Tenzan winning is easily the worst thing they could have done in the tournament. The man will never be a draw after how they completely ruined him with the IWGP title. Nagata winning would have been 100x times better booking. They have lightning in the bottle with Tanahashi & Nakamura. Tanahashi is one of the best new comers in years, and Nakamura has credibility that 95% of all other pro-wrestlers WISH they had. This does nothing for anyone, and having Tenzan go over Shibata, Nakamura AND Tanahashi in one night is plain HORRIBLE booking and demeans them with no real reasoning at all. If Tenzan wins the IWGP title AGAIN, what does that do? Nothing. Tenzan has had two horribly booked reigns where he losts them both with a combined one defense. If tenzan challenges and loses to Fujita what does THAT do? Tenzan killed pretty much everyone in the tournament and then he loses to a OUTSIDER? Tanahashi, Nagata or Nakamura should have won, then took the title off of Fujita to kick off a new era for the promotion but NJPW continues to book themselves into corners with these big events. It's quite sad that they have one of the best rosters in the world and they continue to make horrible decisions and use outsiders with half the skill so much.

TEW is very much worth the money. It murders EWR quite badly. The game has some flaws from my point of view, but I keep coming back to it...and I don't even use the real guys. I love the Original Data with the fictional guys. It's made to give you a challenge unlike the real life updates. You could wait around for TEW 2005, but really we don't know when that's coming and it hasn't even been started on yet, but Ryland has said he has figured better ways to work his code...so who knows. I say get it, but then I've always been into simulators.

That last one is a good example for why I love cosplay.

I watch Lucha on Galavision every so often. There is one man you must bow before...and his name is Rey Bucanero.

It pretty much is, but with a crap load more people and no weapons. Each team has like...eight people or so. One of my favorite matches of all time, very fun match.

...thanks for the positive criticism about my theory. Now I'll do yours. Yours attaches nothing other then just a three line insult. I seriously doubt WWE did the whole "Angle is Eddie's friend!" like they did LEADING into this, if they weren't going to use almost all of it in some way. Nor would Ithink they'll just let all these "Mystery attackings" go without a reason.

...Ok... Eddie has won FAR, FAR more matches then he has lost personally in the last six months. The fans rally behind him no matter what and he was basicly the heart and soul of the Los Guerrero's team. 90% of the teams losses came about from CHAVO, and Eddie survived the Chavo feud(..Feud?) ahead with more popularity and more firery determination to become the best. IF as my theory suggests, Angle was trying to keep Eddie away eariler....then damn, by then I'd be almost pissing myself due to what a fired up Eddie could do now in his scene. Edit: Oh and Eddie wasn't built up for the Rumble....BECAUSE OF ANGLE! IT ALL CONNECTS~!

Who else would he target? Big Show? He can't take him out in the back without being seen. Cena? Why would he worry about Cena. They had their little dispute and Angle came out just fine. To my knowlege, Eddie & Angle NEVER had a really meaningful program...So wouldn't you be worried of the guy on the biggest hot streak in the fed leading into it all? Nearly every other "Threat" on SD, he's interacted with in some form.
-
The reason for it all is simple. When Angle showed back up he was aiming for the WWE title. It's as simple as that, so he saw all the people who could be threats and one of them was Eddie. So, he began to try and keep Los Guerrero's together so Eddie would NOT be a threat to him and his desires for the title, and instead would focus on the WWE title. When the breakup happened who was it that set up the Chavo/Eddie match? ANGLE! in an attempt to keep Eddie out of the Rumble. Then the SD Rumble happened...Angle once again saw Eddie as his possible biggest challenge. Therefore, he attacked him in the back and laid him out. Eddie came back and won the rumble however. The next time someone got laid out, it was Angle himself. Why? To take the heat off him in case someone was on his trail. By being "Beat up" who would assume he did it to Eddie when the same person assaulted him? Angle then wins #1 contendership, and feels secure that he has his title back, since he's fairly sure he can take out Brock.....then Eddie, that same night becomes WWE champion. Angle tries to make it seem like he is supportive...but it's easily see throughable. As soon as he finds out who the Guest referee is, he takes him out. In this case, it's the third beating Angle has given in the back. He then gives that big speech to Heyman in order to plant the idea in Heyman's mind that he should be guest referee...Hell, he might have even TOLD Heyman what was going on. They once were aligned afterall. So Angle goes the referee gig, but at the end he's had enough and shows his true colors. Beating the hell out of Eddie in an effort to weaken him for WM. Angle's main goal this entire time has been to take out Eddie as a threat for HIS world title...but Eddie has kept coming for it. Now Eddie is champion, and Angle doesn't have to sneak around anymore. He can outright just beat him down, and every time he does he gets a little closer to the World title.

I bought my DC in it's last couple of months alive as a system. It's one of the best I've ever had myself...My poor system got leaked on due to roof problems, so it doesn't run very well anymore but I still use it. The games I play the most are Fire Pro D and Power Stone 2. I also still play NFL 2k1 from time to time aswell. Power Stone is like a toned down verison of the Super Smash Brothers games with anime-like characters really, but it's very good mindless fun.

I picked up Master of Orion II last Friday for ten bucks. Last CD they had of it too. Old school galactic domination at it's best my friends.

I've played SNSM 2 and I reviewed it at Gamefaqs. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE GOD DAMN GAME. Ruins everything SNSM has going for itself and you can see why we never got a third one in the series. Saturday Night Slam Masters has an unoffical upgrade called Muscle Bomber Duo. I dunno how easy it was to find in the arcades but I've played it on Emulators. Basicly, it enhances just about everything in the original with more moves and way better AI(You actually have to fight differently for everyone, not just Jumbo & Scorpion). I'd advise you to check that out if you want to check out a "Sequel"

Zsnes is really the ONLY Way to go IMO for SNES emulation. It can play 99% of the games damn near pefectly. I've never been able to find too great of a NES emulator, so I can't judge much in that area.

The One and Only Survivor: Pearl Islands Thread
Hawkius Maximus replied to fairtoflair7's topic in Television & Film
I don't really think Jon is that good of a Survivor player myself. I just think the people he's against are really subpar players. None of them seem to have any abilities to control the game outside of just will. Usually, there are one or two people in each Survivor that try and control the game but Jon is the only one who has done so outside of Rupert and he controled the flow of the game in a very different way. Jon is easily the first person I can say I don't want to win, but then I REAALLY don't want Lil to win. Atleast Jon has a set personality and is being a total ass to win. Lil is just wishy-washy and a oversensitive waste of space. -
Nakamura/Fedor isn't happening guys. It's being changed to Kosaka v.s. Fedor. Not even INOKI is stupid enough to throw the IWGP champion against the PRIDE champion.
