It looks like Cartman's 24 hour window is up.

I am available whenever. Of course, I will be finished after Round 17 anyway, so I'll probably have this mostly wrapped up by the time we get anything together.
-
I'll take a bit of a risk here and take: Marcus Thames, 1B/OF

I went 2-1 in both of my brackets. Missing BC in one and Louisville in the other. I would have went 3-0 in both had I not changed those games at the last minute. Oh well, at least I wasn't among those jumping on the Davidson bandwagon.
-
I'll take Luke Scott, OF.
-
I hope I don't end up regretting this pick, but with my 13th round pick, I choose: Willy Taveras, OF. Welcome back to the team, Willy.

Well, according to the PM he sent me earlier, Fokai said that he wants to select Rafael Soriano. As for my team, I am going to select Jake Westbrook, P

I hope it's not too long. Fokai PM'ed me his pick, and I have my pick all ready to go. I hate waiting.

The Komijul selects: Brad Hawpe, OF

The Komijul select... Zack Duke, SP

The Komijul has decided that we need a catcher and another Canadian because Justin Morneau and Jason Bay just aren't enough. That's why we select: Russell Martin, C

Is this the same Eklund who was considered a running joke during the Lockout? If it is, then how the heck did he manage to go from anonymous idiot blogger to being on Sportsnet in this trade deadline special? EDIT: It's nice to see a sports league have a trade deadline where people are actually making trades. It's a huge improvement over the dud that was the NBA Trade Deadline.

After not much debate, the Komijul has decided that you can't go wrong... With Chien-Ming Wang!
-
The Komijul selects... Mark Teahen, 3B, KC. In hindsight, I really should have kept him instead of BJ Upton.
-
The Komijul select: Bobby Jenks, RP
-
I am going to select Bill Hall 2B/3B/SS.
-
I'm taking Robinson Cano, 2B.
-
Indeed. The Komijul is taking Jason Bay, OF.

If they added some unique stuff to the game that Madden doesn't have, for instance, delving deeper into the franchise & career modes, then I would probably be excited about it. Otherwise, I would probably be as excited about it as I am about the Madden games.

I got through about 20 minutes or so. I found it to be utterly boring. Apparently, it just gets worse from there. If that's the case, I may well have to suck it up and watch the whole thing. It can't be that bad. This brings up a question: How exactly does one go about making a good movie based on a video game?

I am fine with whatever, but I like the holds stat.

E. Howard Hunt died, so it looks like I'm on the board. I remember having a strong feeling about that choice, and it looks like it paid off.

I agree with you there. I would rather hear about the gameplay or how well certain concepts worked, instead of having to skip through crap about how average the graphics and sound were. I am sure that in some games those things might stand out, but, if they don't, ditch 'em. Also, another thing that has annoyed me is when I read a review titled "THIS IS THE WORST GAME I'VE EVER PLAYED!!!!!" then I see a 7 out of 10 rating next to it. If the game is so awful, then why the heck do you rate it 7 out of 10?
