They edited the page for next month. SummerSlam 97 and Summerslam 89 are being played. I finally get a copy of 89, I haven't seen this show in years.

The new legends roundtable is the best one they've put out yet. Interesting and hilarious stories about the likes of Russo, Goldberg, Luger, Buff Bagwell, Heyman and others. This season of legends is so much better than the first. Their is no douchebag like Mike Graham around to annoy everyone.

Yeah, Matt's probably a top 5 guy in WWE right now based on ring work. He's had good matches with Booker, Kennedy, MVP, Regal, Joey Mercury, Finlay now, and even the freaking Miz. Add to that the tag work with Jeff and it's one hell of a year so far for Matt Hardy.

Black Snake Moan or Knocked Up

That one woman in the HBK shirt in the front row is Lashley's cheering section. She's been going wild all night for Lashley. I think she was the one that yelled out "I hope you choke on that apple" at Carlito as well. Her lame antics and the mystery music have been the highlights of this raw.

This music is cheesy as hell for HBK's injury.

Requiem For A Dream didn't get nominated for best score either and that's a shame. Clint Mansell did the score for both The Fountain and Requiem, I'd say The Fountain might be a little better. The song Death Is The Road To Awe is unbelivable. A weird one for me is I believe that Jeff Goldblum got snubbed for a Best Actor nomination for his performance in the remake of The Fly. He conveyed emotion in both forms of the Seth Brundle/Brundlefly character.

I thought it was a damn good match. Cena's flurry at the end was belivable to me, but yeah a tapout wasn't necessary at all. Maybe if Khali passed out in it or something it'd be fine. Khali's much better than the other giants they've tried to push like Silva, Gonzales, and Andre (1982 to his retirement). His offense actually looks painful unlike the other giants weakass strikes and chops.

The Fountain not getting nominated for best score at this year's Oscars.

Raw was really good in the MNW. JR taking pot shots at the Robin Hood bait and switch from the previous Nitro was funny, Austin owned in his two promos, and we got a fun Furnas and Lafon vs Owen and Bulldog match. Nitro was boring though.
-
I think they show the sweet Razor/Shawn match from Raw in 94 on that Razor special. It's not a ladder match and it just flows really good.

I got Vengeance 2003 not Backlash 2003 or Judgment Day 2003. That's a good thing, since Vengeance 03 is one of the only good PPVs from 2003.

For all of the Owen Wilson haters, see the movie The Minus Man. He's awesome in it and it's not a comedy at all.
-
I also really enjoy The Girl Next Door. Very good update on the 80's teen movies that is way smarter than your American Pies and Van Wilders of today which is why nobody liked it.
-
Fight Club (It's decent, but whenever people call it the best movie ever, I kind of shake my head.) Borat (Had one hilarious part in "The Fight" and couple chuckles here and their but overall I didn't think it was that funny. It kind of got annoying by the end.)
-
Another great Kevin Bacon movie The Woodsman (About a former pedophile released from prison trying to redeem himself. It has a few powerful scenes in it, Bacon is great in it, and Mos Def is really good too. Most of the people I know have either never heard of it or thought it made pedophiles out to be good people and hated it.) Mean Creek (This underrated gem is about a group of young kids picked on by a bully who plan revenge on the bully. Very harsh, realistic, and depressing. The kid who plays Josh on Drake And Josh actually gives a really good performance here and everyone should see it to see that all child actors of today do not suck.)

I liked DeNiro in it, but yeah the eye glowing stuff was pretty dumb and took away from a powerful scene. The baby's glowing eyes were cheesier that DeNiro.
-
At Close Range - Christopher Walken rules in this movie. Sean Penn's pretty good too. Angel Heart - I think this is Mickey Rourke's finest performance.
-
I actually saw tons of commercials for The Invisible. Much more than say Fracture.

Dammit, so Umaga's face tattoo isn't real.

Hogan and Wight Promos for Hogan/Show Holy Shit, Hogan can still cut an awesome promo when he wants too. I want to see that match now.
-
The new primetime also has Fuji and Muraco doing standup that's awesome just for Fuji's reactions plus a Macho Man interview that's hilarious because he keeps pulling out these random coffee creams and making puns with them.

PPV doesn't sound too interesting. I want to see a main to see Steiner pull out a Frankensteiner. He hasn't done that since I think 1999. Was it off the top rope or did he actually jump and do it? Cause I can't imagine him jumping and doing it nowadays with his bulk.

This was really fun Planet Terror was great. Very fun and exciting the whole way through. Good to see Jeff Fahey and Michael Biehn acting. They rocked in this movie. Trailers all were great. Especially Werewolf Women of The SS Death Proof was terrible and the worst movie I've seen in a while. Kurt Russell delivers a fantastic performance, but he was way more likeable than the group of women. I actually liked the first group better than the second group. Rosario was pretty good in this as she has this odd charm or charisma that makes me like her. Zoe Bell sucked and was really off. Tracie Thomas as Kim was terrible, and was the most grating character I've seen in a long time. Every other word was Bitch, Muthafucker, or the n-word. The diner scene just wouldn't end. Kurt Russell and the car chase/first death scene are the only good parts.

That sounds like the exact same programming as May last year.
