want to be a morale studier.

Because she's not following Yevon anymore. Now that she is free from the responsibilities of being a summoner and stuff she can cut loose and use machines as weapons and dress like that.

Ok, I have played a lot more now. Game is incredible. GOTY! I really like the "girly" tone. It's funny and charming. Paine is awesome! I get a kick out of her serious and business like attitude compared to Rikku. I also really like the new battle system. Simple, fast & fun, but with plenty of options. It seems really easy to get new abilities. I have already learned all the good white magic for Yuna in the White Mage dress. She can do Full Life, Curaga and Regen and I'm not even done with chapter 1. My only complaint so far is that they didn't bother to change how Wakka and Lulu look. It's been two years, it's ridiculous they haven't changed at all. It's stupid how they poke fun at Wakka for being fat yet he looks EXACTLY like he did in X.

The whole "FF heroes have angst" thing is overhyped anyway. Squall is like the only one who is unsure of himself for a long period of time. Cloud is kinda disinterested at first but gets into it within a few hours and except for one part where he is messed up in the head, is happy to be leader. Tidus and Zidane wanted to help people. Even Squall wanted to fight, he was a SeeD! He was just inclosed and didn't know why he had to be leader(though he rarely openly complained).
