Well, from the article, it is cheap to produce and made 5 times as much as it cost to make, so I guess that could be classified as a success. If it costs that little, why not make another? Better than a $100 million dollar bomb. And a Fat Albert movie? May I ask WHY?

I fail to see anything remotely classic about that thread. It doesn't seem to be entertaining in the slightest, let alone memorable or classic.

I don't know. That is a pretty scary ballerina. With Tyson's unstable mental state, I think she could take him.

I remember this game. I used to always pick Canada or Sweden, I can't remember which. Fun game, but I didn't like the fact that it was WAY too easy. I figured out a way to pretty much score at will in the game, so I would waste pretty much anyone who I faced. It was quite tricking a friend into playing it and them have him quite after one period after being down 12-0. Good times.

It soundss like a stupid argument to me. It seems like the amount of European players are rapidly increasing, along with guys from places Argentina, China, and even South Korea. If anything, I'd say that the NBA is going more towards Europeans and foreign players.

I am still in shock. It was just amazing to see Tampa lift the Cup. I had my doubts for a bit there that Calgary would make the come back, but Tampa held on to win. For me, Tampa winning the Cup is the best sendoff ever. I'll miss hockey when the lockout happens, but at least I have that happy memory to remember it by, until it returns.

I'd say no, being that Tampa Bay is one period away from winning the Stanley Cup and all, I'd rather waste my energy on celebrating Tampa's victory should they hold on to win. Besides, Tampa swept out redbaron's team in the second round as it is. That's victory enough for me.

I can't believe it! 20 minutes away! I hope Tampa will hold on!

I'm bored, so I'll join. I can one of those nameless masses picked around the bottom.

Welp, I'm totally stumped. EDIT: Figured out the answer. That was stupid.

Martin St. Louis - plucked off waivers from the Calgary Flames. Brad Richards - drafted in the 3rd round. Freddy Modin - traded from the Toronto Maple Leafs for (I believe) Cory Cross Nikolai Khabibulin - acquired from a trade with Phoenix. It's not Tampa's fault that teams with "real" fanbases didn't pick up on these guys. Those teams had their chance, but didn't take it. Also, not a "real" fanbase? Honestly, Tampa has sucked ass more often than not in their first few years of existence. Is there any logical reason for Tampa Bay(or any place in the entire world) to give years of strong support to an expansion team that is terrible? Now, Tampa is one win away from the Stanley Cup. From what I have heard, the Lightning are pretty hot right now in Tampa. They're the talk of the town. By most estimates, should Tampa keep their core together, they will likely be a powerhouse in the Eastern conference for years to come. Assuming Tampa stays successful, I can't see why they won't get fans to come to their arena regularly. It's not like Tampa Bay has too many powerhouse professional sports teams to compete with the Lightning. The Bucs are in the up and down parity filled NFL, plus, they will be finished in January at the latest. The D-Rays are stuck in a division with Boston and the Yankees and haven't shown that they can yet get out of last place. The Lightning will be the only game in town from January to about April or so. Well, hockey's dead no matter wins with that lockout and all. Besides, if Canadians boycott hockey en masse because they can't win the Stanley Cup, then that's just sad. It's not like they don't have playoff teams. With a little luck and the right moves, there is no reason why Canadian teams can't get to the Stanley Cup. Heck, 5 of the 6 made it this year, with Edmonton just barely missing out. Ottawa and Toronto have both came really close to making the Stanley Cup finals in recent years. Calgary actually made it, and could still win it. Montreal, Vancouver, and Edmonton have all made noise in recent playoffs as well. They haven't won the Stanley Cup? Well, boo hoo, they can join every other team in NHL not from Colorado, Detroit, Dallas, or New Jersey who haven't won the Stanley Cup recently either.

I figured that, since I got traded, I should play around: Ignition Attempt 2: Twisters Attempt 1:

Well, I kind of figured Shiro would be traded sooner or later. It's too bad too, since I had finally accepted Phoenix for what it was. Now, he gets to play for this game's version of the Devil Rays. Shiro just can't win.

That Fred Savage sitcome from awhile back, Working, I believe it was called. I liked that show for the short time it was on the air. Honourable mention: Down the Shore

Yeah, it'll probably win the GameFAQs poll...

I'll be right there with you. Sure, I spent hours upon hours in 8 doing not much of anything, but, at least, the game held my interest until the end. As for 7, I am still confused as to how it gets praised as the greatest game ever. I remember my then girlfriend was telling me how I should play it because it's such a great game. I could barely even get by the beginning before getting bored and quitting. I played it again a few years later, and was admittedly mildly entertained for half of it. I finally hit a point where I went from playing all the time to a few hours a day to 3 hours a day to 2 hours to 1 hour to skipping a week and then playing it ever so often. I don't think I have ever went through a phase like that with a game I went through and beat. I kept playing, expecting this great and wonderful ending that everyone was talking about, but was left feeling empty and wondering, "Huh? That's it?" Ah well, it wasn't a total waste. I did get a kick out making this character so powerful that I could wipe out the bosses leading up to the Super Safe Sephiroth of Doom in like 3 turns. That was funny. Also, it caused me to break out Suikoden 2 which I had bought, but never played. Suikoden 2 eventually became one of my favourite roleplay games, so I can thank Final Fantasy 7 for that. -
So, how about this for the Joker logo? I am quite torn on it at the moment.

Is it there now, since it shows up on my computer? Just wanted to make sure.

Well, I'll see what I can do. Some teams will be easy enough, while others I don't have the slightest clue how it would look. Anyway, here's one I did for the Montreal Freedom Fries:

Wow. This is worse than a Heat thread. How the mighty have fallen.

I pretty much watch for the characters I really like and ignore the rest. I watch to see what Tajiri, Shelton Benjamin, Gail Kim, and Eugene are doing. Otherwise, I either don't watch it(Smackdown) or use it as background while I play on the computer(the rest of Raw).
