I like the Highlander's new double team move. That's been their finisher since they debuted.

Holy shit, this looks awful. The guy playing Andre has a wig on for some reason or at least it looks like a wig. Also, is that fat black guy with the chain supposed to be JYD.

Plus in kayfabe terms Miz is the easiest opponent for Punk. Big Daddy V is fucking huge and Morrison has beaten Punk numerous times. So, I think it's pretty obvious that he won.

I didn't like the first section of Pulp Fiction at all. Uma's acting was really grating to me for some reason. "The Gold Watch" and The Winston Wolfe stories were awesome though.

who else is eligible? Probably Cody Rhodes and Duece and Domino

WWE already has a brunette diva named Brooke who is most noticeable by her ass. I think the brunette is Eve who looks like a hybrid of every brunette diva in the WWE.

Examples of a Wrestler TRULY Being Put Over

Cena was big before this, but the Mania match with Hunter last year cemented him as the man in the WWE in my eyes. -
Nitro was very boring, but god Mean Gene was hilarious during the beatdown of Madusa by Hokuto. He was yelling about his back or something.

Bound for Glory taking place in Atlanta

My God, Tenay and West are so damn bad. Sting's theme music is pretty good for TNA. -

When did ODB start looking exactly like Jackie Gayda? -
Throw in "Freebird" as the entrance music for the Birds.... I think that added to the pop they got in Philly. Man, that crowd HATED HATED HATED Douglas and Ace. And the SST using the theme song from Halloween as their entrance music. That was freaking badass.

Orton's promos used to be really bad, but I think his promos have been awesome ever since he started the head kicking gimmick. His interviews are reminding me of heel Jake Roberts as he's so slimy, yet calm about what he's going to do to his opponent.

Yes I have, and that's my MOTY for WWE as well. Not as good as Y2J/HHH, but a real good match nonetheless. Still, naming one LMS match doesn't make up for the numerous ones that have been underwhelming. Um, Batista/Taker from this year's Backlash was really good too. Not as good as last nights or Cena/Umaga but still damn good.

I don't think RVD is. I don't recall him winning the European title, and it's not oin WWE's title history. Not a big deal, just curious if maybe I forgot something, as I'm prone to doing. I think RVD won the European Title when he beat Jeff Hardy to unify both the IC and European Titles back in I think August of 2002.

God that match blows. Halloween Havoc 91 wasn't all terrible though. I quite enjoyed Eaton/Taylor and Austin/Rhodes. And the main event of Simmons/Luger was a lot better than I thought it would be. The Rude squash is also fun. Everything else is pretty bad. Pillman/Ricky Morton was a huge letdown. I have that on tape from 2 years ago when it aired on 24/7, so that's why I voted for 89.

That episode made me sides hurt. The tourettes stuff was constantly funny and then the second half with the Chris Hanson stuff was hilarious as well.

ECW 10.2.07 (Vince McMahon McMahon to make WWE Title announcment)
Brocklock replied to Hawk 34's topic in The WWE Folder
This happened to Dreamer all the time in the original ECW. Remember how he finally won the belt only to lose it 5 minutes later to Justin Credible in an impromptu match. -
I like Punk, but the only WWE match of his I can remember the crowd being into the full match was Punk/Morrison title change. He gets a big pop during his entrance, but the crowd seems dead silent during the match. See all Punk/Morrison matches on PPV, the two Punk/Burke PPV matches, etc.

I agree, that Tarantino can't write female dialogue for shit (Uma's dialogue ruined the first story of Pulp Fiction for me), but did we see the same film. This was probably the first time I thought that QT's dialogue came off as very lame and unhip. Sure, "Silly Rabbit, Tricks Are For Kids" from Kill Bil Volume 1 was lame, but that was the only part, most of this movie was full of nausating moments like that. "BOO-YAH" and "I'M GONNA TAP DAT ASS" during the chase scene is strong female dialogue? Most of the women I talk to have never even heard of Vanishing Point, so that's just QT jacking off on the screen shooting women's feet and hearing them talk about his favorite obscure films. I really hated Death Proof btw. Not only was it chatty, but I didn't find it to have a Grindhouse feel compared to Planet Terror which had the grainy picture and all the scratches on the film. Yes, most of the old Grindhouse films had a lot of chatty moments and were mostly build up, but they actually had dialogue that explained the purpose of the characters. I thought Kurt Russell was awesome in it, but even he was only in it for about 20 minutes. Maybe the Director's Cut is better, but I heard that it's mostly even more pointless banter between annoying unrealistic women that still aren't developed well. That black woman with the afro was the most vile hateable character in a film in a long time. It's like QT was going for a female Samuel L. Jackson vibe, but they got the most stereotypical, devoid of emotion, actress they could find. And Zoe wasn't much better. Rose McGowan's cameo was probably the only female character I cared about and she was only in it for 5 minutes. I think this movie's starting to get very overrated, most of the initial hate has gone down and it's starting to get way too much love. I think I'd rather watch I Spit On Your Grave 5 times in a row than Death Proof again.

That's Dead Calm which is actually a really good movie IMO. I think they show Army Of Darkness, Below, and Gothika way too much. I wish they'd show some of the Universal ones again.

I'm kind of disappointed by this lineup. I guess having 24/7 since 2005 does that since they do play a lot of the same stuff per month. I was hoping for Halloween Havoc 93 so I can finally see that opening segment that sounds so terrible it's awesome with Tony Schiavone turning into a werewolf or something goofy that I read about. I hope Havoc 89 wins the poll. Brody/Abby was pretty fun though. And that Sting/Vampiro Torch match is probably one of the worst matches I've ever seen in the best possible way ever. Total Kennel From Hell vibe. The ECW show has a fun Raven/Dreamer match with a nice video package detailing the feud up until that point. The Boston Garden show sounds terrible with Hogan/Bundy being the only match that I might check out since I've enjoyed all of their matches I've seen so far for some reason.

Everyone waving their hands while Vince sits in the front row looking like a complete dork swaying back and forth is gold.

ROH hasn't been interesting me as much lately. It's still good, but I just don't like their new crop of talent as much as the old crop (Erick Stevens, Davey Richards, Morishima, Rocky Romero). The Briscoe, Danielson, and Nigel are still keeping me watching though. I will say Cena is neck and neck with Matt Hardy as best wrestler in the WWE to me. You could put him in a match with Rory McAlister and it would get people paying attention to the match.

I really thought it was great. I thought it was the most intense movie I've seen in a long time. It also grossed me out at parts like when Ashley Judd was fantastic in this and her insanity was well acted. Michael Shannon was solid as well. Harry Connick Jr. plays an amazing prick. It seems to be a love it or hate it type of movie.
