Okay. I am kind of confused here. Shiro breaks his wrist, which causes him to change his game. Okay, I can partially see why he has switched to more power hitting, but why has he suddenly decided to steal bases for the first time in his career? Just curious.

I finished university in December. Unfortunately, I have to wait all the way until June to get my actual degree, since I have to wait until the graduation ceremony is over. I refuse to attend.

Isn't that just the overnight rating though? Those used to be as high as in the 4s a few months ago. If that's the case, I expect it go somewhat lower when the actual rating is shown.

A few years ago, I bought a Quebec Nordiques hat, and then I suddenly had a passing thought that the Colorado Avalanche would face the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup finals that year. I remember telling a friend who thought I was insane since no one really believed the Avalanche had a hope in hell against the record setting Red Wings team of that year. Also, during the playoffs of this year, I had a dream where Tampa Bay lost to Montreal Canadiens 4-2 and the Flames beat the Red Wings 3-1. Strangely ironic, since the Flames lost to the Red Wings 4-2 and the Lightning beat the Canadians 3-1 on that particular day.

I am also rooting for the Sharks. I actually have been hoping for a Lightning-Sharks Stanley Cup Final, since the First round. The Lightning are my favourite NHL team, and the Sharks are probably my favourite team in the West.

I just saw it. I really didn't like it. I did enjoy the character of Hector, but, otherwise, the movie just felt rushed to me. Like when Achilles and Hector met, it felt like a fairly short fight. I felt that should have been a fairly big deal, as opposed to just another part of the film. To their credit, they tried to build it as such before the battle, but the battle just came off as extremely anticlimatic to me. It was trying to condense a bunch of different subplots into a movie, and I felt they just did not do a lot of them justice. Not to mention the fact they did a rather liberal interpretation of the book itself, which, certainly didn't endear the story to me at all. Ignoring the fact that they changed a lot of the history of the story, I felt the movie was kind of average. Other than Hector and Achilles, the characters mostly came off as rather shallow or totally irritating(Paris.) Even with Achilles, they never really explained what his motivations were, like why was he so obsessed with being remembered? I will give a 5 out of 10. I liked certain parts of the movie, but the parts I disliked about the movie really dragged it down for me.

Hercules, Samson, and Ulysses(1963) - Hercules meets up with Samson to take down a Philistine tyrant. It was not as bad as I expected, and turned to be fairly inoffensive. 5.5/10

Fox claims the owners of the billboard, across the street from CNN's Atlanta offices, refuse to post a message trumpeting Fox's successes in the ratings war between the cable networks. Fox lawyer Dianne Brandi said in a letter that Atlanta company Camfaux may have buckled to pressure from CNN not to put up the message. "Should you choose not to put up the billboard immediately, we will consider all options available to us, including, of course, legal options," Brandi wrote. Camfaux president Tony Vergoven said his company owned the billboard when Fox began renting it in 1999 but has since sold it to Boardworks Outdoor Advertising, another Atlanta company. "We have no control, or we'd be taking care of Fox," Vergoven said. Boardworks officials did not return phone calls seeking comment. "This decision was entirely up to the owner of the billboard," CNN said in a statement. The proposed sign would read: "Now That CNN's Ratings are Gone With the Wind, Our Work on This Board Is Done. You forgot to mention that it also has former WCW wrestler, Tyler Mane in it as well. I never thought I'd see Nathan Jones and Tyler Mane in an "Oscar worthy" flick.

Tampa over Philly in 6 It really could go either way, but I think the extra rest will do the Lightning well, and Khabi will bring his A game once again, leading the Lightning to a hard fought win. SJ over Calgary in 5. Calgary falls back down to earth, while the Sharks finally gain a killer instinct. Oh, and Olympic Slam, don't sweat people picking Calgary. As a Lightning fan, I went through the exact same thing in the last round on another board where I post. Everyone was picking Montreal in a laugher. In the end, Tampa Bay not only beat Montreal, they swept them. It makes winning that much sweeter when the majority thinks your team has no chance in hell.

Well, it looks like the Sharks are going to put away the Avalanche in their series, thus eliminating the last of the "Big Four." I guess this means that whoever wins the Cup will certainly be someone different. It is sort of hard to imagine any of the teams left being Stanley Cup champions. You have a small market, Western Canadian team (Calgary), a team who, up until last year, was a perennial doormat(Tampa), a team who practically makes a yearly ritual of choking in the playoffs then firing somebody(Philadelphia), a team who hasn't won a Stanley Cup since 1967(Toronto), and San Jose. It should make for an interesting Cup Final.
