  1. My mom's watching some Nora Roberts Lifetime movie right now, and it features Emilie de Ravin in a starring role. That can't be what she missed season 5 for.

I'm pretty sure she's starring on CBS's "Harpers Island".

  2. I'm getting my wife the new 4th gen nano for christmas, any ideas what FM transmitters I can use that are compatible?

Nearly every FM transmitter on the market, if not all, are either 30-pin or 3.5mm. You're laughin.

I have no idea what you mean by "you're laughin", or what 30 pin means.

Our car doesn't have a tape deck or any way to hook up the ipod, so from what I've read, an FM transmitter is my only option.

    Any suggestions?

Fair enough, I could have been clearer.

IPods (with the exception of shuffles and the first gen) have a jack with 30 small pins to connect. Most FM transmitters are designed for Ipods, because they, like the USB cable for your IPod, have 30 pins. Thus, most FM transmitters will work, and you're laughin - by that, I mean you need not search high and low. Nearly any place that sells Ipods or car stuff will have at least a few options. FWIW, the ones that connect via 3.5mm (aka headphone jack) are usually considerably cheaper, albeit with the disadvantage of draining the Ipod's battery during play. Simply plug it in to your Ipod and your cigarette lighter, find a station with dead air, and baby, you got a stew goin.

    STEW GOIN'? WTF...

Just kidding, thanks for the heads up. I just didn't know which brand would be better than the other. Looks like there's no particular one that really stands out. Thanks again.

  4. I've been 'quietly" following this show since it's debut, and it's really grown on me. I'll agree, Gossellars speeches come across preachy at times, and on the whole, the show could use a tighter script. The brunette is a damn fine piece of eye candy, but her delivery seems wooden at times.

That said, the supporting cast is incredible, and they keep me coming back more than Mark-Paul (whom I normally love.)

Great show, hope it tightens up in season 2.

  5. Started Weight Watchers a couple months ago when I got married and have gone from 270 to 241 in two months. It's a great program that I wholeheartedly reccomend. The point system rocks, as I get about 40 points a day to use and I NEVER get past 30. I eat what i want, when i want. The hardest part is cutting back on juice, which I adore.

  6. I always knew Mideon sucked. And the other two members of Kientia.

Mideon..God, what memories. Did he win ANY matches, ever? Wasn't he in Southern Justice/The Godwins? What happened to the other guy?

I always thought Andre was pure shit in the ring, ditto to the Godfather, Skinner, and the ex-con wrestler who wrestled in a bright orange jumpsuit.

  7. Personally, I don't think MVP qualifies for this list. He is already an upper card performer with the ability and opportunity to make that next step. The rest of the list outside of Carlito and Cade are relative newcomers still growing and among that list, Dibiase stands out the most to be considered the next probable top guy in the company. Evan Bourne has a great chance to supplant Mysterio, so he is a close second.

MVP is stuck in the proverbial middle alongside the likes of Kennedy (remember him?), Umaga, Shelton Benjamin, Carlito, Jeff/Matt Hardy and Finlay. It was just a couple of years ago, these guys were amongst the ones considered the future of company. Now, the old guard continues to hold its place and only a couple have truly broken through that middle ground and established themselves as new stars.

It's going to take some time...Edge being an example of this.

  8. Yeah, that's why I bumped this. I would have chosen a whole different crop of guys. People were so sold on Kanyon on here back in the day, it's funny that the general WWE fan doesn't know who that is if you asked him today. Plus the repeated uses of "Glass Ceiling" were humorous.

  9. I'll admit I teared up a bit during this ep, especially with the walking of the gurney to the elevators.

Great ep, and this show deserves more credit than it gets lately. The current cast is awesome, but then again, each incarnation of this cast piggybacks nicely on the previous one. Can I derail this thread to assign my dream ER lineup?

Fuck you, Kovac, I never liked you.

  10. Does anybody know how to throw people over the top rope for the RR in WM21? I made it to the end the RR and I couldn't figure it out and I gave out.

Took me forever to figure it out, but you hit A or B (either one) when they are near the ropes...now the question is, how to get them near the ropes.
