I can't see why it would be that too unfair. Miami may have a strong QB, but I am sure they would have other weaknesses on their team. Besides, it seems as if you hammered him anyway, so I don't think it would have made too much of a difference. I won my game rather easily against Air Force. It looked like they would be an immense challenge at the beginning, as they marched down the field for a TD. My offense followed in kind, and, on the ensuing kickoff, their top running back went down with an injury. At that point, my team just routed them, 59-13. Confusing game. Their offense was good, but they just couldn't score. They would always come close and get stopped. My third backup qb just routed them after replacing my injured starter, throwing for over 300 yards. I just wish their starting runner hadn't gotten injured. It would have otherwise been a fun shootout, I am guessing. I rewarded my offense for their superb effort by cutting a lot of them in the offseason. I overrecruited and gained a ton of new offense. I was only looking to sign one new QB, but then I get three. I have to decide which one to start between an 81 overall pocket passer or a 77 overall scrambler. I am thinking I will try the scrambler and redshirt the other guy. I haven't had a scrambling QB in years, and I have two more pocket passers(an overall 74 recruit with good potential and my third backup from the year before.) just in case I suck ass at scrambling. I always kind of hate when my team gets too good. It sucks the fun out of it when I know I can just skip 90% of the season, and still probably go undefeated, especially with this conference schedule. Then again, I get to face my former team this year(or what's left of it). Thus far without me, they took a bizarre loss to woeful Wyoming. Wyoming shouldn't have even been in their league, but they pulled out a 36-33 upset victory. Last season, they were 7-5 and lost in the San Francisco Bowl to Indiana. I look forward to hammering them.

I am playing on All-American myself. I am not doing that bad in my game. I started up a dynasty with Furman. After two years in the independents, I replaced Temple in the Big East. I won the Insight Bowl over Washington St. in my third year, then took the National title in my fourth year with a victory over USC. I stopped playing the game for a bit after that, returned, and decided that I was bored with Furman and quit halfway through my fifth year, continuing on the dynasty as I signed on with a new team. Now I am with Middle Tennessee State. I dominated in the sea of mediocrity that was the Sun Belt Conference in my first year, going undefeated, and winning the New Orleans Bowl over South Florida. And now I am in Conference USA. Not a bad place to be as TCU has been a top team for years, and Louisville just won the national title the year before. Unfortunately, I didn't face TCU. I did get Louisville, as I took their offensive player of the year out to the woodshed in a satisfying 41-0 thrashing. Now, I get to face Air Force in the national title game. The top defense vs. the top rushing offense. Their passing offense sucks, so I have to look forward to a lot of rushes. My defense thrives on sacking the QB, and leading my opponent into making costly interceptions. I usually can contain the run, but I know I will be facing a tough challenge with this running back. I really don't want to have to rely too much on my mediocre offense, especially since the last time I faced a Mountain West team, I ended up putting my CB as my quarterback because my QB's were just that bad. Sadly, my CB dominated, even doing something my other QB's couldn't do...throw a TD pass. Too bad he didn't hook up with my backup MLB/starting OLB/third TE. Ah well. It's Conference USA vs Mountain West in the Rose Bowl for the National title! Too bad that will never happen in real life, as I think that could be a hilarious scenario.

I quite enjoyed the Sunday show. I only saw three matches, but I must admit that I was quite impressed with Bucanero and Guerrero. I marked out when Bucanero hit a slingshot stunner or something on Vampiro and held it while Guerrero hit a drop kick. The first two falls went a bit quick for me, but the third fall was the most enjoyable things I have seen in wrestling in awhile. I also LOVE these double and triple team moves that I saw on this show. It was also nice to see old WCW luchas like Damien 666 and Halloween. I am still a tad confused on some of the rules, but I must admit that I quite like what little I have seen of lucha so far. I can't wait until the next week's shows.

Now that I finally have that station, what time does it come on?

I think Cena eliminated him during a break. I thought they showed Cena eliminating somebody, but then they never mentioned it again.
-
Well, the other favourites on the Smackdown side were: Big Show, Benoit, and Cena. Kurt has already proven he can beat Benoit and Cena, and I am guessing he defeated Big Show at some point. I can't really remember a recent Guerrero/Angle singles match, offhand. Maybe he figured he could handle those other three, while being unsure if he could overcome Eddie.

I'd assume it would be because his grandfather married the sister of either his father or mother, and they had the child. At least that's the only way that makes any sense to me. -

Well, the season before, there were 5 undefeated teams(Miami, OU, Hawaii, Colorado St., and TCU.) The national title game was Miami and Oklahoma. Figuring my team got screwed, I would stack the most insanely impossible schedule, and try to run through it. I also trying to see if I should move up to Heisman or not. My schedule was helped along by Hawaii replacing Arizona St. in the Pac 10. I also had Florida automatically penciled in as my first game. I figured I might as well put Oklahoma there because I wanted to see how I'd fare against them, and I didn't really need to squash Arkansas St. I did have three top ten teams in my original schedule. I had Oklahoma(number one), USC(number 4), and Oregon(number ten). USC ended up losing to Cal, then getting mauled by my team 38-10, then dropping a third straight, and finishing unranked. Oregon went into my game against them 6-0 with, according to Corso, "an unstoppable offense." My number one defense took offense, and, by the end of the game, they lost 34-0 in one of my finest games. Their offense didn't even gaining 150 total yards, while their QB got sacked like 8 times with 3 INT's. Unstoppable, my ass. Anyway, I credit that Oklahoma team, unlike Texas, USC, and Oregon, at least they played like they belonged in the Top 25. I think it is somewhat realistic. In my first three seasons, Oklahoma destroyed poor Texas. Texas finally got over the hump, only to choke in the national championship game. Typical Texas.

Well, I just won the National Championship in my Hawaii season, and I have to admit, Texas is pathetic. It was the national championship game, and I was expecting a challenge. Texas had (finally) defeated Oklahoma, so I was thinking I would be facing a pretty tough team in this game. Heck, Oklahoma was beating me down 17-7 before my team finally got it together and came back for a 28-20 victory earlier in the season. Anyway, the score was reasonably close at 14-6 in the 2nd quarter, as they benefitted on an INT when I screwed up an audible, and a patently idiotic fumble on the kick return from my team. Of course, my team rallied and marched the ball down the field for a last second TD to put me up 21-6 going into the half. My team followed that up by getting the ball and another TD to put me up 28-6. Well, here it is, 3rd quarter of the National title game, and I am facing the second best team in the nation, and...they promptly fold up their tents and quit! They literally ran every time they had the ball every down but two, for the rest of the game. Here I was expecting a supposedly tough team to go out in a blaze of glory, and all I get is a team sitting in the fetal position yelling, "No mas!" That had to be one of the most pathetic displays of football I have ever seen. I have honestly never seen a team just up and quit like that. It was so sad, even the announcers were ragging on them, saying stuff like: Corso: "Texas didn't do much on their last possession. Other announcer: They had the ball? Corso: Exactly. I guess it's time for me to move on to another school in my game. I like Hawaii, but they have no real rivalries, and I kind of miss playing in the snow. Maybe I will try to lead Rutgers to a national title. That'd be a fun challenge.

I decided to start up a Dynasty with Hawaii. I did alright in my first two years, winning the Rose Bowl(despite having a crappy schedule) and defeating Miami in the national championship game. In my third season, I have now decided to move up to All-American level as I think I have moved past Varsity level. Week 2, Game 1. I decided to start off on All-American against a real competitor, a true contender, a god among teams...Portland St. This game was to get me used to my new QB and WR's, as well as gettng adjusted to the All-American level. To Portland St's credit, they hung in there until about the third quarter. They got a field goal to make the game 21-10. On the ensuing kickoff, my team returned it for a TD, then got an INT which also was returned for a TD. The score quickly became 35-10, and the rout was on. Final score: Hawaii 56 Portland St. 10. Game 2, Week 3: No. 8 Hawaii at Toledo. My attempt in this game is to get a significant victory against a decent opponent. Toledo plays a Charmin soft schedule this year, and could easily go 11-1 or 10-2. Figuring this, I decided to jump on the gravy train. Plus, they are a better indicator of where I am than a team like Portland St. or Ball St.(who was originally in this spot on the schedule.) Immediately, things looked rosy as my offense is on fire. Two quick TD's later, and my team is up 14-0. Unfortunately, my offense decided to take a quick vacation after those TD's. Not much happened for the next few quarters, as both defenses were stifling. Finally, in the 4th quarter, my offense remembered they were actually playing a football game and were able to get more quick TD's. This put my team up 28-7, and closed the door on a game that should have much worse. My defense was impressive, blitzing the Toledo QB into oblivion. My QB had 4 TD passes and a 300+ yard game, along with 2 INT's. I wasn't happy with this win at all. Final Score: Hawaii 28 Toledo 7 Game 3 - No 7. Hawaii vs. Indiana In a bizarre fluke, Indiana pulled off 6 wins in a row last year, and finished in the Top 20. I decided that maybe they were good enough to do it two seasons in a row, and decided to schedule them this year. They promptly dispelled this notion by losing 24-21 to Ohio in their first game of the season. Ah well. This game was able to get national exposure, as Indiana was ranked 26th in the nation, while I was ranked 7th. My team started well by getting a quick INT. Unfortunately, my offense couldn't convert despite being in the red zone. Indiana took advantage and scored on the next drive, putting them up early. My team would rebound with two quick TD's putting us in the lead, 14-7. Late in the 2nd quarter, Indiana was at the goal line, and things were not looking good for my team. Their QB's tosses it into the end zone...INT~! by Paul Spence! He promptly took it 106 yards for the TD, and the 14 point lead going into the half! In a side quest for my team, I am trying to get Spence the all-time INT record in this game. Last year, he gained the team record with 11. He has 4 so far, and with several terrible teams on the horizon, it looks doable. Things were quiet until the 4th when my offense put together a dominant drive to make the game 28-7. My defense quickly followed with another INT which was returned for a TD, and Indiana was done. Final score: Hawaii 42 Indiana 7 My next game was against Iowa. It was a home game, and they were 0-2, so I simulated. My team won 16-13. Not as impressive as I wanted, but it saved me like an hour in playing time. Next up: 0-3 Rice. This is going to most likely be a brutal blowout. Rice has consistently sucked ass in the three seasons of this dynasty. I might check out this team when I finish this dynasty, but I am having a blast with Hawaii, thus far. I like this Hawaii team.

It looks like it will be another bad year for the Lions. It looks like that road losing streak will stay in tact for another season, as, other than Chicago, the Giants, and MAYBE Minnesota, I can't see the Lions beating any of those other teams on the road next year. Well, another year of high draft picks ahead!

The rule makes no sense to me. I know a few weeks ago they showed the Lions-Chargers game around this area and I would assume that game hadn't sold out. Maybe they decided to show it as payback for people not showing up, instead of showing a real game.

I believe Aguila/Essa Rios came to the WWE when he was 19 or so. I remember he was the youngest guy to ever appear on a Wrestlemania or something like that. And good for Rene. His dance has been one of the most entertaining things on Raw lately, IMO.

That was a terrible forum. It seems like two guys just talking about random crap. Other than the closed topics folder, it seemed like they were the only two posting.

Just post this: http://us.news2.yimg.com/us.yimg.com/p/net...apt.6439650.jpg in there. that should work. EDIT: Well, click the link, and grab the URL from there. I think you are just trying to post the page the image is on, instead of the image, which is where you are going wrong.

Well, I turned on the New Orleans Bowl. This has been some good stuff so far. I really like North Texas' offense.
-
It wasn't even his finisher the one time. It was a simple electric chair move that was pathetically botched. Somehow, instead of simply dropping back in the move, Heidenreich just stood there as Stevie fell on his head. Anyway, solid review, as always, by Dames. I find myself awaiting Dames reviews almost as much as I do Scott Keith's lately.

You know...I might actually consider ordering a WWE PPV if they did something like that. That would be GOLD~!
