Uh...Hmm...Depends on your definition of "dominated". If you mean by "never losing" then no. That couldn't possibly work...but there were characters in WCW's Crusierweight division that were billed as top guys, then were "promoted" to bigger deals. Jericho and Rey come to mind. Doing ANY kind of the unbeaten streak is a bad idea. It just doesn't work in the long run.

"Like the time that Jushin Liger tore through the entire New Japan cruiserweight division, in 1999 I think, in an attempt to build him up... only to see him get beaten by the heavyweights in the eventual blowoff matches, which just made everyone look like shit." This is actually a REALLY bad example. Jushin Liger did this because he booked the NJPW Juniors, and was in line to get a IWGP title shot against Sasaki. Only problem is, Riki Choshu was booker, and Riki Choshu is VERY anti-juniors. So Liger made the decision to put himself over all the NJPW Juniors to build himself up for his own title shot, in which Choshu basically booked him to get mauled against his protege Sasaki. That wouldn't happen in TNA, where the main booking committee has oversight on it all. In NJPW, the Junior Division and Heavyweight Divisions are completely seperate UNLESS the Heavyweight and Juniors are in a match together, in which the main booker (currently Choshu) has the say. Another great example is Milano Collection AT. Liger made the decision to put Milano over in this year's Junior tournament. Milano was then IMMEDIATELY yanked from the Junior division and buried in the Heavyweight division. It's never been confirmed, but the thought is that Choshu wasn't happy about Milano's push, and used his power to crush it.

Actually, it's a valid issue. You are paying for Xbox Live support, and many (myself included) simply bought the system FOR the online play. With the constant Live issues, it brings up a valid issue that you are paying for a service that is not functioning correctly. Therefore, lawsuit.

Jeff raising his hand to the crowd was a FANTASTIC way to go off the air. I really wanna see that match now. This storyline is awesome.

That is how a stupid ass stunt should be done. Jeff Hardy didn't do that for no reason in storyline. He did it to take Orton out. This is now a blood feud. Jesus fuck that was amazing. Listen to the buzz in the crowd. Their INTO this.

Anyone have any good, cheap game reccomendations? I just got some money, and I'm looking for cheap games to expand my 360 library. I don't have enough to buy 60 dollar brand new games (I wouldn't even if I did out of sheer fiscal morality), so almost all my games come from Ebay. Right now, here's the games I have: Elder Scrolls Oblivion Skate Call of Duty 2 Halo 3 Fight Night Round 3 and I just bought the double pack of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Forza 2 off Ebay...Mainly for MUA since 360 has downloadable characters. I'm not a huge fan of first person shooters on the console, so that hinders the library a bit. I come from a FPS PC background, so using the controller just...feels unnatural, no matter how much I play Halo or Call of Duty on it.

Giants fans...I wouldn't really count on that defense too much. See, the Seahawks went into the Packers game with a pretty good defense too. Patrick Kerney was one of the leading sackers in the NFC. The defense raped the Redskins, and looked to be peaking at "exactly the right time" as the saying goes. And like...the Packers? They humbled the Seahawks. In every possible way. They managed to get pressure on Farve a few times, and he STILL made throws, even when he was stumbling around the field. So, I'm not saying the Giants cannot win...but, I wouldn't count on them getting "pressure" on Farve or making him make bad throws after that game. That man is going to throw that ball even if you hit him.

Hot Fuzz was weird...The first hour or so was boring. I nearly gave up on the movie, but I stuck with it. The final thirty or so is filled with SO MANY cliches and imagery from action movies. It was fantastic. That said...I don't know if the final thirty makes up for the pretty boring first hour.

This looks like it's gonna be a helluva game. The Jaguars aren't going to fuck around it seems.

The Packers completely silenced me with this game. I thought the Seahawks defensive line could/would contain Ryan Grant, and I thought if the Seahawks got out to a lead, Farve would revert and start fucking up. I also figured that the Seahawks would get pressure on Farve constantly. I was wrong about all three of those. Grant seemingly ran at will, Farve played amazingly well, and the Seahawks got almost NO pressure on Farve the entire game. That was a fucking Iron Shiek level humbling.

Seattle's just...checked out, mentally. I think they've been gone for awhile now, but it's obvious now. I really advocate a "mercy kill" to football games. Unless lightning comes from the heavens and strikes all the Green Bay players, Seattle isn't going to win this game when their behind twenty two points with less then four minutes in-game left. Their more or less just playing for pride now.

...what the FUCK was that?

I don't think it helps either that Alexander has seemingly lost steps since the 2005 season, and while Morris is a good runner, I don't think he has the ability to get past people like...for example...this Ryan Grant fella. Couple that with an apparently horrible line, and some questionable play calling and you have a really bad situation. Something has to change though. I'd be willing to take a few losing seasons just to get past this damn hurdle. ...Hey! The Packers punted! This is CLEARLY a turning point.
-
Something has to change with the Seahawks after this. I don't know what, but something has to. This'll be the second year in a row that they've gone 1-1 in the Playoffs. None of the issues since the 2005 season have seemingly gotten dealt with, and the run game has completely evaporated. It's all culminated in this, for lack of a better word, raping. Maybe Holmgren should retire, and we can see what a new head coach could do. Maybe rehaul the offensive line. I don't think BOTH Alexander and Morris are horrible runners, so something else is at work there. This 1-1 stuff sucks. Gives you hope, and then it gets cruelly snatched away.

I could not have been more wrong about this game. I appologize to everyone for trying to make it seem like the Seahawks had a shot. This was clearly an error of judgement.

When I made the comparison it was only lightly snowing. Now it's a storm. Big difference. When the game started, it was only 33 or so degrees...Not that much colder then it's been in the Seattle area all Winter. I know, because I live here. When it's snowed when you live less then a mile from the Pacific Ocean, it's pretty cold. The run plays are really starting to annoy me. They occasionally get a yard or two, but the way Seattle's been calling them you'd think it's been working WELL, and it's not.
-
Given how this game has went, I don't think Seattle can pull themselves back. They can't get to Farve, which is what Seattle loves to do. The offensive line just stops them COLD. The Seattle offense...is the Seattle offense. I really don't get why on the Seattle drive that resulted in the field goal, they suddenly abandoned the pass and ran two run plays that got them *NOTHING*. For most of this game, they've seemed almost hell-bent to get the run going, and it doesn't work. That was almost baffling to me after the first run play got them a yard or two, they immediately tried to run again and Alexander got smashed.
-
...That was a really great play by Farve.
-
...God damn the offense is inept. Seattle deserves to lose this game for somehow botching a 14-0 lead this badly. Edit: ...Too bad the punter was sacrificed for that.
-
Imagine my confusion, coming back in the room after the end of the first quarter to see it ten seconds into the second quarter and the team that just scored having the ball again. Thankfully they mentioned "interception" and I made the connection.
-
Yeah...this aint good.
-
Seahawks are in trouble if they have to rely on the offense. There's a reason the two scores were created by the defense.
-
That was a great drive by Green Bay. Answers my question. I wanted to know if Farve would panick. He answered that real well.
-
I had heard that...but I didn't think that it was...you know...true. If they haven't been practicing outside, then they've given their home advantage to the Seahawks. They ONLY train outside in weather.

Deion Branch down with what looked like a knee injury. That's two Seahawks down already. This is going to take a toil on whoever comes out of this game the winner.
